Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. Exodus 33:11.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

Do you notice that those who were anointed, especially the prophets, had an intimacy with Me that the general assembly did not? The anointing led to intimacy with Me that no one else had. Even in times of war, famine, drought, or storms, the anointed ones lived above it and walked right through, such as Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, and I could go on.

He permitted no man to oppress them, and He reproved kings for their sakes, saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. 1 Chronicles 16:21-23.

Chaos and disaster could be on every side, but it did not pull down My prophets or take them by surprise. They knew from Me what was going on and why. They understood while others did not. They saw things from a very different perspective. But they would try to make the others see and understand but hard hearts refuse instruction.

What made them different and caused them to enter into intimate friendship with Me?

They were interested in Me. Their hearts were towards Me. They had love for Me. They, like Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Leah, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Deborah, Samuel, David, and so many more down the ages until this very day enjoyed Me and drew close to Me.

Make me know Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day . . . The intimacy (secret, fellowship, friendship, counsel) of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:4-5;14-15.

Doubt and unbelief are the spirit of rebellion inspired by Satan and are at work in the sons of disobedience to blind their minds to the glorious truth of the Gospel shining in Christ—burning brightly in the anointed One and those with the anointing in and on them who are in the anointed One. Sin is what separates you from fellowship with Me.

Behold, the LORD’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken falsehood, your tongue mutters wickedness. Isaiah 59:2-1-3.

But it is, and has always been, My desire to dwell among you and live in continual fellowship with you—to have all know Me from the least to the greatest. And that is what the new Covenant is about. In Jesus, I anoint all who believe, because by His death and resurrection the sin that divides us is removed in Him, the dividing wall is down.

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31-34.

And that is why Jesus told His disciples on the night He was betrayed that no one comes to Me but through Him. He purifies you of sin and pours the anointing in and on you.

And Jesus told you to come to Him for the refreshment of fellowship. Matthew 11:28-30. Fellowship with Me is a refreshing and it comes with the anointing. When the anointing would fall upon Elijah, he had so much joy (the joy of the Lord (Jesus) is your strength) that he could outrun the chariot of Ahab.

Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:9-11.

Yes, JOY is in the anointing. I anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power, but have you never read what that anointing oil is? IT IS THE OIL OF JOY.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your fellows. Psalm 45:7.

And a second witness:

But of the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your companions.” Hebrews 1:8-9.

The anointing on the Head is the anointing on the body. You who believe are anointed with the oil of joy and no one can take that anointing away from you. I have sealed you who believe in the good news of Salvation (Jesus) in Christ by the Holy Spirit as a pledge. That anointing is abiding in you, are you letting the oil flow into your lamp? In fellowship with Me there is JOY and it is your strength. And all can come to Me now. But many will not come.

“Come now, and let us reason (draw close and go deeper) together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” Truly, the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 1:18-20.

It is the sword of your own words that will deliver and bless you or devour and curse you. Before you each day are life or death, blessing or cursing, love or hate, forgiveness or unforgiveness, and it is your choice, but please choose life, blessing, love, forgiveness, for this is My Will for you in Christ Jesus. And how do you arrive there? In continual fellowship with Me. And how do you get there? The anointing. And how do you activate it? Rejoice always in Me, pray without ceasing in fellowship with Me, and give constant thanks for My magnificent promises which you have in Christ Jesus, the anointed One.

The anointing means that I am always there with you. My love is in your heart and I am in your heat ready to answer you at every moment by My Spirit who dwells in you and is with you forever. There is no time I am not there for you. Learn to lean on that and live on that. Jesus took your sins and for a moment was forsaken so you will never have to be.  But though it seemed He was forsaken and abandoned, He was not for My Spirit was there.

You are NEVER without Me once you are in the anointed One and have the anointing in you, the anointing that abides within.

I am with you by the anointing.

The Spirit lifted and left the Temple before the eyes of Ezekiel when it had been filled with idols and abominations by My people who had broken Covenant with Me. My Spirit left King Saul when jealousy and murder entered his heart though the spirit of rebellion and disobedience. But in Jesus, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and I have promised never to be angry with you again.

For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great tenderness and compassion I will gather you. In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer. “For this is like the days of Noah to Me, when I swore that the waters of Noah would not flood the earth again; so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you nor will I rebuke you. For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:7-10.

There is no condemnation now for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have taken away all your sins and put them on Him. Repent, return, rejoice, and I restore, better than before. Be quick to repent from you heart for sin cost Heaven its best, but honor the blood of Jesus that makes it as if you never sinned and cleanses you from all unrighteousness by receiving that redemption with joy.

How do you stay aware that I am with you? Simple. Keep up the conversation. Ask questions, I answer. Keep up the conversation and you will hear Me. But a conversation of honor, love, and trust—not of grumbling and complaining, not accusing and blaming, not testing in unbelief and doubt, not in daring Me to supply for you as the Israelites did in the desert when they had seen My works and should have known My ways of lovingkindness and truth. Come to Me with faithful love, repentance, and trust expecting My goodness. It is a choice you make whether to believe or not. And you control that.

If you stay in the rest and intimacy of the anointing nothing can move you to sin and no one can steal your joy. You will be steadfast, stayed, immovable, and you will stand through whatever dust storm the devil stirs up and come out still standing, clothed in the armor of the anointing. Evil cannot stick on an anointed head. It slides off. And that is the helmet of Salvation, an anointed mind renewed in My Word.

I am always there for you to lean on if you choose to do so. But there is no peace for the wicked, they are like the tossing sea that cannot be quiet and its waters toss up refuse and mud. Isaiah 57:19-20. But praise of the lips brings peace and I will heal you. Isaiah 57:19.

If you want to come to Me as I desire in intimate loving fellowship where we go deeper into the things of the Spirit you must take time to hear what I am saying to you for the present moment and that will bring faith. I seek those who worship in spirit and truth. What I am saying to you is do not just come with your analytical mind that argues against rather than agrees with My promises. Come with your spirit, for faith is not of the mind but of the spirit. You must renew your mind to the Words of the Spirit.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural (worldly, carnal) man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:12-16.

Your protection and your safety, your healing and your direction, are in hearing from Me. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you. You must get the Word you need and you can only hear if you come to Me in fellowship. Not just a mental exchange but an exchange in spirit and in truth. Step into the place of the anointing and go deeper and the deeper you go the more clearly you will hear. My psalmist David put it this way: “Deep calls unto deep.”

When you pray to Me and I start to show you something, your mind will try to put the answer in, but you must still your mind and draw up the answer from within your spirit. Draw on the anointing. With joy you will draw water from the spring of Salvation. You must lower your bucket deep into the waters of peace and the answer will come into your spirit and then enlighten your understanding as your mind receives the input from the spirit. You will know when you have heard from Me for it will be just the answer you needed and it will set your heart on fire with excitement and joy.

Do not let anyone steal your joy. Keep drawing on the anointing.

I love you. Do you notice that I constantly invite you to come into My presence but that I never tell you to leave? The anointing means that I am always there with you. For the anointing is My love in your heart.
