I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:4-5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
I have eternal purpose and eternal plans. From everlasting to everlasting, I AM God.
The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation. Psalm 33:11.
For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” Isaiah 46:9-10.
What most people do not think about is that Jesus did just not arrive suddenly on the scene and was absent in the times of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But Jesus told you that Abraham saw His day and rejoiced, and the Moses wrote about Him. He even told the Pharisees that before Abraham came to be, He, Jesus, was.
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.” John 8:58.
The response of those who heard Him say those words of eternal existence as one with Me was to try to stone Him, but He walked out without them even seeing Him leave. His hour had not come yet. He was in My secret place. Jesus had used My Name as His identity. And this was correct. He and I, with the Spirit, are One.
I do not know of any other God than Me. I share My glory with no one else.
“I AM the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another. Isaiah 42:8.
And yet what did Jesus pray at the Passover supper the night He was betrayed and entered into His hour that had come to take all your sins upon Himself and offer His life in the flesh so you could live eternally free from sin?
I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:4-5.
I share My glory with no one else. That should tell you one thing: He and I are one God. He is not separate from Me.
Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24.
You see that Jesus as referred to His existence as One with Me as the great I AM before the world was, before the foundation of the world, and of our great love that flows in us and through us into all creation. It is everlasting, eternal love.
The LORD appeared to me from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Jeremiah 31:3.
For I AM love and Jesus is exactly as I AM and so is the Spirit. Love never fails or falls below. I AM the Most High. Love is the Most High. Love cannot be conquered. Love cannot be overcome.
And this is true of all My attributes that flow therefrom. Light cannot be overcome by darkness. Good cannot be overcome by evil. Truth cannot be overcome by lies. The eternal cannot be overcome by time or death. And the good news is that I share all this with you to make you more than a conqueror so that you can receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness and reign in life through Christ Jesus. It is My glory. And Jesus, now that He is one with you as well as one with Me desires to share that glory with you.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23.
And that should make your life move up to a whole new level. Your life should be extraordinary. It should be exciting. You should find it delightful. When you take delight in Me, I give you the desires of your heart. Jesus, when He came into the world, sang to Me, “To do your Will, O My God, is My delight, and your law is within My heart.”
Then I said, “Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of Me. I delight to do Your will, O My God; Your Law is within My heart.” Psalm 40:7-8.
One with Me yet when sent to save you, He humbled Himself to serve you and Me and to give His life as a ransom for the many. He withheld nothing from you but gave you all.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
When you take Jesus as your Lord, when you believe in Him, you gain all and lose nothing but your faults and sins.
You have all to gain and nothing to lose, why do people neglect, and even reject, so great a salvation? The fool says in his heart there is no God. It is foolish beyond stupidity to reject so much treasure that is being freely offered to you in Christ. For in Him I am offering you Myself and all that is in Me, which is every good thing given and every perfect gift.
I will hear what God the LORD will say; for He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; but let them not turn back to folly (kislah (כְּסִלָה): stupidity). Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Psalm 85:8-9.
All My magnificent promises as expressed in My Covenant Names are fulfilled in Jesus and made available to you in Jesus, making you partakers of My divine nature. Eternal life and all the benefits included therein are yours if you just take them by faith in Jesus as one God with Me who has given His life that you may never perish but live with Me eternally in the Kingdom. This surpasses all worldly understanding. The greatness of this can only be understood in the Spirit. It is too far above all you can ask, think, or even imagine. Enlarge your heart so I can show you more.
And another witness from My Word on the divinity of Jesus according to the Spirit. I tell you to worship no god, nothing else, but Me alone. Your worship belongs to Me as your God, your creator, sustainer, and LORD. You are to bow the knee to none other as your supreme lawgiver, judge, and King, who saves you.
And there is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none except Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance. They will say of Me, ‘Only in the LORD are righteousness and strength.’ Isaiah 45:22-24.
And yet I tell you that every knee must bow to the Name of Jesus, the Name He inherited from Me. Hebrews 1:4. There is salvation in no one else, for there no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which you must be saved. Acts 4:12.
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the Name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11.
I love you. Jesus is God and Man. Of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. I so loved the world that I gave you My Son to save you, not to condemn you, but to remove your condemnation and give you justification. Worthy is the Lamb.
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped. Revelation 5:11-14.
