Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Never stop singing My songs, it will never end but go on and on. I surround you with songs of love, with songs of deliverance, with songs and shouts of triumph and joy. I sing over you as one sings at festivals and I give you songs in the night that teach you wisdom.
Live your life only to please Me, then you will be totally free.
And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.” As He spoke these things, many came to believe in Him. So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:29-32.
You will walk in true life free from worry or strife. If your goal is to please Me in everything, inside and out, your life will be free of fear, torment, and doubt, for you will always be looking to Me. But it all starts with your thoughts. And that is where you must begin your watch.
Keep your heart pure and I will make you secure. What do I mean by a pure heart? A heart that refuses to meditate on evil, on malice, on gossip, on offense, on revenge, on self-pity, on accusation, on depression, on fear, on anxiety and worry, on blame, on regret, on shame, and on idle profane things that bear no fruit but instead tear down in their lust, cleverness and scorn. The things born of hell must never prevail in your thoughts and meditations and never be the spark that sets your tongue ablaze in an unholy venting, railing, ranting, raving, shaming, and blaming diatribe.
Make my joy complete by being of like mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Philippians 2:2.
Don’t live to please others but only to please Me, then your life will be totally free. You will walk in the Blessing and not under the curse and your life will be filled with the joy of new birth. Do what I say and do not worry or fear, only know without a doubt that I am here with you now to guide you and bless you, to shield and protect you.
It is time to live your life with one goal: to please Me, to live your life unto Me alone and then everything else will fall into place by My grace.
It is time you took control and make every word and thought pleasing unto Me.
Keep Your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm19:13-14.
You are no one’s slave, especially not of yourself, that is, of your own wrong thoughts, worry, addictions, and torment. I have raised My Son from the grave and I raised you with Him and seated you with Him in Heaven. If you serve others, do it with all your heart to please Me, but do not let them control you by seeking their praise above Mine.
Become so united with Me that you have a continual free flow of My grace into every area of your being and all that concerns you. And this is not only possible but within the reach of each one of you who are in Christ by the choice of your heart.
For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. John 1:16-18.
You may be thinking that doing all you do to please Me and not turning to the darkness or evil thoughts, lies, gossip, demeaning talk about others, or anger is something you would like to do but feel incapable of attaining. I have good news for you, you cannot do it on your own, but I am present as your Helper.
Do not fear, I will help you. Isaiah 41:14.
I am not disappointed in you or angry with you. I tell you to cast your cares on Me because I care for you. I warn you to pray not to enter into temptation for your spirit is willing but because of Adam’s sin in the flesh you flesh became weak with respect to refusing evil. But if you come to Me and lean on Me, you will find help. I am the God of all comfort but if you refuse comfort I cannot help you. There is no rest for the wicked, they have no shalom peace.
You happiest days will be the days you spend with Me. When you link with Me in faithfulness and love, I can direct you in the way you should go, I can reveal hidden treasures to you and warn you of the things to come. I can give you inside information that the worldly do not see or understand.
I can give you the joy of a life well lived.
Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:11-14.
I tell you that the “fear of the LORD” is the beginning of wisdom and that all those who do fear Me have good understanding. Psalm 111:10. I define the “fear of the LORD” in various places. I reveal that the “fear of the LORD” is to hate evil. Proverbs 8:13. By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the “fear of the LORD” one keeps away from evil. Proverbs 16:6. And in Psalm 34 I tell you that I will teach you the “fear of the LORD” and it is to “keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit, to depart from evil and do good, seek shalom and pursue it.”
My servant Daniel had no fear of men because he exemplifies the “fear of the LORD.” Even if it meant losing his life, he would rather be thrown in a den of hungry lions rather than stop praying to and worshipping Me. What he feared more than anything was losing his perfect fellowship with Me. He called, I answered and told him great and mighty things he could not know. He brought a question I showed him things to come. I also gave him perfect protection, he did not even get so much as a scratch when he spent the night with a group of hungry lions.
My servant Paul who had no fear of what others thought of him, had the “fear of the LORD.” It is the desire to please Me that goes beyond all threats or persecution that doing so will cause you to be rejected by the world and even put to death, but to you there is only one relationship that stands out in importance above all others, and that is your relationship with Me.
Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight, we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:6-10.
The “fear of the LORD” has to do with your relationship with Me, it is an attitude of reverence and awe, but primarily it is the desire to please Me no matter what, and not just outwardly but inwardly. It means in every detail of your life from morning to night and night to morning.
Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences. We are not again commending ourselves to you but are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who take pride in appearance and not in heart. For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. 2 Corinthians 5:11-15.
When you get to the point that you do not want to allow even one thought or one word in your mind, heart, or mouth that would not please Me, it is then you know joy beyond all human understanding and true shalom peace in your spirit, soul, and body. For it is then you have truly become one spirit with Me.
But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17.
When you do what pleases Me in all you think, say and do it is then you know I am always with you to do for you, in you, and with you what you could not do. It is then you are set free from worry, anxiety, and the fear of men.
The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Psalm 118:6.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. what can man do to me? Psalm 56:4.
And now I will give you a definition of how one lives who has “fear of the LORD”:
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:4-9.
And that is the way to live a happy, fruitful, blessed life. Living with the goal of pleasing Me will give you days of Heaven on earth because that is what they are doing and enjoying forever in Heaven—pleasing Me as I please them. If you are willing and obey you will have the BEST of the land. The best part and it will not be taken away from you.
I love you. Choose the best part, choose Me. I have already chosen you.
