A calm and gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise makes knowledge acceptable, but the mouth of fools spouts folly. The eyes of the LORD are in every place, watching the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:1-3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Calm down, be very generous, and love much. Everything is all right. I am always working on your behalf but I am doing it from My rest and I invite you into My rest. How? Simple, cast your cares upon Me because I care for you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Refuse to worry, I have you in My hand. I am the LORD who looks head and provides. Yahavah Yireh. Your life of good deeds in Christ Jesus is all prepared in advance, you only have to walk it out with Me.
If you want a life of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, which is the flow of Heaven, you must learn how to rest in Me. To be an overcomer you must stay calm in the face of storms and trials, symptoms and contradictions. If you entrust your plans to Me, they will succeed in the way I direct.
I will remind you of things you need to do just at the right time, I will surface them in your soul or give you a nudge by something coming across your desk or in the mail. I will put you in the right place at just the right time without you even planning it. You will just suddenly go somewhere that ends up being a place of destiny without your even realizing you are being led.
Paul did not know that by deciding upon that trip to Damascus to capture and imprison believers who were walking in the Way of My Son that he would come face to face with My Son on the road there and that I had a disciple in Damascus ready to heal him, baptize him and fill him with the Holy Spirit. And that day began the life the was his true calling from his mother’s womb.
But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with [i]flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus. Galatians1:15-17.
Peter, the day he permitted Jesus to get in his boat and preach for several hours when he actually was getting ready to go home and take some sleep since he had been up all night, did not guess what I had in store for him that day! When he sighed deep within that Jesus asked him to go out and cast his cleaned net into what he saw as a useless exercise to catch fish when none had so much as gotten near his net all night that, he would never have thought he would bring in a catch like he had never seen and end the successful fishing trip by leaving his now prospering business and begin the most glorious adventure that he would never regret or turn back from.
The day Ruth went randomly to glean in a field of Bethlehem to feed herself and her widowed mother in law, she asked Me to show her favor. She did not even know she went to the field of the one who was her kinsman redeemer and future husband. She did not know that from her line, according to the flesh, would be born My Son into the earth. She did not know that her loving heart was causing Me to go to work on her behalf as planned from eternity. To her it just seemed random.
Behind you and before you, I encompass your life with the shield of My good will. I lead you forward and make a way where there looks like no way, I am at your side giving you strength and wisdom to continue on, and I am behind you as your rear guard so that you will never be ashamed.
Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean; go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who are the vessels of the LORD. But you will not go out in haste, nor will you go as fugitives; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:11-12.
When I am with you, who can be against you. I gave My Son for you, won’t I give you all things besides? I have given you everything you need for life and godliness—spiritual, physical, emotional, material, temporal and eternal. I know what you need before you ask Me and when a need comes, I have already taken care of it. But you will never know this or take advantage of it if you won’t cast you cares on Me and KNOW that I definitely will make it turn out perfect.
As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the LORD is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30.
If you will trust Me in every trial that arises and KNOW that I will take care of you then I can make your way successful, make you loved, and make you the master of every situation that arises in your life trying to take you down in worry and fear and make you lose your peace. Sin is crouching at your door, and that includes worry, agitation, and fear, but you can be its master. How? By knowing My care for you and that I am well able to perform all My promises.
in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. In hope against hope he believed, so that exist. In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness. Romans 4:17-22.
This is not surrender or submission, this is active participation in a partnership with Me in the fellowship of faith in one another. 1 Corinthians 1:9. I trust you and you trust Me. I know that I can show you things, remind you of things, and direct you in things and you will pick up those cues and run with them. And you know that in any problem or trial no matter how huge it appears or how impossible it seems or how potentially a cause for disturbance or disaster in your life, or even just humiliation in your job or school that I am there looking ahead to put all things into place to make you come out successful and safe, free from evil and exactly in the result you desire.
“Because he clings to Me in love, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With]long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation (Yeshuah).” Psalm 91:14-16.
You see the connection there between love being the relationship between us and all the rest follows. Love trusts and believes in the Beloved. When you get to that point of love and honor flowing between us, staying calm and answering others gently is not difficult.
Because you cling to Me in love in every trial and every storm of this life with perfect trust you will come through successfully to the other side. Clinging to Me in love simply means that you do not give up when things start to fall apart, stack up against you, and threaten your peace. You do not draw back from Me in unbelief, doubt and blame, but hold on to Me as hard as you can. You simply get hold of your emotions and lay them down to rest in your knowledge of the love I have for you and you call upon My Name as the LORD who sees ahead and provides and just know the provision to make all things work together for your good is there, and it was there since the foundation of the world. Like the dry path through the Red Sea. The perfect plateau was under the sea in just the right spot for My people to cross, but I did not open it up until they got to it and called upon Me. Not too early, not too late but right on time, the fullness of time.
The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He. Deuteronomy 32:4.
When everything turns upside down just when you thought things were going smoothly is not the time to blame others and jump ship. It is time to sink your heals in and simply say that you refuse to worry, fear, or back off in defeat that you KNOW in whom you have believed and I am well able to bring a mighty response that takes everything into the perfect flow of order and the chaos is gone.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18.
“Light be,” I spoke, and in a very dark chaotic place light was, and when the light came, life came, and when life came, beauty sprung forth from the earth.
Light is sown like seed for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart. Psalm 97:11.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, the devil never rests, but I deliver you out of them all if you will just rest in Me. There is no rest for the wicked, they are like the churning sea, and I call double mindedness and worry sinful, but for those who have their minds stayed on Me there is double shalom for I am your everlasting rock.
And with whom was He angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:17-19.
There is great joy and peace in believing, doubt and unbelief will give you a very dark night.
You can take control of your thoughts and your emotions by simply turning your gaze on Me and simply telling yourself, “Calm down, be very generous, and love much. Everything is all right. He has me covered.” And know that I am saying that to you and that everything is all right because I am with you to make sure that for you it will always turn out perfect.
I love you. When you begin to worry and say, “How is this all going to end?” The answer is simple: “In a miracle.” It happened for everyone who put their eyes on Jesus with faith. Remember Jairus? He refused to fear but only believed it would all turn out in salvation. And, of course, it did for Jesus was with Him and in Him is eternal life. And He is with you always, even now.
If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:18-19.
