I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Fear draws in that which you are fearing like a magnet. It is counterproductive because by fearing you bring in what you did not want to come! Cast out the fear and the dreaded result cannot come near. In any threatening or challenging situation the first thing you must address to triumph is that spirit of fear.
If you fear and run from a menacing dog, it will chase you and attack you. If instead you turn and rebuke and chase it, then it will flee. Indeed, it is enough to stamp your foot and say, “Get” in a commanding way and you will see it run for cover. But if it senses fear in you it will not go.
It is the same with the devil. Like any scam artist he tries to put you in fear so he can lead you around and steal everything in your house without even having to force his way in, fear will make you hand over everything in your house to the devil.
Fear is subject to your command. Most people think fear is not controllable although some manage it better than others but you must cast that unclean spirit of fear out of you and tell it to go back down under your feet to become more than a conqueror. And I have given you the means to become fearless and know what to do in any situation where fear arises. Fear can hit when there really is no cause for fear but it is an imagination of something pending that may never occur. That is a scam..
But before you can cast out fear with confidence you must be delivered from fear. How do you get delivered from fear, all fear? The same way you get every good thing and every perfect gift—from Me by My Word. Seek Me and I will deliver you from all fear. Suddenly, you will feel the chains fall off and you will know that you are free, that fear is no longer an issue. When My Word comes to your heart and lights up your faith the fear goes. You suddenly hear My voice saying that I love you and I am showing you favor.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Romans 8:31-34.
Many people point to the sufferings of Job and say I caused that and Job bore it from Me but that is not the case. I make it very clear that it was Satan who brought all those attacks against Job but not without reason. I had a hedge of protection around Job but Job opened up the way for Satan to come in to his territory by fear. Job feared his children were sinning in all the wine drinking parties they gave but he did not rebuke them for fear of offending them, instead he kept fearing that something terrible would befall them so he continually offered sacrifices for them. His fear was not based on anything concrete for there was no reason to say they were sinning at those festive occasions they had together but he was in fear and what he feared he opened the door to and invited in. And he acknowledged this without knowing that was the problem and the first thing he needed to deal with was not Me, not others, not even the harm, but the fear.
“For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, and I am not at rest, but turmoil comes.” Job 3:25-26.
Great peace, shalom, shalom, have those who have their minds set on Me, who trust Me as their everlasting rock. I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
In his dealings with Satan, Job blamed and fought against Me, attributing the evil to Me because of his belief in My sovereignty but what he did not understand was man’s dominion authority and that the attack he experienced was not of Me. In turning the blame on Me, he attacked the only one that could help him through the attack and restore to him all he had lost.
I explained this to Job, first by Elihu, and then Myself and how did Job respond? He covered his mouth and retracted what he had said about Me, he forgave and prayed for his critical friends, he stopped the fear, blame and bitterness and his prosperity flowed back in from Heaven in a double portion. And he never feared anything again. Why? He had a personal encounter with Me and he fell in love with who I am to him. He still is as he enjoys the Kingdom with Me.
Job said some very foolish things to Me. Do not quote him and be foolish too. I will share some with you so you do not repeat him and open yourself to attack by the devil and his unclean spirits under his control.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Job 1:21.
Job said this after Satan’s first major attack on his life and he sat back and let the devil get away with it saying it was Me that took from him. I give you everything, even My Kingdom, to you with pleasure, why would I take it back? I am not a thief. That is Jesus’ description of the devil. Be careful about linging My Spirit up with the unclean spirit. You know what Jesus had to say about that sin.
Once I give you something that is yours. I ask you to guard and keep it but it is yours to do with as you decide. I gave Adam the leasehold interest in the earth I had created and I did not take it back, even though he gave it to the devil, for I had legally given it to him. But when the leasehold expires I am taking back the fee simple with the breaking of the seven seals of the title deed and My Son will obtain title and give it to you who have followed Him. Remember the lease holders in the vineyard cast the Son out and killed Him because they knew He would inherit it all. But He rose from the dead and He is returning for the fee simple.
I own everything, even the cattle on a thousand hills are Mine. I have no lack or do I need to take things from you. I am your source. I am the source of all things and of life itself. You do not provide for Me. I provide for you. I will never leave you or forsake you. The devil will take from you for he is not a source, all that he has is stolen from Me and My people.
Yes, people like to piously quote Job that I take things away and they still bless Me, but they then don’t quote when I gave him double what he had when he got taken advantage of by the devil through acting under the unclean spirit of fear. Yes, I restored double what he had lost of better quality and quantity. He had been the richest man in the east when his trial begun and by coming back to Me and setting aside his fears he received the double portion promotion. But people just like to say I take but I only give. I am the God of unending supply and that is forever.
People also quote Job (make sure when you quote Bible verses and make a doctrine out of them you are quoting an instruction or insight I gave), piously saying that even if I slay them they will still trust Me (“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” Job 13:15) That may sound loyal but it is an insult in that you are again attributing what My Son describes as attributes of the devil to Me.
You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44.
You are calling Me a murderer, but I tell you that death is an enemy that I shall put under My Son’s feet, for He is the resurrection and the life, all are alive to Me. The wages of sin is death but My free gift to you is eternal life in My Son.
I put life and death before you and tell you to choose life that you and your descendants may live good days now and forever. Why, when it is My Will for you to choose life, would I give you death?
The devil threw Job in a pit and Job just kept digging it deeper by his words and self-righteousness. He never asked Me what the problem was that got him in that place and how he could fix it, he just blamed Me for not acting according to Job’s great righteousness. He made it all My fault. Adam did the same thing when he sinned.
If I am with you nothing and no one can prevail against you, but how do you have Me with you? You walk with Me but two cannot walk together unless they agree. You must know and believe in the love I have for you, My willingness to help you and solve all your problems, and that I will work all things together for your good.
The first thing you must go after in any situation is the spirit of fear. David addressed this by encouraging himself in My Word by reminding himself of what I had done for him in times of distress in the past, such as fighting the lion and the bear to rescue his sheep. And it was he who composed Psalm 103 in which he keeps in mind all the benefits that were his as a member of the people who had made Covenant with Me. Being mindful of the Covenant sustained him and made him sing for joy and invite others to do so as well. And the more he sang and praised the stronger He became.
And that is again where the voice of thanksgiving brings wonders it causes all fear to cease and pushes back and annihilates the enemy.
When Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into jail at Philippi for casting out demons and preaching the Gospel, what did they do? Cower in fear of death and imprisonment that might keep them locked up for years? No, they refused to fear because they knew the key of David and the secret of thanksgiving. It was Paul who received the message from My Spirit that My will for you in Christ Jesus is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks and that was just what he did. And the result? A wonder. It set them all free, as the truth always does. All the chains fell off and the gates swung open and the jailer and all the prisoners got saved. The church at Philippi was born that night.
Are you in a problem now that is causing you to fear. Let us cast that unclean spirit of fear out right now, for you are not to accept gifts I have not given you and I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a strong mind.
