“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” Isaiah 43:1-3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Many people today have a spirit of fear and they are searching for a safe place to be. There really is no safe place but one—the safest place to be is in the center of My Will for your life. And if you are, you can be thrown into a lions’ den filled with hungry lions, a raging sea, a fiery furnace, a prison cell, or be pursued by an entire army and you will come out unscratched and filled with joyful song. I am your hiding place till harm pass by. I surround you with songs of deliverance. I lead you out to a wide and open space. A wealthy place. Green pastures and waters of peace.
You probably know what I am talking about. Daniel always walked in My perfect Will and he was safe even in a den of hungry lions for an entire night. And his three friends were quite safe in the midst of a fiery furnace because they were walking with Me. I went right in with them and protected them from even smelling like smoke. Paul walked with Me in My Will for his life and he was safe chained in a dark prison cell and on the raging sea in the worst storm he had ever experienced. Peter also walked with Me in My Will for his life and he was safe from Herod even though Herod had him chained in prison to execute him the next day.
All of the above were not only safe in perilous and impossible situations, but all of them were miraculously led out to freedom by Me or the angels I sent to rescue them from all their enemies had planned against them. And whereas scheming and evil minded people put My servant Joseph through slavery and prison, I walked him out right into the palace as ruler second only in command to Pharaoh in Egypt. As David put it, I caused him to look down triumphantly on his enemies. I am your glory and the lifter of your head. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue raised against you shall be silenced.
So how do you walk with Me in My perfect Will for your life? Easy. One day at a time. Be alert each day for your assignment. Be led. Led by My Holy Spirit in you. Your life is made up of days, and your full life is the length of days. And each day your good Shepherd will lead you if you listen for His voice. It may be as simple as encouraging a friend who is close to giving up or stopping by your neighbor’s apartment who you noticed had been injured to ask if you can go shopping for her or take out her trash or it could be something more demanding such as running for political office and becoming the president of the nation. David went from watching his father’s small flock of sheep on the hillsides of Bethlehem to ruling a nation, but there were many days filled with little things and big things that led to that. There were many dies that he spent hiding in dark caves. And Joseph did not start in the palace, but by being thrown into a pit and sold by his brothers. And between the pit and the palace were many ordinary and extraordinary days. But he had to live each one in walking with Me to reach the place I wanted him to end up after many days.
Live each day aware of My presence. See My Will in little things that cross your path. You are not there by chance but by divine design. But do not miss what I have sent you, scorning it as too small or as a waste of time. Ruth just followed love and service never thinking that it would lead to a life that would have seemed an impossible dream when she set out on the road to Bethlehem with bitter Naomi. But after living many days of drudgery and poverty she ended up a happy wife and mother with the most desirable bachelor in Bethlehem as her husband who loved her and was good to her. And she did not know the extent of her days for she did not know that one of her descendants according to the flesh would be My Son made man. Her length of days continued down the generations. But she just walked one day at a time trying to please Me and those around her in humble service.
And Abraham just walked each day with Me not even knowing where he was going. But he died satisfied and full of days. He did no great inventions and wrote no learned treatises but he just walked each day with Me and had a heart filled with hospitality and faith in Me. And I call him My friend.
You all must live one day at a time. Morning comes and evening follows, the first day. And so the second day, and the third day, but suddenly eighty years have passed and your life is the sum of how you lived each day. Length of days.
The best way to spend your day, no matter what your job is or where you go, is with Me. When you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you. I am always there with you and will never leave you or forsake you. And I speak to you. And I guide you.
A good place to start is to immediately engage Me when you awake. Greet Me and proclaim Me your healer, provider, shelter, rock of refuge, Shepherd, guide, teacher, friend and Father. Thank Me for forgiving all you have done wrong or when you detoured from My path by putting all your sins and iniquities on My Son. If you have defied My Will in the past, thank Me for giving you, like Jonah, a second chance and that this time I have made it even better than what you missed before. Sing a song of praise. Give a shout of joy. Change the atmosphere from darkness to light. Awake the dawn with your song. And pray for others as I ask you too- for government officials, for believers and unbelievers that all may be saved and come to know the truth. Pray for My Kingdom to come and My Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Pray for the Jewish people to take Jesus as their Lord. And pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Look for ways to bring others to know Me and My Son so they too can live the life that is life indeed.
And rejoice in My love and salvation, in My forgiveness and care. Rejoice always in the beauty of the world I made for you and the love of your God who gave His Son for you. Won’t I give you all things besides with Him?
And pray without ceasing. Stay in touch with Me all day. Include Me in your conversation and be aware of My presence. Be quick to repent when you have fallen for that will happen at times, both Peter and David did but they repented and returned to My perfect Will for their lives.
And give thanks at all times, for every assignment I send you and for your life. Be thankful too for all the friends I send to help and nurture you. I will always take care of those who are Mine. And if you have taken Jesus as Lord you are Mine forever. And I will take care of you richly.
Do not worry. If your heart is towards Me, I am taking care of leading you day by day in My perfect Will for your life.
Paul wrote thus under the power of the Holy Spirit: “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-3. And again: “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.” Ephesians 5:15.
The safest place to be is in the shield of My Will each day, day by day. And your path will become brighter and brighter until it reaches perfect day. My Day, the Day of the LORD, when My Son returns and eternal life begins and it is length of days forever and ever. What a glorious Day that will be, especially for those who walked with Me, trying to please Me in every word and thought they had each day, seeking ways to serve Me, remembering My benefits and thanking Me for each one as they looked for their assignments for each day.
