Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, “cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I have told you many times in My Word that I never leave you, fail you, or forsake you. My Son has told you that He is with you always. We sent you a Helper to be with you and in you forever. And He is the Spirit of Truth who will lead you, teach you all things, guide you to all truth, tell you what to say, and tell you of the things to come.
I love you, have made an everlasting covenant with you, and I am faithful to you.
I have told you that I am the LORD your healer, that I provide for all your needs when you seek My Kingdom first, that I am your deliverer, that I give you wisdom when you ask in faith, that I am an ever present help in time of trouble, that I answer when you call, and that My plans for you are for your prosperity and welfare and not for your woe and disaster, for a future filled with hope.
My Son told you that if you love Him and keep His Words that I will love you and we will come to you and make our dwelling with you.
Why then do you fret, worry, and fear like I am not there to take care of you?
My Word is truth and I watch over My Word to perform it. When I tell you I am with you and will never leave, fail, or forsake you, you can count on that. You can rest secure in that. For if I am with you, nothing and no one can triumph against you.
If you believe in Me and trust Me then you will not allow yourself to think or speak in a way contrary to what I have told you. Instead of saying, “God, where are you?” and “I feel so alone and afraid,” you will say “God, thank you for being with Me, I know you never fail, leave or forsake Me. I know that you heal, lead, provide for, and guide me and that you will show me what to do and supply all my needs. Thank you for taking care of me. I will not fear or worry about this for I cast all my cares on you and know you will show me the way out and make all things work together for my good.” You have returned My Word to Me and it will not return void. It will bear the fruit in your life that I sent it for. I watch over My Word to perform it as you return it to Me.
Do not worry about what you are to eat, drink, or wear. Be anxious for nothing. Rest assured that I am there with you, encircling you with My protection, provision, and comfort, and that My banner over you is love. Know that I am taking care of you. Know that I have you covered. Know that you are surrounded by the shield of My good will. Know that I have good things planned for your day. Know that I have only your best interests at heart and My plans for you are good—for your welfare, prosperity and peace. That I have a life of good deeds prepared for you that give you a future filled with hope. Know that I will not harm you but will protect and bless you if you but come to Me and rest in My love.
Know that you can lean on Me all the time, day and night. I never slumber or sleep. My eyes are always upon you and I hold you in My Hand.
Come to Me and I will make your bitter sweet. Let Me show you how.
In the great famine at the time of Joseph I sent My people to Egypt and gave them great favor there. They grew numerous in their prosperity and after many years they no longer served or knew Me. At that time a Pharaoh came to power that knew not Joseph and the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites and worked them ruthlessly. They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly as slaves. Exodus 1:1-14.
My people who had once been treated like royalty, now knew a hard and bitter life. But at that point they remembered Me and they cried out to Me. And I came down to make their bitter sweet.
I redeemed them from slavery and brought them out of Egypt to the freedom and abundance of the Promised Land.
And how did I free them and make their life sweet? By the Blood of the spotless Passover Lamb. I freed them the night they put the blood of the lamb over their homes and partook of its flesh.
And then in the desert on their way out of Egypt to the Promised Land do you recall when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter? Bitter water. Are you drinking bitter water in your soul? So the people grumbled at Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” Then Moses cried out to Me and I showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. Exodus 15:25.
A tree made the bitter sweet.
And then I told them if they were careful to keep My Word, to remain in My Word and let it remain in them, I would not permit any of the diseases and ills to come upon them that had come upon the Egyptians. For I am the Lord your healer. Exodus 15:26.
Now let Me tell you what will make your bitter sweet. No matter what has poisoned your life with bitterness, no matter what is oppressing you into the bondage of slavery, no matter what your past or present situation was and is, you can make it sweet by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus’ death on the Cross, and the Word of your testimony.
That is how I changed the life of the Israelites from one of bitter slavery to one of victory and abundance in a Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. My Word is sweet and it brings sweetness and light.
A bitter life is not under My blessing but under the curse, but Christ redeemed you from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for you—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to everyone, so that all could receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.
And that is the tree that makes your bitter water sweet. By His sufferings and death on the cross, Jesus has obtained for you the Blessing that makes you rich and adds no sorrow with it. He has sacrificed His life to bring you life, abundant life. He sets you free from the slavery of sin and death to the glorious freedom of My children. In Him you find all sweetness—in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And in Him you have grace and favor that will give you the life that is life indeed. In Him you have eternal life and a joy no one can take from you.
And you overcome the devil and all evil by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. Just as the Blood of the Lamb and keeping My Word gave the Israelites freedom and healing, how much more does the Blood of My Son, My Word made flesh, cleanse you from all unrighteousness and bring you out of bondage to freedom and healing!
In Jesus I have given you the gift that will make your bitter life sweet. He will refresh you and take away your burden and your heavy yoke, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. To have Him with you is sweet. I send a little child to lead you and to fill your life with the light of His love, which is also My love for you.
I tell you these things that you may share My joy and your joy may be complete. All the bitter dissolves and is made sweet once My Word sweetens your life and, combined with the Blood of My Son shed for you on the tree of the Cross, gives you victory over sin and death.
Begin today to keep My Word. Let it remain in you and you remain in it. No matter where you are, begin to declare and do My Word. Refuse any thought or word to the contrary. Take My Son as your Lord and cover yourself in the Blood of Jesus and know you are forgiven and redeemed from the curse by the crucifixion of My Son.
I am with you. My Son is with you. The Holy Spirit is with you and in you. You can rest assured that you are never alone and that I hear you the minute you cry. Ask and you shall receive. But you must ask and if you are not aware that I am with you, you will not ask Me to help you and give you good gifts. Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full.
Next time you are faced with a problem, remember that I am with you and turn to Me immediately for help. Come with confidence to My throne of grace to receive help and grace just when you need it. And you shall have it. My Son is there at My right hand interceding for you and offering His Blood on the Mercy Seat to take away all your sin.
You will find that I will make your bitter sweet and your burden light if you but turn to Me at all times, knowing that I am with you—that I am there for you to deliver, bless, protect and direct you if you will just look to Me.

When you need help, comfort, love, provision, healing—just call Me and ask Me for the good you need for yourself and others. I am there with you, an ever present help in time of trouble.
