Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Roots. People seek to know their roots. They are typically seeking to understand their family history, ethnic background, and personal identity, often aiming to gain a deeper sense of belonging. But I do not tell you to seek your roots in the sense of looking back but where to plant your roots in the sense of going forward. However, where I direct you to plant them is back in the source from which you came that Adam pulled your roots out of to plant them in a different place. And so began all mental, emotional, and physical problems, in fact, death itself, for the human race. It came simply from uprooting from your source to an unfruitful place.

Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8.

When I made the plants, I spoke to the earth (dirt) and they came forth, and it is in the dirt that they must be rooted and grounded or they cannot survive. When I made the fish, I spoke to the sea and they came forth, and they must stay in the sea or they will perish. When I made mankind I spoke to Myself and you came forth from Me. And the same is true, you must stay attached, rooted, grounded in Me or you cannot thrive and stay alive. Unless you repent (return), you will all likewise perish. You belong in and with Me for in Me alone do you live, breath, and have your being.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. John 15:4-6.

If you try to live your life without Me, you will always be incomplete, seeking for something more and trying to fill it with all the wrong things.

Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. Psalm 62:5.

Are you seeking to put down your roots, to plant yourself in the right place, that is, in fruitful soil where you can draw up everything you need for life and godliness? I have already told you what that perfect place is where you will put your roots downward and bear fruit upwards, and the deeper you put down your roots, the more fruit you will produce.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 26-7.

In Him you are complete. He has made you perfect for all time and eternity, in Him alone have you come home and found your destiny. You have found your past, your present and your future in Him alone. I am, I was, and I am to come and I have sealed you who have received Jesus in Him.

For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. Colossians 2:9-10.

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 10:14.

Jesus and I are One and who am I? I am love. Love is your source and supply. You must be rooted and grounded in love to be complete, to live and thrive. A baby that is otherwise healthy will withdraw, wither up and die, if that baby is neglected and experiences no love in the arms of a parent or other adult. My arms are open wide to you and I stretch out My hands to you all the day, for even if a mother should forget her infant or have no tenderness for the child of her womb, I will never forget you, I will never be without tenderness for you. You are Mine, I planned you, I made you, I saved you, I forgave you, I blessed you, I favored you, and I will continue to do that forever if you will just come to Me with an open heart to receive. No one who comes will I ever reject.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:14-19.

And in Jesus, you as living stones being built up together in Christ with Him as your cornerstone, are being built into a dwelling place of the Spirit, a holy temple of prayer and praise in My marvelous light. Plant yourself there in My courts and bear much fruit.

The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:12-15.

And how do you plant yourself there? By meditating day and night on My Word. That plants the seed and cultivates its growth.

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3.

What does it mean to be rooted and grounded in Christ? It means that no matter what tactic the devil brings against you whether it be physical, mental, or emotional, he cannot make you budge off My Word into doubt and unbelief. It means that you will always have the victory in Christ Jesus and that you will always know the right thing to do at the right time. It means that you will discern when opportunity comes to bring prosperity, healing, and the blessing and you will take that opportunity. It means you will go back to your roots and receive again the Blessing empowering you to bear much fruit and to take back the earth and take your dominion over it to turn it into the Garden of Eden it was meant to be.

It makes a huge difference in your life where you are planted, whether it is in the kingdom of darkness or the Kingdom of light. The choice is yours but I advise you to choose the Kingdom of light because I have gone to great lengths to rescue you from the kingdom of darkness and bring you into My own marvelous light. Let Me plant you in My house forever.

So that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:10-14.

I love you. Never forget where your roots belong to thrive and you will always be growing in the right place.
