Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:18-19.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is My lovingkindness toward those who fear Me, as far as the east is from the west so far have I removed your transgressions from you. Just as a father has compassion on his children so I have compassion on those who fear Me.
What is the fear of Me?
The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death. Proverbs 14:27.
I tell you not to fear your enemies, not to worry, that I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. I tell you not to let your heart be troubled or afraid. I tell you not to live in fear because I am pleased to give you the Kingdom. But I tell you again and again that if you want a long happy healthy life filled with good days, deliverance from all evil, and My power to keep you from all lack or attack, that the “fear of the LORD” is the beginning of all wisdom for a life filled with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The reward of humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, honor, and life. Proverbs 22:4.
The “fear of the LORD” is a heart that is tender to Me.
Praise the LORD! How blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments. Psalm 112:1.
A heart determined to keep My Word in season and out of season and not afraid of losing popularity, worldly promotion, or the favor of ungodly men.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverted mouth, I hate. Proverbs 8:13.
It is the desire to please Me no matter what you feel at the moment, that is, to do My Word at all costs, even if you were threatened with being thrown in a lions’ den if you did not deny Me. But if you will notice I kept the lions’ mouths shut all night for the one, Daniel, who feared losing his fellowship with Me but had no fear of what men could do to him, I kept him.
Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:18-19.
My eyes roam to and fro across the earth looking for hearts that are towards Me, that are tender towards Me, to show Myself strong on their behalf.
The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. Psalm 25:14.
The entrance of My Word gives light. Have you noticed how you can be in a dark place in your life and suddenly you read a line in the Bible or, if you are familiar with My Word through reading and hearing it, the Holy Spirit in you will bring to your remembrance, quicken in your spirit, the scripture you need to bring light into that darkness and you have a knowing of just what that scripture is revealing to you. Suddenly you have blessed assurance of the result and My joy hits you with so much force it leaves you breathless in wonder as tears of awe well up from your heart into your shining eyes.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10.
But to receive that light you must not be blinded by the devil and shut out My Word. How do you get blinded to the true light that is in My Word? By letting the darkness in by sin is a lack of reverence for Me, a lack of fear of the LORD. I do not mean fear I will punish you if you sin, but fear of breaking off the fellowship so you cannot receive the light that leads you to paradise even on earth. The power of knowing the answer that works the good you want in your life. A stone cold heart to Me has no tenderness for My Word and no fear of offending Me at all.
Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes. Psalm 36:1.
In fact, they test Me and jeer at Me and question My actions, blaming Me for evil I did not do, and there is no fear of Me in their lives at all. I am speaking of a desire to please Me and a thankful reverence for the life I give you and the for My lovingkindness towards you. Blinded, they do not see goodness but evil, no light, only darkness.
The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God . . . For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:4,6.
The “fear of the LORD” is keeping the darkness out of your heart, soul, and mind. It is keeping sin out and letting the light of My love shine in to flood out the darkness and sin. Simply put, it is always walking in the light of My Word. When you are walking with Me in the light, the blood of My Son continually cleanses you.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.
When you truly would rather die than sin because you love Me and My goodness to you so much that you never want to betray Me or lose My trust in you, then your heart is at the highest peak of love for Me that you can reach in this life. And that is true fear of the LORD, the desire to be with Me and please Me forever because I am so desirable to you. I am love. I am light. With Me is the place of all delight. Do you know Me that way? If you do, you fear Me, in other words you desire good days filled with joy.
You were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light, for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. Ephesians 5:9-12.
I am teaching you the true “fear of the LORD,” which is pure joy and brings good, deliverance, and My keeping power around your life. It is complete openness between us where you need not hide anything from Me for your heart is towards Me above everything else. It brings My good will, My favor and My lovingkindness. THE FEAR OF THE LORD DELIVERS YOU FROM ALL OTHER FEARS.
I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. Psalm 34:4-7.
When you seek Me, your heart is tender towards Me, and in My refuge, hidden in Christ in Me, you are delivered out of all fear of anything evil or harmful, even of death itself, which has no power over you who are in Christ who is the resurrection and the life, and it is there you taste My goodness, My lovingkindness towards you who fear Me.
O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10.
For those who fear Me, there is no want. They know Me, they hear My voice, they follow Me and are in My hand. There is no snatching out of My hand. It is My hand that feeds you, heals you, and molds you anew. Seeking My lovingkindness assures you of receiving it.
Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34:11-15.
And there I have provided you with instruction on what it means to fear the LORD. It means you desire the abundant life filled with good days and the way you have it is by keeping your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. You depart from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it. These things make your life pleasant and pure.
How shall I describe one who fears Me? A mind filled with My Word with the intent to work diligently in keeping therewith to bring the beauty of My Kingdom to earth in partnership with Me, a heart to serve and not be served, and a willing Will to submit all to Me, for when you submit to My Word (agreeing with My good promises to you, such as forgiveness of all your sins, healing of all your disease and pain, prosperity, and freedom from the curse of the law of sin and death) and resist the devil with My Word (answer his lies with the truth of My Word and cast him out in the Name of Jesus), he MUST flee from you. And that will give you good days.
The LORD made a covenant and commanded them, saying, “You shall not fear other gods, nor bow down yourselves to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them. But the LORD, who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, and to Him you shall bow yourselves down, and to Him you shall sacrifice. The statutes and the ordinances and the law and the commandment which He wrote for you, you shall observe to do forever; and you shall not fear other gods. The covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods. But the LORD your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.” 2 Kings 17:35-39.
You have nothing to fear when you fear Me.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. Psalm 34:7.
I love you and desire to give you a long satisfying life filled with good days. And now you know how to have it:
The fear of the LORD leads to life, so that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil. Proverbs 19:23.
The fear of the LORD prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened. Proverbs 10:27.
By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one keeps away from evil. Proverbs 16:6.
