In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He show you the right path to take. Proverbs 3:6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
There is a difference between facts and the truth. Facts are temporal and change, truth is eternal and never changes. Most people only look at facts and circumstances and stay there trying to struggle through them as best they can cope with the facts. But what they are missing is the higher realm, which is the truth, that if you bring in the truth it will change the facts to line up with the truth. Put your mind above where Christ is seated at My right hand and not just on what is below.
It is a fact most likely that you have sinned. But that is not the end so that you must be under condemnation and shame the rest of your life and be uncertain about eternal life. The truth is you are forgiven by the blood of Jesus. He took your sins as His own and was punished for them. In Him, it is no longer accounted to you. He took your sins and gave you His righteousness. With the truth you can be free of condemnation and shame and you can go forward with joy knowing you have the Kingdom.
The one who puts his hand to the plow and keeps looking back (at the facts) is not fit for the reign of God (must walk in the truth of the Word to be successful).
The fact may be you are sick with a disease that has been diagnosed as such. But the truth is that by the stripes of Jesus you are and were healed. You are redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death in Him. I am the LORD your healer who heals all your ills. With the truth you can drive out the sickness and be healed. What is impossible to men (facts) is possible with Me (truth).
The facts can be that war and destruction, plagues and terror, is around you and thousands have given in to it, but the truth is in Psalm 91, it will not come near you if you are abiding in Me. And this has been proved again and again. Just consider Noah, everyone went down but him and his household, his eyes merely beheld the downfall of the wicked but it did not touch him. Consider David, in so many battles and never got even a scratch.
Faith is calling in those things that are the truth but are not yet the facts as though they are the facts and the truth will change the facts to line up with the truth.
The facts could be you cannot pay your bills this month or finance a Kingdom project, but the truth is I am your shepherd and you shall not want. I have prepared what you need ahead of time if you just show up with faith and receive My answers of what to do. But with finances there are certain things you must be doing, such as tithing and looking for ways of working with Me so I can prosper your work.
Therefore do no lose heart for no matter what the facts are, because you know the truth in My Word, the truth can change the facts if you call it in. Cover the fact with the truth and stay at peace.
Faith is not denying the facts, it is acknowledging the facts but if they do not line up with the truth of My Word (the plumb line) it is speaking the truth to change them to line up.
A good description of faith is found in 1 Corinthians 4:18: “while we look not at the things which are seen (facts and circumstances), but at the things which are not seen (the truth of God’s Word); for the things which are seen (facts) are temporal, but the things which are not seen (truth) are eternal.”
Walk by faith (truth) and not by sight (facts). By faith line up the facts with the truth.
When the centurion told Jesus, “just say the Word and my boy will be healed,” Jesus called that great faith. Why? He was lining up the facts with the truth by speaking the truth over them. The Word of truth will prevail over facts that do not line up with it.
The heavens (first and second) and earth will pass away but My words will never pass away. Luke 21:33. The truth is eternal.
Lazarus died, that was a fact, but Jesus is the resurrection and the life, that is the truth.
It all comes down to where you are putting your attention. Are you putting your attention on the facts or on the truth? Emotions go with the facts. That is why people get hysterical in threatening situations and facts. But peace goes with the truth. Knowing the truth in any given factual situation will keep you secure, consistent, and steady. Like Psalm 91, you will not fear the plague or the arrow. When your attention is anchored on truth (the anchor behind the veil) and not the facts you are steady. It is the house built on the solid rock foundation that a storm cannot budge.
There is a truth in My Word that will change every and any fact you will ever face. When your attention is on what does not change, you do not change either. You are not coping with or trying to medicate your out of control mind, you have taken control by the truth that has set you free.
When trouble strikes, and it will in this life over and over as long as the devil is roaming about, but he can do nothing to you without your permission, notice first the truth that will change (deal with) that fact. Do not address the fact until you have the truth. First go to My Word, then take care of the facts. You have to change the momentum by what you set in motion. Submit to My Word, resist the devil and he must flee from you.
My Word is truth and the fact can change. If you delay applying the truth you will delay the change. Facts will not go away in this world as it is now but you know what to do with them. The less you concentrate your attention on the fact and put it more on the truth that trumps it the easier the truth flows in to change the situation.
Life is a struggle if each new fact that occurs knocks you over and you concentrate on the fact and put your attention primarily on it. Life is not a struggle if the truth is what you keep your attention fixed upon, then the result that is in the truth will manifest from the spirit to the flesh.
If you fellowship with, that is, keep thinking and thinking about the facts and how disappointed, angry, offended, depressed or fearful you are about them, you are giving up fellowship with Me. And I have the truth you need to know to make your paths the correct ones.
If you keep talking out the offense, the problem, the abuse, the facts of the past, even if they are horrible, you will never get free of them but will keep coping with them the rest of your life. Why? Every time you talk it out you let it back in and update it to the present. And the demon can enter again as he did then to trouble and torment you and take your joy and peace.
Do not talk them out but clear them out with My Word, My Word is a cleansing agent.
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. John15:3.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27.
People who have a poor self-image are allowing themselves to see themselves the wrong way. It is a matter of changing the focus of their attention from their faults (facts) to who they are in Christ (truth). And when they know the truth, the facts must line up and their whole appearance and speech will change. Look to Me and be radiant and your face with not blush with shame.
Check your faith. If you think on and speak mostly facts you have little truth and little faith. If you speak much truth and little facts you have much faith. The skill of faith is in any given situation changing your attention from the facts to the truth, that is, if the facts are not in line with the truth.
You cannot get away from troubling facts as long as you are in the earth. You have probably noticed when you have just solved one problem, another one pops up. But there is a way to stay in peace in all this, and that is to conquer that by attention on the truth. Facts put you into fear, sorrow, depression but truth can raise you out of all that to faith, joy, hope, and peace. The truth of the Word that you want to manifest is what you must keep your attention on and off the storm. And then as you speak the truth and rebuke what is contrary, watch it calm down and get in line. Like when Jesus addressed the wind and the waves. He did not scream at them. He stayed firm and calm. I had showed Him to go to the other side and release the demon possessed man so he had no fear the storm would stop Him. Truth trumps the facts.
Proverbs 3:5-6 holds a teaching you need to know: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct you on the right (Yashar (יָשַׁר): to be straight, right, upright, pleasing, prosperous, pleasant, moral and ethical) path.
“In all your ways,” that is, when you encounter facts and circumstances that escalate and are out of line with My Word, ACKNOWLEDGE Me. And I am My Word. You cannot separate Me from My Word. You acknowledge Me by acknowledging My Word. So in ALL your ways—getting bills paid, getting healed, answering difficult people, situations of abuse and offense—acknowledge Me and I will direct your paths in the upright, prosperous, pleasant, moral, and ethical way. What you acknowledge (put your attention on) will direct your life.
If in a problem you turn your back on Me by accusing Me of the facts of what has taken place, I cannot direct you for I have no entrance. If you turn your face to Me, if you seek My face, you have given Me entrance and authority to direct you in the right way to solve what has taken place.
The facts can direct your actions or the truth can direct your actions. The choice is in what you put your attention upon.
Facts will pressure and push you to respond by emotions, which is acknowledging the wrong thing for direction. Emotions will never solve things in a perfect way. The anger of a man does not achieve My righteousness. Stop the pressure by answering with the truth of My Word. Do not entertain the facts until they have pushed you too far. Do not give the devil that place in you. Trump it with the truth and you have the authority over his tactics. A miracle is as easy as a shift in your attention. David put His attention on Me and the covenant he had with Me, the other soldiers put their attention on Goliath and ran in fear. David trumped the facts with the truth and down went the facts to line up with the truth.
It is not your job to get rid of thoughts, but to replace them. My Word will clean out your wrong thoughts. Pour in the Word and watch the fear go. The wrong route is to keep talking out the facts, such as abuse, offense, what the person said to you, this will only update it and bring it back into your life. The right route is to clean it out by replacing it with My Words.
I am not telling you to make light of evil and abuse, I tell you to hate evil, but if you keep speaking it out you will have to cope with it the rest of your life for you will keep updating it and brining the same demons back in. You do not need drugs or alcohol to deaden the memories, do what I tell you to do, put your attention on My Words, incline your hear to My sayings, keep them before your eyes, hear and speak them constantly, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Guard your heart for from it flow the issues of life. How do you guard it? By where you put your attention and what you acknowledge.
What happened to you or through you in the past is a fact but the truth is that I have brought you out of that to a wide and open space and forgetting what lies behind you can go forward to your high calling in Christ like a newborn baby on the pure milk of My Word that you may grow thereby. And you do not have to do this on your own, it is not you who take care of Me, I take care of you. I will work in you to will and to do, you just have to walk it out.
Facts want to direct your life but if you will acknowledge Me (and I am My Word) in all your ways I can direct your life. I am present as your helper, both within and without. What you acknowledge is what you are inviting into your facts.
I love you. That is why I have told you where to put your attention: on My Words. The truth can trump any fact that is contrary to it. And that will set you free of troubling thoughts and things of the past, present, and future.
My son, give attention to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Proverbs 4:20-22.
