So that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own Kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Wise people apportion their time to holy things rather than frivolous pursuits.

What are holy things? Sanctified activities. It is touching the sacred rather than the profane.

Things that are holy are beautiful. They are glorious. Just look at the majestic mountain peaks, hills, sunlit valleys, fields of wild flowers, rainbows, starry night skies, sunsets, sunrises, shade trees, blossoming fruit trees, waterfalls, ocean views, fields of grain, blue skies and white clouds soaring above—the many and varied things I have made that people travel the world to see in awe and wonder and you will see what holiness makes.

“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.” Isaiah 6:3.

Making your day holy is redeeming the time. Time is precious and must be treated with the utmost care for holy living.

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, redeeming and making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Ephesians 5:15-20.

Holy living is doing everything, whether it be eating, drinking, working, studying, running errands, in other words, all the intricacies of being alive in the world as it is now, unto Me and thus making it beautiful.

For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation (Yeshuah). Psalm 149:4.

In Jesus I make you beautiful, holy, righteous, and blameless before Me.

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation (Yeshuah), He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness. Isaiah 61:10.

Holy activities have to do with fixing your attention on Me as you abide in Me in all your your busyness, sanctifying and setting it apart as precious and holy. It means shining in your work and doing what you do with the pure intention of being a blessing to Me and to others, which will turn back to bless you beyond measure. It is living to the uttermost.

A person apportioning their time to holy things will not be a glutton, a gossip, an exaggerator, rude, obscene, or a repeater of mean or offensive words. And most certainly cannot be a complainer and qualify.

One way to keep your whole day and night holy is simply to rejoice in Me always by applying My appropriate Covenant promise names to any problem that arises and thus taking it down, to pray without ceasing (constant fellowship so you can receive direction, correction, protection, and perfection), and to render constant thanks for all My benefits that are freely bestowed on you in Christ Jesus your Lord.

Write, witness, read, glorify, prophesy, edify, exhort and encourage during your day and you will not be unfruitful but quite the opposite. Do everything with one eye on Me and one eye on the world. Holy living brings Heaven’s glory to the earth and wonders will happen to manifest My goodness, presence, and power, which is the manifestation of My glory.

Let your light shine before men so they may see goodness in your actions and give praise to My glory. If you are living a holy life, you will be showing Me to the world, just as Jesus did. In seeing Him you saw Me. Do people see that glory in you? I am there in you by My Spirit. It should shine forth. You are the salt and light everyone is seeking.

What are frivolous pursuits? FRIVOLOUS PURSUITS ARE THINGS THAT HAVE NO ETERNAL VALUE. You would be wise to avoid these for they are taking up your days and nights and are doing nothing positive for you or others. Avoid them and people who do them. Gossiping, flirting, judging, anger fits, depression, lies, rude speech, and expressing negative opinions about others, even those you do not know but are in the public eye, such as government leaders and other politicians are all frivolous pursuits. Many television talk shows or news broadcasts are just people who have no authority expressing their opinions about people who do have authority, which is idle and accomplishes nothing besides creating disrespect for those in positions of authority which goes against My Word. I tell you to respect those in authority and to pray for them, not to criticize and complain about them like you are their superior, which does nothing good. Even though Saul unjustly chased David to kill him for thirteen years, David never harmed him or spoke evil of him even though he had a number of opportunities to do so. Why? He respected the office of king and the anointing that had placed him there.

Giving your negative and judgmental opinions of others feeds the pride of the one doing the criticizing and that is not wise, I resist the proud because they resist Me and give grace to the humble, who have opened their hearts to direction and correction. Find a judgmental criticizer and you have found a proud person of whom you would be wise to avoid least you fall into their ways.

Anything that is not born of pure love is a frivolous pursuit. Do not waste your precious time on it.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3.

What does pure love look like? Me. I am all about you. I seek above all that you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers by walking in the truth of My Word, which sets you free. Pure love sets you free to be wonderful like Me for you are in My image and likeness. All I do is love for I am pure unadulterated love and so are you. You were created by love, for love, with love, and to be love. Love gives you joy all the day. For:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails or falls short. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

Love is eternal and so are all works born from pure love.

Take a good look at that list of what love is and see if that list describes your life. If not, it may be time to prioritize and redeem your time, in other words, rescue your day from frivolous pursuits that eat up your precious time and have no eternal value, but in fact, are harmful and cause unhappiness in those you speak with. Being rude is not right no matter how much the other person has exasperated you. It cost Moses his entrance into the Promised Land. Selah.

But the crown of it all is that Jesus Himself, My Word among you, sums up the sanctified life: You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. Mark 12:30.

Love Me with all your heart (spirit), with all your soul (mind, will, and emotions), with all your mind (thoughts) and with all your strength (your will and your body). This will be glorifying Me with your life.

That is the first and greatest commandment. You seek Me first and all is added to you that you will ever have need of or desire. And the second is like it: “The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Mark 12:31.

And Jesus made it new for you, His disciples, to love one another as He loved you. He came to serve and not to be served, to lay down His life for you.

I love you and love says it all.
