Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Do you know what pleases Me most of all you can do? Fellowship with Me. That should not surprise you if you have read what happened at the home of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus when Jesus stopped by at their home to visit them. Martha, who was hospitable ran to the kitchen to fix a nice meal, but Jesus had a teaching to bless them with and Mary sat among the disciples at Jesus’ feet and listened to Him in fellowship. Martha became anxious and upset that she could not get the meal prepared for so many without help and stopped Jesus in His conversation with the disciples to tell Him to command her sister to help her in the kitchen with the many preparations.
Jesus did not do that, instead He told her a lesson she never forgot and practiced to her joy from then on. And you all need to learn it from the least to the greatest for it will make your life flow with no anxiety at all and My Son called it the thing necessary to have all things. And it is simple, it is to listen to My Word in which you will get to know Me, the one true God, and the One I sent to reconcile you to Myself, Jesus Christ. And as Jesus prayed to Me for your edification at the Last Supper, eternal life is a relationship of fellowship—of knowing Me and knowing Me in and through Jesus.
Yes, it all started with Adam in the Garden of Eden and then with Adam and Eve every day in the breezy time. And when they rejected My Word and fellowship with Me, you will never hear Adam talking with Me again though I sought it. So I was constantly seeking those who would open their hearts to fellowship with Me. I made you to be My family in My own image and according to My likeness so we could do things together and enjoy the goodness I have stored up for you together.
Many years later I found Abraham, who became My friend, and the adventure began for I made him the father of many nations and your father in the faith. He believed Me and I credited that to him as righteousness with Me. And that is still how you receive the gift of righteousness, you believe in your heart that I raised Jesus from the dead with all your sins paid for and your sentence of eternal death satisfied and you are made right with Me and righteous with My own righteousness. And next you speak out what you have the faith in your heart for as you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord unto salvation.
I also found a friend in Moses and we spent much time in fellowship, fruitful fellowship for Moses wrote down as eyewitness account the account of creation, and the history of My Covenant with the people who responded to Me to authorize Me back into the earth busy in their lives to bless and keep them. And next Joshua, who was full of the spirit of faith, led My people into the land I had promised and as long as he inquired of Me and found his answers in fellowship I could fight with them unto victory.
I made covenant starting with Noah so that I could come again into your lives and dwell with you as your God and you as My people, My family and My very special treasure. I gave Moses the plans for My dwelling place among them in a tent to travel to the Promised Land with My people and invited them all to be My royal priesthood and hear My voice so I could work wonders in their midst but they would not but told Moses to talk to Me and tell them what I said.
Years later, when My people had forgotten Me, I found Samuel who was willing to hear My voice and speak with Me and carry out Kingdom work on the earth. After that I found David, a man after My own heart, who was always willing to fellowship with Me and who sought and thirsted for our relationship, finding it more important to him than any other thing on earth or in Heaven. I was his delight, his portion, and his choice.
And there were many others that stood out as loving Me and loyal to the covenant, such as Isaiah, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, and many others who would rather die than lose fellowship with Me.
I desired so much to fellowship with you and take the sin away that divided us that I gave you My Son as propitiation for your sins and in Him I reconciled you to Myself, not counting your sins against you but accounting them all to Him, and Jesus was God with you as I had promised you through My prophet Isaiah. And now all who receive Jesus have receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and I now have a dwelling place with each of you that you access in the One Spirit so we can be together at all times in the delightful life of fellowship.
And having become one with Me and My Son, born again from above as citizens of My Kingdom, but more than that, for you have full rights to My Kingdom benefits as citizens but you are also My child and a joint heir with Christ, so you also have relationship and the double portion.
You are still in the world, however, but not of the world system as run by the evil one but as ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven. You are anointed to share with all the nations of the world the good news of the life-changing joy found in My love. True joy begins with knowing and believing in My unwavering love for you, and experiencing it daily in fellowship with Me. Let Me be who I long to be to you! Your teacher, your guide, your leader, your Shepherd, your healer, your righteousness, your helper, your provider, your deliverer, your refuge, your peace, your savior, your redeemer, your comfort, your stronghold, your fortress, but above all your Father and your God. I want you to know and experience the joy of My care, comfort, forgiveness, help, encouragement, provision, healing, and revelation, so that with confidence in My love, your life will transform into a sanctuary of peace and blessed answers. Your frantic search for joy and peace ends when you rest in the assurance that you have the very best—My unfathomable, unchanging love as manifested among you in Christ Jesus your Lord, who is My gift to you for your salvation.
Relationships are what life is all about. That is why people seek out friends, want a family, get married and the like. They want to be with those who love them, care for them, care about them, and want to be with them. Those who are like-minded and enjoy what they enjoy so they can enjoy life together. It is not good to be alone. But the same is true for Me. And I really am the only one that knows you to your very core and who you can be completely open with in all things.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8.
And being with Me will make you like Me. And I am pure. The surest path to purity of life is to spend your days and nights with Me no matter how busy or full of other things your day will be. Do everything with Me. Nothing is impossible WITH Me but without Me you are stuck in the physical alone where things do not operate as they do in the spiritual realm, for with and in Me is where the truth is found.
To enter into fellowship with Me you have to want to do so. That is true in your relationship with anyone. If you refuse another’s attempts to be friends with you, they have to give up. I look for hearts that seek Me, not lip service, but hearts.
Then the Lord (Adonai) said, “Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote. Isaiah 29:13.
Jesus spoke this to the Pharisees and religious leaders as fulfilling this prophecy of His:
You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’” Matthew 15:7-9.
Jesus also told them that He knew them and they did not love Me in their hearts. Those who call upon Me, “LORD, Lord!” but do not do My Will, I tell them I never knew them. No fellowship with Me. He told them they were not doing My Will and thus are strangers to Me. No agreement. And without agreement, there is no fellowship possible. You cannot be in strife, striving against My Word, and be in fellowship with Me.
What is My Will? Jesus told you:
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40.
You overcome the world by your faith, but faith in what? Believing in Jesus My Son. I so loved the world that I gave you Jesus as My gift to you that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Love then consists in this, not that you loved Me but that I loved you and gave My Son as propitiation for your sins and shortcomings so that you can live your life through Him. Yes, I have made Him to be wisdom for you, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. In and with Him I have freely given you all things, including the open path to My throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace just when you need it so that you have an abundance that takes care of all you need and then pours out to others to bless them. As I told Abraham, walk before Me and be blameless. Walking in My light will keep you on the right path and make you pure as the Light in which you walk. Stay out of the darkness, do not even mention the deeds others are doing in darkness, do not sully your thoughts.
Jesus took your place and gave you grace. He laid down His life for you to reunite you with Me forever. He emptied Himself to make you full, to make you rich. And looking at that your heart should sing in My shadow and secret place where the evil one cannot touch you.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
I love you and I have so much to share with you in the fellowship of Covenant love. Will you draw close to Me and open the door of your heart so I can dine with you and you with Me? Spending time with Me is never wasted time, it will increase your fruitfulness a hundredfold and more for it is forever.
