Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. For I was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth. I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth. John 1:2-4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The prosperous soul is one at peace, free from torment, and in total agreement with your spirit. It is living pure. And there is only one way your soul will prosper and be at peace, but first let Me ask you a question, do you know of what your soul consists? I often distinguish between your soul and your spirit and this coincides with the times I distinguish between your mind and your heart.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23.
You are a spirit, that is your innermost self and core, you have a soul, and you are functioning upon earth in your body which is the home of your eternal spirit and soul while the body is temporal. Paul called the body your “tent” (skénos (σκῆνος): Tent, Tabernacle, Dwelling) meaning the home of your spirit and soul on the earth. If you recall he was a tentmaker as a profession. Peter also called his body his earthly tent (skénóma (σκῆνωμα): Tent, Tabernacle, Dwelling) which he would depart and leave in the earth realm as one would shed an old suit of clothing or roll up a tent and put it away to be with Me in the heavenly kingdom.
For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1.
Most of people’s mental and physical problems come from spending too much time in the soul realm and not enough time in the spirit realm. However when they join as one mind and one heart, then your life can flow unhindered. It is then you have tapped into your source, the live stream of truth in the innermost parts.
Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, and in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Psalm 51:6.
The varying emotions are in the soulish realm, David, when he felt himself slipping into the darkness of despair or fear, would question and challenge his soul, “Why are you so downcast, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? And then counsel himself to hope in Me and My Word (which is the spirit realm). Your spirit, if you are born again, is joined with Mine by the Holy Spirit residing in your spirit (heart) and in My presence is pure joy, not up and down just a joy persevering and strong that nothing and no one can take from you. It is not based on circumstances but on the source. It is your taproot reaching into living water that will keep flowing into your spirit and then your spirit, when it is the strongest part of you, can flow out into your soul and then into your body to manifest in the world.
If you just get yourself into the spirit realm and do not limit yourself to the soul, your spirit is always in sync with Me in joy, for the spirit is joined to Mine in one who is born again. I have removed your stony heart (Adam put My lamp (life and light) out in his spirit by driving out the seed of My Word) and given you a tender heart sensitive to My voice by My Spirit who I have poured into your heart. And when I raised Christ Jesus from the dead I raised you up with Him in the spirit and seated you with Him in heaven even now.
The soul consists of your mind whereby you process information that is either from your spirit or from your flesh (and by flesh I do not mean your body itself, I mean what you are perceiving physically around you by your five sense, in other words, limited only to what can be seen and discern physically. But the spiritual realm is above that and has no limits in what can be done with Me for I am not limited by time or space.)
I also let you know that the strength of your decisions, that is your will, is associated with your mind and your emotions so it too is of the soul.
So the spirit is who you are in your deepest reality and establishes your inner connection with Me where you can hear My voice and receive revelation, for “The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the innermost parts of his being.” Provers 20:27.
“It will come about at that time that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are stagnant in spirit, who say in their hearts, ‘The LORD will not do good or evil!’ Zephaniah 1:12.
For You light my lamp; The LORD my God illumines my darkness. Psalm 18:28.
The soul consists of your mind, will, and emotions and is the bridge between your spirit and your body so that the health, prosperity, and joy you walk in and the actions you take can be directed by the revelation light I shine into your spirit teaching you all things, bringing all I have said to your remembrance, guiding you to all truth, and telling you the things to come.
However, you can grieve the Holy Spirit and quench Him within you by not paying attention to your spirit but only feeding your mind with the input from your five physical senses of what your body sees and feels in the world. If you listen merely to secular news and programs you will not hear spiritual truths mentioned but only godless chatter, theories, and philosophies, which contain some wisdom and truth from what I have made but are not even close to the height, depth, and breadth of spiritual realities.
The things of the world will not give you a pure life but will ultimately fill you with worry, torment, trouble, envy, depression, and the like. Limiting yourself to operating in the flesh is extremely wearing and burdensome on your soul and will effect the health of your body as well.
The things of the Spirit though are life and peace. In the Spirit you have One upon whom you can cast your care who cares for you. I am above all your loving, generous, and kind Father who gives only good things to those who ask Me.
For your soul to prosper you must get free from the burdens of the earthy, fleshy mindset that traps you in the temporal that offers you no way out of circumstances that are impossible for man in himself to solve. You must instead renew your mind with hearing and hearing My Word until you tap into the flow of My thoughts which are higher than what you have from the flesh so that you know the truth of who you are, who I am, the things I have freely given you, the hope of your calling, the richness of your inheritance, the power that is working in you by My Spirit doing more than you can ask or thing, and above all that you have the victory in Me over sin and death. With Me, that is, in agreement with My Word in partnership and fellowship with Me, you can do what the worldly term “impossible.” Yes, for man alone on your own it is impossible, but in union with Me all things are possible. I made everything and I can remake everything. I sustain you in life and you are with Me forever. Death does not phase Me, all are alive to Me. I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, Ruth, Hannah, Samuel, David, and I could go on all the way to YOU. All are with Me even now very much alive. You will meet them all in the Kingdom and multitudes of others that you have never heard about in this world but will know them in the Kingdom. The Kingdom is a most wonderful place and it is your home. I prepared it for you along with the earth as well. All is yours in Christ Jesus as a joint heir of everything.
When you know the truth you know Me and in that flow you KNOW the things that make your life wonderful and nothing can move you to fear, doubt, or unbelief. It is then your soul prospers and the result is that you prosper and are in good health.

But Joshua practiced this and had a life of such great victory that towards the end of his earthly sojourn he stated with great joy that every one of the magnificent promises I had made to him through My friend Abraham and the prophets and to Moses had come to pass for him. Why? Here is the answer and it still is your answer:
Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the Torah (My written Words) which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the Torah shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9.
It still is the same instruction. Joshua only had the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) but you have the entire Bible to read, hear, meditate, and speak, that is, to renew you mind with and be transformed. Romans 12:1-2. Maybe if your soul and every area of life, that is, spirit, soul, and body, is not prospering and in good health it is time you did what I told you and put some diligence into tapping into My Word. Psalm1:1-3.
I love you. Let Jesus, your good Shepherd lead you to green pastures and restful, healing waters and restore your souls. But to restore your soul, you must renew you mind for the only way your soul can prosper is by walking in the truth. And that is walking in love, Me.

I am going to remove all evil from your midst. Be firm in your purpose, be set on one goal, never retreat and don’t look back. I will make you whole, complete, lacking in nothing good. It’s small things that start things that later will be the issues of life between you and Me.
