When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:3-4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You can go forward and stop wandering around in the wilderness. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Your weak flesh will fear and back up, but take courage, Jesus has overcome the world and now He is in you to make you an overcomer. You are not locked out of the promised land because of your disobedience in not going in the first time as the Israelites of the generation who came out of the slavery of Egypt were. In Jesus the door is open and you have another chance, and more than one, to go into your promised land. In Jesus, My gifts and My call are irrevocable. I am always there for you if you will come to Me.
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is justified, made righteous, and freed from all things from which you could not be justified, made righteous, and freed through the Law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39.
There is now no condemnation for you who are in Chrit Jesus, you have room to repent, return, rejoice, and have your inheritance restored. You can still go forward to the promised land even if out of fear you backed up. You are not condemned to stay out in the wilderness as happened to those redeemed out of Egypt. Why? What made the difference? Jesus. Yeshuah. Salvation. Grace.
For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16-17.
Do you remember what Jesus replied when after His betrayal and arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, as He stood before the Sanhedrin, the high priest stood up and said to Him, “Do You not answer? What is it that these men are testifying against You?” But Jesus kept silent. But the high priest did not stop there, he commanded Jesus under oath before Me to say whether He was the Messiah, My Son. Do you remember what Jesus answered?
Jesus said to him, “You have said it; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Matthew 26:64.
Jesus came to do a work of power and He finished that work and sat down at My right hand.
When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they. Hebrews 1:3-4.
The high priest of the Old Covenant had nowhere to sit when he went in the Holy of Holies, his work was never finished for the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, could never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who drew near. In those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year by year and the covering of mercy waiting for the satisfaction of the debt. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins, but Jesus finished the work I sent Him to do and gave the His blood of eternal redemption once for all for all time—past, present and future and sat down at My right hand.
Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. Hebrews 10:11-14.
And I raised you up with Him and seated you there in Heaven at My right hand in Him.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:4-10.
And that is your promised land. It is a rest in Him from all the sin that easily entangles and snares you. Sin no longer has any power over you, you are under grace.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:12-14.
Grace is My life in you to make you holy, blameless and pure. The grace to walk with Me in the life of good deeds I created for you in Christ Jesus before the world began.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:11-14.
He came to seek out and save the lost. He came to undo the works of the devil. He came to take away your sins and give you My righteousness. He came to testify to the truth. My Word is truth and My testimony in Him is eternal life. He came to give you a new heart—a spirit alive to Me and dead to sin so that I could join My Spirit with yours. He came to make you a new creation in Him by being born again from above by My Word. But all this has to do with one thing above all the others: He came to save you from your sins, that is, from the consequences of your sins, for the wages of sin is eternal death, by taking all your sins from you into His own sinless flesh, paying your judgment, satisfying your sentence, and justifying you. He took your sins and gave you My own righteousness. He took down the division, the dividing wall, that your sins had put between Me and you.
Behold, the LORD’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2.
How did I knock down that wall? How did it go down to the very bowels of the earth like that walls of Jericho? By the joyful shout over your portion, for it is the double portion of the firstborn son, joint heirs with Him when you come out of your sin in Him.
But you will be called the priests of the LORD; you will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs. Isaiah 61:6-7.
Have faith in forgiveness and the inheritance of the double portion. You are joint heirs with Christ when you are born again from above by My imperishable Word and He is the firstborn and the inheritance of the firstborn is the double portion. What does that mean for the supply and blessings found in Me and My Kingdom are limitless and unending. It means you always have another chance—your promised land, your inheritance, are double doubles for the double of everything keeps doubling beyond the thousandfold. If you miss it once, you are not cut off, there is much more there.
For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:7-11.
What is your response? How do you overflow with the joy of salvation and know that all is well? That the sin is gone that everything you thought you missed and lost is still there for you in Jesus? Ask Him for a drink and He will give you the fountain of living water in you and upon you filling up your heart, your cup, your life!
Then you will say on that day, “I will give thanks to You, O LORD; for although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation. And in that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.” Praise the LORD in song, for He has done excellent things; let this be known throughout the earth. Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 12:1-6.
I am in your midst and I am there to save you. And that makes all the difference. Your response is the joyful shout that takes down the wall that sin puts up and takes you into the promised land flowing with milk and honey.
“The LORD your God is in your midst, a warrior who saves. He will exult over you with joy, He will renew you in His love, He will rejoice over you with joyful songs and shouts of joy. Zephaniah 3:17.
As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear! Haggai 2:5.
Know My heart for you and do not fear. Grace is My life in you making you partakers of My divine nature and it is My idea and I give it to you in Jesus.
Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him. Isaiah 30:18.
How blessed are those who long for the salvation in Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:8.
I am a God of justice, I justified you in Jesus. I put all your sins on Him and He paid your judgment, took your sentence, and I raised you up with Him. That is justice, off you on Him.
In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing Isaiah 30:15.
How are you willing? You agree with My Word.
He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. And you will defile your graven images overlaid with silver, and your molten images plated with gold. You will scatter them as an impure thing, and say to them, “Be gone!” Isaiah 30:20-22.
Jesus is your teacher and He invites you to come to Him and learn from Him. He is gentle and humble of heart, your soul (mind, will, and emotions) will find rest for His yoke is easy and His burden light.
If the LORD had not been my help, my soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence. If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:17-19.
Where sin abounds, if you will turn to Me, My grace superabounds. With enough grace you can do anything. My grace is sufficient to hold you.
I love you. I long to be gracious to you, will you receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness and reign in life through Christ Jesus your Lord? Your promised land is open, not shut, just come no matter how many times you missed it in the past.
