In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 1 Corinthians 11:25.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

I want you to compare two scriptures, what I told the sinful people before Jesus came to dwell among you and take all your sins upon Himself and what I said after He came and made all things new for you, for in Christ you are a new creation. In Him I have made all things new.

In the days of Jeremiah My covenant people had broken My covenant and turned away from Me to worship other gods. They did not walk in My ways or keep My Words, which had the power to change them and a famine came on the land. Jeremiah interceded for the people that I would take them back, though they were not seeking Me.

Thus says the LORD to this people, “Even so they have loved to wander; they have not kept their feet in check. Therefore the LORD does not accept them; now He will remember their iniquity and call their sins to account.” Jeremiah 14:10.

But that was not the end of the prayer of Jeremiah. Not much later I completed My answer with My solution. I would gather them all back to Me and take all the sins away. Not man’s solution but Mine.

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31-34.

To know Me makes all the difference.

What happened in the New that the Old did not have? I put all your sins on Jesus. Jesus made the difference. Jesus stepped into the gap between Me and you, the dividing wall that sin had raised, and took down that wall by offering Himself once for all.

Jesus revealed Me to you. He came as God with you, among you, and one like you in all things but sin, for He like Adam was born from My pure and incorruptible Word as Adam had been but by his fall from grace to sin Adam was born again from below with the corruptible lie that perishes and its fruit is death.

Jesus came for many reasons but it comes down to one—He came to show you love in action in My compassion to reconcile you to Myself not counting your sins and trespasses against you but removing them from you as far as the east from the west. He became your scapegoat, your lamb of sacrifice, your sin offering, your guilt offering, your burnt offering, and your peace offering. I want all to know Me from the least to the greatest and I was in Him drawing you back to Me in one like you that you could see. He is My strong arm reached down to embrace you, bless you, heal you, carry you, save you, protect you, redeem you, and raise you up to Me from where you had fallen. In Him, I take you out of the ash heap to seat you with the Prince of Peace. He came on a rescue mission to do the impossible for in Him I have rescued you from the power of darkness translated you into My Kingdom. Out of the darkness into My marvelous light. He brought you the light of life.

He came so you can all know Me from the least to the greatest. So you can experience the joy of living in My love where I make all things work together for your good. He made the way, a new and living way for you to know Me. He first cleansed you of all sin by His pure blood poured out for you. He satisfied your judgment of death in that you owed Me an eternal life for the one Adam murdered by sin in his own flesh and that of all his descendants that are born of his perishable seed. Jesus gave the eternal life He had in the flesh for the one you lost and it cost the blood, for the life is in the blood.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3.

With the sin gone, we can join as one.

If you recall after Adam let evil enter his heart, for like Judas he let Satan into his heart to take possession thereof, which then resulted in betrayal of Me by rejection of My Word, which ushered in fear, remorse, and blame, he never spoke to Me again. He severed the relationship for himself and his descendants. Not knowing Me results in darkness, confusion, and wickedness. And that is what happened. I saw that the wickedness of men was great on the earth and every intent of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5. I was sorry I made man but then there was Noah who found favor in My eyes. He walked with Me. He had a pure heart. It was not evil.

Back to the words of My prophet Jeremiah as he looked upon the evil of the people and the famine that had come on the land. And he saw what sin does, for its wages is death, and how it separates you from Me. I am the source of all that sustains you and blesses you. When the relationship is severed, My goodness cannot flow into wickedness, it is foreign to it.

I had to get the evil out of your hearts for you to again live in the beauty of holiness. I had the plan.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not bring a famine on you. I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the produce of the field, so that you will not receive again the disgrace of famine among the nations. Ezekiel 36:25-30.

I have taken out your old heart of stone that you inherited from Adam and gave you a new heart, the heart of Jesus, that you receive under the New Covenant in Christ. In the Old Covenant I had to write the law on tablets of stone but now I write My law in your heart of flesh. You now, in Jesus, have My heart, a pure heart, so you can see Me and enter into My Kingdom even now.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5-6.

Why is that? I am love and that is the atmosphere of Heaven, everything and everyone there is love, everything else is foreign and cannot enter. (“I never knew you, out of My sight you evil doers!”) Wickedness, evil, separation from Me brought famine and thirst but oneness with Me brings fullness and overflowing abundance. Ezekiel 36:29.

In Christ, I remove the sin and the effects of sin. Jesus undoes the works of the devil, 1 John 3:8, that have bound you—the hard heart, the emptiness, the wandering feet that you have not kept in check. Jeremiah 14:10. He came to make the minds which Satan has blinded in the unbelievers free to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is My image. I made Jesus to be wisdom to you, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. In Him I give you grace, mercy, forgiveness and fullness of redemption.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. . . For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:3-6.

Jesus bought you back eternal life. It is in Him for to know Me and the One I sent, Jesus Christ, is eternal life. John 17:3. And when you know Me, your sins I remember no more. It is knowing Me and the One I sent that takes away sin.

To sum up: in Jesus I remove sin, cleanse you of all unrighteousness, wash you in regeneration by the Spirit, give you pure mind and a pure heart, that you might live through Jesus, 1 John 4:9, who is the propitiation for your sins.

It was your sins that separated you from Me and they had to be removed to unit you to Me and I took care of that in Jesus. Jesus as God and Man, brought Me to you and you to Me in one seamless life.

You cannot know Me or find the way to Me without Jesus. John 1:18. In Him you are filled with My fullness. No more famine. No more thirst. You are complete in Him. You cannot purify yourself without Jesus. In Jesus I transform you (metamorphosis), regenerate you and make you a new creation born again from above. Born of Me in the Spirit and not of the flesh.

That is the new covenant. The blood (pure) of the new Covenant. Adam made the blood impure and it brought death, but now there is the new covenant in Jesus’ blood and every time you eat the bread of life and drink from the cup of Salvation you receive a pure blood filled with eternal life. Each time you eat the bread and drink the cup you proclaim His death  until He comes. You need all of Christ and communion is all about that.

The Old Covenant does not quite get you there, it needs to be completed in the New. The Old explains the New and the New completes the Old. What more can you ask than everything? And you have that in Christ so enter My rest and let your heart sing.

I love you. It is time that you believed that and enjoyed being with Me as I do being with you.
