For You O LORD are my refuge; you have made the Most High your dwelling place. Psalm 91:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I can take a nightmare and turn it into a beautiful dream just by changing your perspective. I did that when I raised Christ from the dead, from the depths of hell to the heights of Heaven in one day.
“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession.’” Psalm 2:7-8; Hebrews 1:5; Revelation 2:25-29.
And when I raised Him, I raised you with Him and seated you in Heavenly places at My right hand in Him. Ephesians 2:6. You are ABOVE and not beneath your circumstances. Deuteronomy 28:13-14; Colossians 3:1-4; Ephesians 1:19-23. You are where you are now in this life to raise it from the depths of hell to the heights of Heaven.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.” John 11:25.
And you are in Christ and Christ is in you. Within you resides resurrection power. Ephesians 1:18-19; Romans 8:11.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11.
Life to your mortal bodies also, not just your glorified ones. It is the here and now to give you abundant life no matter where you are, you can step up out of the miry swamp you are in to the heights.
I waited, waited for the LORD; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and He set my feet upon a high rock making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Psalm 40:1-3.
Out of the swamp to a high mountain rock by a new outlook (perspective from above and not beneath, over and not under) and a new report from YOU about your life.
Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation (Yeshuah) say continually, “The LORD be magnified!” Psalm 40:16.
Who and what are you magnifying in your life each day? What is the thing you focus on and talk about the most? Is it your problem you are focused on or is it the Problem Solver? That could be what is depressing and defeating you.
Let those who seek Me rejoice in Me. Not in the dire circumstances and problems, but in Me. My servant Paul was not always in what others would call the “best” circumstances—he was at times being loved and followed and at other times in prison, beaten, stoned, persecuted and all for speaking the truth that sets you free, but he had a secret that made him content at all times whether the circumstances were ideal or not: “Rejoice in the LORD always! Again I say rejoice!” Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give constant thanks.” This is the secret of being above and not beneath, of living in My house and drinking from the river of delights and the fountain of life. Seeing light in My light.
Look again at David’s song in Psalm 40 and find the key. How did I bring him up (and it is the same for you) out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set his feet upon the Rock making his footsteps firm? I gave him the grace to stop singing the blues and PUT A NEW SONG IN HIS MOUTH, A SONG OF PRAISE TO THE ONE WHO IS SALVATION IN EVERY SITUATION.
Get your eyes (mind, focus, mindset) OFF the circumstances and on to Me by a song of praise. When you magnify your Savior all else fades into the background. You rule in the midst of your enemies. I set a banquet table before you in the sight of your foes. I anoint your head with the oil of joy and your cup overflows and goodness, kindness, and the blessings of Heaven chase you down and overwhelm you and you dwell in My house all the days of your life. My Kingdom is within you no matter where you are, no matter who is around you.
Beaten with rods and chained to the floor in a prison cell, how did Paul and Silas raise that place of hell on earth to the heights of Heaven without even changing where they lay? They took their eyes off their pain and the circumstances around them and put them on Me, where they were seated in the Spirit in the heavenly heights at My right hand in Christ and I put a new song of praise in their mouths and they did not reject it but sang it unto Me with all their hearts in full voice and all the prisoners heard. And the result? The chains of everyone in that prison fell off and the gates flew open. But do you know what happened? No one jumped up and ran out to get out of that place that a moment before had been hell on earth because as the praise went up from two hearts filled with My Spirit it had become so full of My glory and wonders that they did not want to leave that heavenly place. And the church at Philippi was born from a dark prison cell to a place of light and freedom without even changing location. And even the jailor was rejoicing with the prisoners and everyone got saved. It is that simple. When you put My Blessing to work waste places turn into the garden of Eden.
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:21-24.
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21.
And I might just add that the church in Philippi was the only church that faithfully kept sending offerings to Paul wherever he was to help him in reaching more people with the good news that he had given them that set them free and Paul shared with them the secret of being content in every circumstance in Christ who strengthens you, for they had witnessed that firsthand and knew the wonders that does. Philippians 4:10-20.
If you listen to, hear, and obey My Word with joy, every blessing in Heaven will chase you down and overwhelm you! Deuteronomy 28:1-2. But if you reject My Words or treat them as burdensome and have no joy in the abundance of things I give you each day but are a complainer and blamer, you have opened yourself to the curse and to the destroyer and you will lose everything. Deuteronomy 28:47-48.
Put your mind above where Christ is seated (and you with Him) at My right hand and not so much on yourself and your circumstances and you will find glory, praise, and honor no matter where you are and you can change your hell on earth to days of Heaven on earth. A new song and a new perspective can move mountains that are blocking your view.
You are not subject to circumstances (temporal facts) because you have available to you the truth that will trump those facts and turn everything around for good for you who love Me and are called according to My purpose, which is your purpose, which is your life that is life indeed.
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to seat them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. 1 Samuel 2:8; Psalm 113:7-8; Ephesians 2:4-7.
I raise you up from the ash heap to seat you with the Prince of Peace.
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:18-23.
And I have seated you there with Him. No matter where you are at this moment, you are seated above and can soar above your circumstances if you will just get you focus on Me and sing the new song I am putting in your mouth.
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10.
But if you close your mouth and heart to Me there is not much I can do and you will spend the night, and it will be dark, right where you are. It is all where you are putting your eyes.
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light. Luke 11:34-36.
If you keep your eyes on Me, I can pluck your feet out of the snare.
My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:15.
Make Me your dwelling place and you will be above and not beneath your circumstances and those around you.
For You O LORD are my refuge; you have made the Most High your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. Psalm 91:9-10.
Where will you spend your days?
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the delightfulness of the LORD and to inquire in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. Psalm 27:4-5.
Come with confidence to My throne of grace and spend your days in the Holy of Holies with Me receiving mercy and finding grace constantly. It is not all about who you are it is about whose you are. It is not about where you are physically but where you are in Spirit and in truth. Remember John physically was on the barren island of Patmos but in the Spirit he was in Heaven seeing the things to come. Stephen was physically on earth and the crowd was stoning him but he looked right into Heaven and saw Jesus at My right hand and just stepped over. If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you and all of Heaven as well. Turn wherever you are to a place of worship in your heart and make it a house of God and a gate of Heaven. Planted in My house you will bear fruit even unto old age and renew your youth. Choose Me that you may live forever and trump all that the devil has planned to bring you down to the flesh.
Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the LORD your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed. For the sons of Ammon and Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir destroying them completely; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. When Judah came to the lookout of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground, and no one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much. 2 Chronicles 20:20-25.
