He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You see Me in Christ.
Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” John 14:9.
And I see you in Christ.
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.
Jesus is the full expression of two in One. Son of God and Son of Man. I see your image as in a mirror in Him and you see My image as in a mirror in Him. And as you look into that mirror, as you BEHOLD Him, you see that reflection back on you transforming you from glory to glory in Him.
Jesus is the exact image of Me to you and He is the exact image of you to Me. He is one with Me and you are one with Him. I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself and the way I did that was by putting Christ in you reconciling you to Me.
The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
My plan for you is Jesus. Jesus is the exact image of what your relationship is with Me and Mine with you. Your humanity clothed in My divinity and My divinity clothed in your humanity so that in Him you are a partaker of the divine nature and are raised up from faith to virtue, in the knowledge of who I have made you to be in Christ, holy, blameless and beyond accusation.
And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:21-22.
I have sealed you in Him and made Him to be your righteousness, sanctification and redemption, and in seeing you, others are seeing Me as well. You are created in the image of Jesus and are born again in the image of Jesus so that He has primacy in all things. And as I sent Him so He sends you.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.
I have made you righteous with My own righteousness in Him. He emptied Himself so you could be full of everything I am.
To those who have received a like precious faith, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:1-4.
Establish yourself in Jesus, know you have His righteousness and established in righteousness you are free from oppression, able to control your entire body, persevering in your walk with Me, drawing closer and closer and becoming more and more godly, filled with My goodness, going on to kindness and brotherly love, and finally to My kind of love that is the gracious love that loves without bitterness, resentment, or offense, speaking the truth and justice in love.
You are to grow up together as believers into the head of the body, who is Christ, each day you are to be more and more like Him, conformed to His image for as He is so are you in this world, i.e., not of the world but in the world as My ambassadors with your supply from your home country, which is the Kingdom of Heaven.
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3.
How do you become like Him? By seeing Him as He is. I have put you in Christ and given you His wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, but how are you transformed in the spirit of your mind and soul to be like Him? How do you leave behind the sins that so easily burden and entangle you? How do you become transformed into His image before Me? BY BEHOLDING HIM.
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day. John 6:40.
You become what you are constantly beholding, what you have set your mind upon and what has engaged your heart. Today people watch violence, even in video games, and they go out a shoot into malls and schools. People look at pornography and it becomes their very character. Where are you fixing your eyes?
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2.
And who is Jesus? My Word made flesh who only spoke My Words and did My works that I showed Him. He was always beholding Me. And in beholding Him you are beholding Me and being transformed from glory to glory. Get full of My Word and you will not sin but will become just like Jesus.
My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to my sayings. DO NOT LET THEM DEPART FROM YOUR SIGHT; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Proverbs 4:20-22.
Day and night be looking into, pondering, finding the treasures in My Word, for in My Word are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and with that Word before you, you are building yourself up into My abode where we dwell at peace as one and each of us find our expression to one another in Jesus.
By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:2-4
Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. You will speak and you will do whatever fills your heart. Purify yourself with My Word and let no unwholesome, idle, or evil word come out of your mouth. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, you cannot be a liar, even in the smallest matters and walk in the light.
And put devious speech far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:23-26.
Eternal life is to know Me, the one true God, and the One I sent, Jesus Christ. To know Me you must know Me in Jesus. He explains Me. And to know you I must know you in Jesus. In Him I redeemed you from all evil and made you pure. And now you keep yourself pure in My Word. No one knows the Son but Me and no one knows Me but My Son and anyone to whom My Son reveals Me.
In Jesus I raise you up to My level and make you complete in Him. He is your righteousness, your sanctification, your holiness, your wisdom, your redemption—of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. In Christ My divine power has given you everything pertaining to life and godliness and called you into My own glory and excellence.
Jesus brings you up to My level and brings Me down to your level in the perfection you were made to be. Yes, Jesus is My plan for you. He is the full expression of who I made you to be. And it is in the beholding you become who I made you to be.
I love you. Keep your eyes on Jesus for in Him you see Me and in Him I see you. Jesus is the full expression of two (Me and you) in One.
