Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Those who have hardened their hearts do not know and believe in the love I have for them. The world has overcome them and they have not overcome the world. The victory that overcomes the world is your faith and there is no faith in a hardened heart. The devil hardened the hearts of Eve and Adam by making them doubt the truth of My Word.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:1-5.
A hardened heart is a heart of doubt and unbelief.
How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God? Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” John 5:44-47.
It exalts human reasoning above My wisdom and knowledge.
‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:14.
A hardened heart does not know that in Christ it has what it is looking for, instead it goes searching in itself for what it needs but will never find what it is looking for in itself but only in Me in Christ. It already has what it wants in Christ but does not know it nor want to know that. A hardened heart refuses to come to Me, but is blocking the attaining of the authority it so desires because all it is trying so desperately to grasp I have given everyone already in Christ.
And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form. You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. I do not receive glory from men; but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.” John 5:37-42.
Adam was the “god” of this world, but he did not know it and exercise it so he lost it by looking for what he had in Me outside of Me. And doing that will just take you into toil and pain. You were made to be One with Me, never to be apart from Me. Hardened hearts have gone to the outer darkness of the continuum of life. And the farther you get from the center, the less like the center you are.
And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:23
People have always tried, even in the tower of Babel, looking for what they have in Me in themselves and created things. Their pride tries to grasp it by their flesh as obtaining it without Me but what they refuse to see, and there are none so blind as those who will not see, is that they have exactly what they seek in Me. But it takes humility under My hand so I can raise you and exalt you at My right hand in Christ. My power is for you and into you but it is not from you. You are not God, you are My family and Covenant partners and all I have is yours but you are not Me and I am not you but we are one in Christ where humanity and divinity meet in one perfect seamless life.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23.
You were conceived by My Word in My heart, you were made by My Word spoken aloud, you are sustained by My Word holding you together and breathing in you, and you are raised by My Word to eternal life in a body made new. You will not be happy apart from My Word. When your spirit hears My Word it will devour it for that is of what you are made. It is your only true food and your only true joy. You will find your spirit and soul will sing when My Word comes with revelation light into your being. Your happiest moments in the darkness of doubt is suddenly to hear the Word that gives you the way out, and not just an escape but a glorious path filled with your dominion authority realized in Christ at last.
The LORD has bared His holy arm in the sight of all the nations, that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God. Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean; go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD. But you will not go out in haste, nor will you go as fugitives; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:10-12.
Why feed yourself with what is not bread? There are things in your life that are better unsaid. But then there are things you must speak in the light, and there are songs you will hear in the dark of the night. Wake the dawn with your song, for I am there with you, and be mindful of Me in all that you do. Without My Word, life is hell upon earth, but with My Word comes blest new birth. It all begins with one simple phrase, that Jesus is Lord of all of your days.
I love you. Have faith in My love for you. Have faith in My Word to you. Have faith in the One who made you, who saved you, who forgave you, who blessed you, and who favors you. The times I love best are the times you spend with Me, and where more than one gathers in My Name to fellowship and intercede, that is My delight and there I can flow and reveal Myself to hearts who love. Fill the world with the light of My love from your vantage place of prayer wrapped in My everlasting arms.
