And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. Luke 15:31.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A hardened heart is one that does not know what it already has. It is seeking what I have already freely given and consequently never gets ahold of it because it already has what it wants. The elder son in the parable of the prodigal son did not know that everything was his that the father owned, somehow he missed that his father had already given him inheritance, and so he never used what he had and resented the father for withholding from him, but actually he was the owner of all and was shortchanging himself.
When you are seeking to get what you’ve already got it is frustrating for you and Me, but the worst part is it hardens you heart to Me so that you cannot receive what I have already freely given you in Christ. But that is what happened to Adam and Eve, they were in My image and according to My likeness and everything I had was theirs. But the devil made them think they did not have what they desired and the only way to get it was by separating from Me and acquiring on their own what was already theirs in Me.
If you do not know what is yours in Christ your heart will harden to Me. But when the eyes of your heart are enlightened and you begin to see who you are in Christ and what you have in Christ you will have joy unspeakable filled with glory.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” Isaiah 60:1-2.
Everything I make from the tiniest creature or object to the greatest and vastest wonder of the universe has a purpose and a job to do that upholds and sustains the whole, but all creation is there for one purpose only, to serve and delight you. You are different than all else I made for only you are in My image and according to My likeness. I made you because I am love and I wanted a family to love—to shower with My goodness, blessings, purpose, plan, power and reward upon. I made you to know Me and to be loved by Me. You are My beloved and there is nothing I will not do for you, even to coming down to be one like you in My Son to reconcile you to Myself, to undo what the devil had done in separating you from Me, to give you a joyful heart from a heart burdened, hardened and no longer free.
The only question I ask you is “Do you love Me?” And the problem if you have to consider that for awhile before you answer, is you do not know what I have given you in Christ and consequently you are not living it, though you could.
In Me, you are the person you want to be.
And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:21-22.
Now listen to what you have in Jesus and understand. He gave you His peace (shalom), John 14:27, He gave you His joy, John 15:11, He gave you His anointing, Revelation 1:6, He gave you Me, His Father, as your Father, John 20:17; John 1:12, Galatians 3:26, He gave you His righteousness, 2 Corinthians 5:21, He gave you His wisdom, 1 Corinthians 1:30, He gave you His glory, John 17:22, He got you seated with Him in Heaven at My right hand, John 17:24, Ephesians 2:6, He redeemed you from the curse and gave you the Blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit, Galatians 3:13-14, He baptizes you in the Holy Spirit, Luke 3:16, He clothes you in Himself, Galatians 3:27, He died for your sins, 1 Corinthians 15:3, He redeemed you by His Blood, Ephesians 1:7, He makes you joint heirs with Him of all I have, Romans 8:17, paid your judgment and satisfied your sentence, Colossians 2:13-15. He took all your sins, shame, guilt, blame, pain, sickness, stress, He was crushed for you iniquities and gave you SHALOM. Isaiah 53:1-12.
Everything Jesus did and won in His triumphant life upon earth, He did for you. He emptied Himself and gave everything He gained to you, even the glory with which I glorified Him. Do you understand? I gave back to Him all the authority, dominion, and power Adam handed over to the devil for He paid the price for it by taking all your sins unto Himself and dying for them, going to hell, and then with everything paid, won, and all the devil’s work undone, I raised Him up and seated Him on the throne of the Son of Man that Adam had abdicated to the devil and all that just to seat you there again in full authority in union with Him over the world, the flesh, and the devil. In Him you have won back all that was lost and FAR MORE. For you have Him to live your life through and He is perfect and full of love for you. There is nothing We will not do for you and in you, and we have given you the gift of our divine nature and life with you by the Holy Spirit. I have pulled you in and made you ONE with Me and the Son and the Spirit in Jesus and this is forever, sealed by the Spirit and it is your possession and guarantee of redemption—spirit, soul, and body—glorified and seated with Me in the Kingdom of Light according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
If you know this, your heart will never be hard, resentful, or seeking what you desire anywhere but in Me for when you have the BEST you are at REST. No need to run after idols that have no life in them when you have the living, life-giving one and only God as your own. You are My beloved and I am yours. Forever.
I love you. Do you love Me? That is the only question I ask to fill you with My treasures forever. Fall in love with Me and your life will be a new creation in Christ. You are the one you want to be in Me.
