You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him. Deuteronomy 13:4.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

If you want to live your purpose, plan, reward and the power to do it you must cling to My Word and let it be your guide. Be nothing else except My Word, let it be in your heart and in your mouth.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.

Do not turn to the right or the left, steer and keep your life according to My Word by treasuring it in your heart.

Your Word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:11.

Rest in My Word, wait on it, run with it, and walk in it. For every circumstance, challenge, and season of your life, I have the Word you need.

Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31.

It is My Word that will save you and He did.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14.

My Word is living, working, active, do not permit any imitation, variation, or other information that is contrary to it into your life. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. My Word is amazing. It is not an idle word, it is your life.

“Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law. For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47.

My Word made you, My Word sustains you, My Word saved you, My Word forgave you, My Word blessed you, by My Word, the imperishable seed, you were born again from above as a new creation in Christ, My anointed Word. Why would you turn to other words that have no life or light in them but only death and darkness in them?

I instructed My people when I brought them into the desert on the way to the promised land to treasure and cling to My Word over all other words. And I told them how to stay focused and do this. I taught them how to cling to My Word as to a lifeline.

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

And I repeat this a second time, establishing My Word on two witnesses for you. And then it is the same that I taught Solomon, which he sets out for you  step by step in Proverbs 4:20-27.

“You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, and they shall have days of Heaven on earth.” Deuteronomy 11:18-21.

Let us break this down. First, My Word shall be on your heart and soul, that is in your spirit (inner man of the heart) and your soul (mind, will, and emotions). Write My Word on the tablet of your heart and you do that by speaking and singing My Word over and over.

Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 7:2-3.

My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. You are fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever. Psalm 45:1-2.

Second, teach My Word to the younger generation. The best gift you can give is My Word, for I am My Word, and in giving people My Word you give them Me in whom they will find their purpose and plan so they too can have their great reward and the power to perform all that I have planned for them.

“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:20-21.

The LORD is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, and Your godly ones shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power; to make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts and the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations. Psalm 145:8-13.

My Word is My covenant bond and My promises are in it for you to make you a partaker of My divine nature by participating in My very life in your words and your spirit joined to Mine. Spirit and life is in My Word.

“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.

My Word is forever established in Heaven. Like My Name. And My Word forms the Covenant Name promises and they are all fulfilled in My Word made flesh dwelling among you, imparting glory and, indeed, your hope of glory.

Third, you must talk of Word when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. This is clinging to Me by clinging to My Word as your constant companion, mindset, guide, and leader. I speak to you and you come to know My voice by My written Word in the Bible.

Bind them continually on your heart; tie them around your neck. When you walk about, they will guide you; when you sleep,  they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk to you. Proverbs 6:21-22.

And My Word will heal you and grow your faith. It will be your buckler and your shield, your helmet and your breastplate, protecting and shielding you from the attacks of the evil one. Faith comes by hearing and hearing My Word, and unless your faith is strong, you will not be strong.

Keep My Words always before your eyes so that you see things in the light that I see them in. Bind them as a sign on your hand, as frontals on your forehead, write them on the doorposts of your house, write them on your gates, everywhere you set your eyes be sure to be seeing My Word to define and discern.

It is much easier to just give in to all the devil puts on you or does than to resist and stand strong on My Word, but if you want a happy, fruitful life of shalom, you must fight the good fight of faith. Then you can say at the end of your days on earth that you have fought the good fight, kept the faith, and finished your race and that a merited crown awaits you.

Jesus resisted and fought all His time on earth but He was at peace in the midst of the opposition. And He gave you His peace as a gift to you who follow Him.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27.

How do you keep your heart from being troubled or fearful? How do you stay in perfect peace in times of trial? By keeping My Word of promise and hope in your heart, before your eyes, in your ears, and in your mouth. My Word alone will bring you home to your desired haven.

It takes persistence, perseverance, and endurance. Faith and patience take the prize and cannot be made to retreat. Don’t be sluggish. If you don’t resist you will not persist.

You need to be built on the foundation of the rock of My Word so that the gates of hell cannot prevail against you. In Christ, you are in the walls of Salvation and the gates of entrance are praise. Isaiah 60:18. And Jesus told you that the solid rock foundation upon which you can build your life is hearing and doing My Word, then no storm can budge you.

I love you. Cling to My Word and I will show you My Salvation. No harm will come near your tent. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, My dwelling place and I am yours.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:22-24.
