Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

In our last Life Lesson we continued considering the three things that you should know that address the very core and essence of your life. This revelation comes in a prayer from the Holy Spirit penned by My apostle Paul, and he prays that you who believe in My Son may know the hope of My calling, the riches of the glory of My inheritance in the holy ones, and what is the surpassing greatness of My power into you who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19. In these three revelations you find your purpose, the plan, the reward and the power to attain it. It reveals who you are, what you have, and how you achieve it.

And today we are going to address what is the surpassing greatness of the power I have poured into and upon you who believe.” Ephesians 1:19.

But first I want to go on with the prayer because the rest of the prayer defines the power I am speaking about that I have poured into and upon you.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power into us who believe in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:18-23.

What is that power that I direct into you that is in accordance with the working of the strength of My might which I brought about in Christ when I raised Him from the dead and seated Him at My right hand?

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13.

If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11.

Not by human might or power but by My Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. The Holy Spirit who hovered over the void and empty darkness and brought into being the Words I spoke in faith that created all things. He is My promise to you and He is My gift to you that My Son through His death and resurrection came to give you.

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” John 4:10.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38.

When Jesus arrived back at My throne, having purified you of sin and reconciled you to Me, He received the Holy Spirit from Me and poured Him out upon you. He put divinity into humanity and humanity into divinity. He worked in you and in Me for oneness between us.

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life and I promise that same Spirit that raised Him from the dead to raise you up on the last day.

In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.

The Holy Spirit wrought great work with Me to bring you Jesus, to empower Jesus in His earthly sojourn as one like you in all things but sin, and raising Him out of the pit of hell up to His eternal throne as Son of Man.

And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. Luke 1:35.

After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. Luke 4:14.

The working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:18-23.

If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11.

That again is the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of glory.

What is that power in My Spirit? Well, who am I and who is My Son, who is My Spirit and we are one and you are one in us. The strongest and greatest power of all: Love. For I am the Most High and I am love. I pour My love into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit and that is My power going into you to fill you with all the fullness of God. It is love that made you, love that sustains you, love that gave you Jesus, love that redeemed you by the blood of Jesus, love that forgave you, love that saves you, and love that raised you to glory and love that poured down My Spirit on you to make us ONE. Love never fails and neither can you when you are full of My power of love.

And that was the accompanying prayer that Paul prayed that takes you the rest of the way in this journey:

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ whichh surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21.

But there is much more here. It is all about oneness so that you can do the works Jesus did and greater by My Spirit in you and on you. Jesus always spoke of His oneness with Me and you must do the same. And from the oneness He spoke My Words and then I did the works through, with and in Him. And that is how you will do the works as well, just as He did by Oneness with Me.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:6-17.

We will talk more about the Holy Spirit and oneness in our next Life Lesson.

“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:20-21.

I love you. I have called you by name, you are Mine. I will complete the good work I began in you for I am faithful. All I am asking is that you do not limit Me in what I want to do in you, with you, and for you in Christ Jesus your Lord. Remember what is the hope of My calling, what are the riches of the glory of your joint inheritance with Jesus in the saints in light, and what is the surpassing greatness of My power into you who believe.
