The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart from generation to generation. Psalm 33:11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
On each of these Life Lessons I repeat what I said in Part 1 already: I am your creator and I have made each and every one of you unique for a purpose, plan, and reward and I give you the power to fulfill it as specifically tailored to you in the time you have on this earth and then for eternity. There are assignments for both time and eternity but the purpose is always the same. There is a basic plan for all lives for earth as well and a basic plan for eternity but for each one of you when, how, and where it is carried out is totally unique although you are joined together with others, now known as the body of Christ, always known as My everlasting Covenant, which is not static but grows as prophecies are fulfilled and mysteries are revealed, always increasing in grace and favor as My magnificent promises manifest, making you partakers of My divine nature in your humanity to achieve your unique assignments.
In our last life lesson, I spoke to you about your purpose, which is the same as Mine in being love, being one with Me in fellowship and partnership, and being fruitful.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.
Time is given for the completion of purpose and the plans I have for you on this earth. Whenever time is used by you as an individual or by a nation collectively for things that do not work toward the given purpose of love and unity in fellowship with Me and one another in fruitful activity that blesses you and the whole world it is wasted (i.e., acts done without the motive of love mean nothing) and the opportunity to reach perfection is delayed or lost.
As I discussed in Parts 1 and 2 of this lesson, time is an interruption in eternity that allows you to fulfill what you were sent to do on this earth. It is a testing ground for determining your place in the eternal Kingdom. The question about your life then becomes: “Are you using your time wisely in pursuit of your purpose?” Your purpose and assignments are for time and eternity. Knowing your purpose and also the plan that goes with it, which we will discuss today, will allow you to be effective and productive in living this present life in time. Time is a measure, a window that is open now, for you to operate in but soon it will close for everyone on the earth when Adam’s lease expires and Jesus comes to take back the fee interest. Blessed is the one busy with his or her assignment when He returns.
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart. Psalm 90:12.
Now let us begin with the plan for your life on earth as it is now. For now is the acceptable time and now is the day of Salvation. This is the age of grace, which is the age of the Church, the body of Christ.
First and foremost it is My desire and Will that all people be saved and come to know the truth, and once saved that they prosper and be in good health even as their souls prosper by walking in the truth. If you continue in My Word, you are disciples of My Son, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Free from the law of sin and death, free from all that would bind you in addictions, fear, anxiety, torment, jealousy, worry, and the like.
I save you and give you a new heart and put My Spirit in your heart. I put My Words in your mouth and My Spirit in and on you so that you are able to walk in love just like Me. And once you are a new creation in Christ and all for you is new, I do not immediately take you to Heaven though you are now a citizen thereof by virtue of being born again from above. No, physically you are still in the world though you are not of the world.
But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. John 17:13-19.
And He spoke this about all of you right up to this present moment.
I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:20-21.
And I am very clear about why you are still on the earth though in the spirit you are seated with Christ at My right hand even now for purposes of prayer, direction, revelation, impartation, and emancipation from the world, the flesh, and the devil ruling over you. Why are you here on earth at this time? The plan is the same for all born again believers and it is fourfold. It is for the members of the Body of Christ on earth, but how you carry it out, that is, your assignments, are unique and different but all works together as a whole for the Kingdom purpose for which it is designed.
I will now sum up the fourfold plan simply and completely by the following:
(i) you are in the earth to be ambassadors of your home country, which is My Kingdom that I have given you who are the flock of My Son, with a ministry in the earth of reconciliation of all to come home to Me through the new and living way of Salvation (Jesus, Yeshuah);
(ii) you are to be witnesses to Jesus where you are, in your neighborhood and to the ends of the earth;
(iii) you are to do the works that Jesus did and greater works in His Name and by the power of the Holy Spirit in and on you; and
(iv) My Son has released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me interceding with your High Priest Jesus taking down strongholds of the devil in nations and souls and releasing Me through your dominion authority to work for salvation of souls upon the earth thought visions, signs, wonders, and miracles that follow My Word.
So now let us take a look at each one in the light of the Scriptures that witness to these four.
- Ambassadors with a ministry of reconciliation to the homeland.
An ambassador goes to a country which is not his homeland to represent his country there and create good relations. His homeland supports, protects, and provides for all the care and supplies that he needs delivered to him in the foreign country, including a beautiful place to live. He is not worried if he is in a poor country where people are in abject poverty for it is not like that for him. He is in that country but not of that country and he is not bound by its limitations.
And if a war or riots break out in that country, your country will fly in their military to deliver you. I send you the angelic host to guard you in all your ways. That is the army of Heaven and the angels were created to serve you who are heirs of salvation.
I have made you who are the body of Christ in the world a very particular kind of ambassador. You have a ministry of reconciliation in that you are to bring all in the foreign land to salvation in Jesus and make them born again citizens of your homeland, which is the Kingdom of Heaven. You are bringing those among whom you are stationed out of darkness into My marvelous light to the praise of My glory. You are bringing them out of lack to abundance. You are going about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil.
- Witnesses to Jesus
Next Jesus is very clear about what you were to do as His representative and body in the world once you were clothed with the power from on High, that is, the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:4-8.
From where you are to the ends of the earth you are to show My love and light to the world in telling the good news of the gospel of the Kingdom and of Salvation in Jesus. You are to show them by your personal knowledge of Me the joy of My love and what it is like to experience My love every moment of the day and night. Testify to who I am and what I have done for everyone in Jesus. He paid the ransom for ALL.
- Indwelt by My Spirit and the Mystery of Christ in You, Your hope of Glory You are to do the works Jesus did and greater.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:12-17.
Just as Jesus sent His disciples with His authority to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and preach the good news so now He sends you in the full authority He won by His life, death, resurrection and ascension to glory, where I seated you with Him, to do the works He did and greater in His Name and by the power of My Spirit in you and on you.
These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.
And what is the greater work? You can lead people in the prayer of salvation so they are born again from above as a new creation. Jesus could not do that while on earth because He had not died for your sins yet so the wall of sin and separation still was a rift between us that you could not cross on your own. Thus, the work of reconciliation, which is now complete.
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.
- The Royal Priesthood of Prevailing Prayer
There is one more to make the fourfold and it has to do with His anointing by the Holy Spirit as a priest forever according to Melchizedek when He returned to Me in Heaven to now sit upon the throne reserved for man.
Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10.
You are now given the great office of the royal priesthood which I foretold to the Israelites as the desire of My heart when I brought them out of Egypt on eagle’s wings as a Covenant people to be My own special treasure though the whole earth is Mine. They were to be a light to the nations, calling in the gentiles to join them in the oneness of My Word and My Covenant. But they broke My Covenant and were unfaithful, going to other gods, idols of gold and silver. So I made one tribe that was more loyal than the others to be My priesthood to minister to Me and the people but they failed at that as well. But now the royal priesthood is instated in the New Covenant in Jesus and will not fail for your great High Priest ever lives to make intercession for you.
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22.
And I have invited you to come with Him as the High Priest of your words that are in perfect agreement with His to My throne to receive mercy for all the nations and to find grace for wondrous solutions, signs and wonders right in the Holy of Holies before Me.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16.
I watch over My Word to perform and your prayers, in union with His, each morning and evening are taking down strongholds that the devil has entrenched in the nations he has plunged into darkness, poverty, and pain, sending in light, lifting up Jesus, and getting My Will done in the earth. Prayer is the most powerful of all in changing stony hearts to hearts open to My Spirit.
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.
I have put My Words in your mouth and My Spirit in and on you so that you can be just as Jesus was while on earth:
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.
It is all prepared and waiting for you to advance in your fourfold plan for as He is so are you in this world in Spirit and truth.
I love you. Do not be conformed to this world with its darkness, peril, and limitations, instead be transformed by the renewal of your mind in My Word to know who you are in Jesus and the plan for your life and then I can conform you to the image of My Son who, like Me, is Love and Light. It is time for you to live the life you were born to live—the most beautiful life ever lived.
