For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
It may look like you have failed, that you have lost it all, that your destiny is gone, and you are to spend the rest of your years in regret, but that is not the truth in Me. My gifts and calling are not gone just because you started wrong, you still can finish strong and have your full reward. I will never revoke My gifts and calling for your life. And here is the secret that many do not know because of their self-condemnation, when you turn and hear My call again, I restore, I do not take you back to where you missed it, but forward in your upward call, and not only forward, but I make it better than it was before. And in Jesus, I make it like your sin had never been. If you really want to know Me, this is something you must know and you will never go forward to be the royal priest I made you to be unto Me.
I had Moses saved from death as an infant, found by Pharaoh’s daughter and adopted to be the next Pharaoh and from that position he could have saved his people from slavery and made them favored as rulers in the land of Egypt. Instead he let his temper rule, knew his position of power, and rashly murdered an Egyptian, though he knew it was wrong for he hid him in the sand, and then, when he was found out, he had to run for his life to the backside of the desert and lived in mediocrity for forty years. It looked like he had lost it all, all that he could have done for his people. But I can work with things you do if you will turn to work with Me anew.
Now, consider this and you will find relief in your regret: If Moses had stayed in Pharaoh’s favor and household, then he never would have taken My people out of Egypt to the land I had promised and designated for them to be My nation of a royal priesthood and a people set apart living My laws and under My jurisdiction and rule. There never would have been the Passover and there never would have been a tabernacle in the wilderness. It looked all wrong and ruined but it was not. I had looked ahead and provided the Lamb already. Just as I had foretold to Abraham many years before.
God said to Abram, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years. But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with many possessions . . . On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.” Genesis 15:13-14;18.
And remember too what I showed Abraham about Jesus? He saw the day of Jesus before time and rejoiced:
Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So the two of them walked on together. Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” Genesis 22:6-8.
And I did. Do not worry, your sin is no surprise to Me, I already have the solution, the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
Remember Joseph? In his case it was his brothers who put him in the pit and all looked lost but it was not.
Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come closer to me.” And they came closer. And he said, “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.” Genesis 45:4-5.
And when Moses took up the call when I came to him a second time, he came with Me in humility, no longer thinking he knew it all and could do it all, and the great adventure became new again. And I rewrote the story of his life and made him the hero of faith he truly had always been in My eyes. Just read what I say of him today:
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s edict. By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to endure ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that he who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as though they were passing through dry land; and the Egyptians, when they attempted it, were drowned. Hebrews 11:23-29.
You will notice I left out the murder, the flight from justice, and the forty years in the desert as the son-in-law of a pagan priest, that was not a priest to Me, and his total disregard of his kinsman in slavery for all those years. Those forty years were like they had never been.
And Moses found confirmation of his calling when I revealed the story of Abraham to him as he wrote down the book of Genesis as I revealed it to him to become part of the written word I gave him for the edification of future generations so all would know Me.
And do you remember Jonah? He ran from his gifts and calling to preach repentance and new life but when he saw the storm and the danger he had put into the lives of others, he repented and took responsibility for his actions. And what happened? A wonder at his voice of thanksgiving in the sea. I sent a creature of My creation from the beginning, a very big fish with no teeth, you know that one as a baleen whale, and I had that creature spew Jonah out on the shore from the depths of the sea. And that news preceded him to Nineveh, the prophet from the depths of the sea. It prepared his way for a great awakening in that city. It made it better than it would have been before the incident.
If you want to take them up again, My gifts and calling for your life are irrevocable for they are from everlasting. You can still finish strong. Like Paul and so many others that started out wrong but ended right and did works of excellence, wonders with Me. You can reject my gifts and calling, but I am always there to give you another chance. And as I have told you many times, even in the parable of the prodigal son, when you return and I restore, it is better than it was before. Remember the workers sent to the vineyard? The last got the same as the first. Just be willing and obedient before the day closes for you leaving no further chance. Do not be like Herod, like Judas, like king Saul to whom I gave so many chances but they refused My report.
The question is: whose report are you going to believe? There are only two reports, Mine or the devil’s, life or death, the Blessing or the curse—which will you believe in your heart and speak with your mouth? You are the prophet of your own life. It is all in who you choose to know as your master. And no matter to whom you give lip service, who you have chosen to believe is shown by what is in your heart, for your own words and thoughts produce the fruit of your life and they come from what you have allowed to plant in your heart.
You can walk by faith or by sight. You can life by the Spirit or by the flesh. You can take the viewpoint of My Word or that of the devil’s word. You can see things in light or in darkness. Whose report will you believe?
And the viewpoint, the report, the word that you believe and speak is the one that you will have—that will build and frame your life and that of your children and your children’s children until someone changes the report.
Death and life are in the power (hand) of your tongue and that is what you are taking, building, and the fruit you are producing. It is also the seed you are planting more and more of in your own heart and those who are hearing your words.
It is time you consider whose report you believe, speak and live. This is a matter of life or death, blessing or cursing, and of whether you will live in the abundance of the promised land or wander aimlessly all your life in a dry and barren wasteland. This was what happened to the vast majority of My people whom I so gloriously redeemed from slavery to freedom and to whom I had given the report of a land that I was giving them of abundance, beauty, and amazing fruitfulness that I had planned for them from everlasting. All they had to do was go in and take possession of their inheritance.
But they rejected My report and believed the report that was made by those who walked by sight of the facts rather than by faith in the truth of My report. Facts are temporal and change, you can make them line up with the truth for that is what they are waiting to do (all creation is groaning under the corruption of sin). You can stand on the truth with faith for it will never change.
However, there were two of the twelve chosen spies that went into the Promised Land to make a report that were of a different spirit. They walked by faith and not by sight. They believed My report. I am speaking of Joshua and Caleb. They fully obeyed Me. They told the people the land was just as I had said—fruitful and abundant, filled with beautiful cities, large homes, vineyards, fruit trees and wells. And as I had told them, filled with wicked people who were strong and had fortified their cities. But that was no problem for them for if they went in, I would fight for them as they had seen Me do against the Egyptians without them even lifting a finger. All they had to do was believe My report and follow Me by going forward.
But all the people chose to believe the evil report and rejected Mine and with their own mouths. They moaned and cried in fear and spoke stoutly against Me, attributing evil intent to Me to have them destroyed by the people dwelling in the land I had promised to them. They concluded they would not go in but would rather die in the desert than in the beautiful land I had promised them.
And what they said prevailed for their lives over what I said for it was the determination of their heart. They indeed never entered the promised land and died wandering in the desert just as they had believed and foretold.
But, Joshua and Caleb spoke the words of My report and they got every promise I had planned and took the promised land and enjoyed it. Even though the others died young, Joshua and Caleb went in at over eighty years old stronger than they had been forty years before when they were ready to go but were stopped from their vision that agreed with Mine by the people with whom they were yoked.
I have redeemed you from the slavery of sin and death in Jesus and I have prepared a life of abundance for you in Him and a life of good deeds prepared in Him for you in advance, but this is not the report that the world, the flesh, and the devil will give you. And you, like My people whom I redeemed from slavery and brought to the promised land, can believe My report or the devil’s report.
You may say you believe Me and that you would not choose the devil’s report over Mine, but examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.
If sickness and infirmity, an evil report from the doctor, or any form of symptoms have come against you or entered in, what are you saying? Look at your thoughts and words. Are you rebuking it in Jesus’ Name and standing on My many promises of healing of all your ills? Are you coming to My throne in confidence as My royal priesthood and receiving healing mercy and finding My grace (My life in you with every solution to every problem) just when you need it? My Name is the LORD your healer and in seeing Jesus you are seeing Me. He never refused healing to anyone but only those who connected with Him by faith in that Word were healed. But the healing power was flowing and still is and if you are in Christ, He is in you and the Spirit is in you and you have healing power in you can connect with by faith. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit by permitting the spirit of infirmity into your temple. The priests of old could bring nothing impure into the temple.
And if you receive that report of sickness and attribute it to Me, as the Israelites attributed the evil that would kill them in the Promised Land to Me, the result will be the report you are acting upon in your thoughts, words, and actions will be what you have in your life. And all will know by your words. You and your children. And you can pass down that belief in the evil report that you accept and they will do the same unless they come to know Me better than you do and break that report. Otherwise they will expect and accept sickness and disease to take their lives and will offer it no resistance but submit to it in kind.
You can live a life you and I love and rejoice in or you can keep yourself in the barren wilderness of poverty and pain all your life and the lives of your children and your children’s children until someone wakes up to My gifts and call in Christ Jesus. And the good news is that My gifts and calling are still there, they, like My everlasting Covenant of love, are irrevocable.
If you reject My report, there is only one other, and that is the devil’s, which is the lying report. If you take that report as your life plan you will have times of happiness but they will be fleeting and you will have pride, lusts, addictions, offense, fear, regrets, torment, bitterness, guilt, shame, pride, and depression if you fully live his report. And your family will have this as well.
If only you would listen to Me and accept My report.
He opens their ear to instruction, and commands that they return from evil. If they hear and serve Him, they will end their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures. But if they do not hear, they shall perish by the sword and they will die without knowledge. Job 36:10-12.
“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being (shalom) would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sand, and your offspring like its grains; their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence.” Isaiah 48:17-19.
If only you learned this early, as I instructed My people to teach My Words to their children, to the younger generation, so they would never forget Me but remember. Seek Me early and seek Me earnestly so you will believe the good report and live days of heaven on earth, you and your children and your children’s children.
“The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth; who keeps lovingkindness for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.” Exodus 34:6-7.
Now do you understand why? But you must know that if any one believes My report and turns to Me it all starts new and they and they children will be blessed for thousands upon thousands of generations, in other words, forever blessed by what you have confessed and lived in agreement with My good report, you and those you influence to walk the same. Seeds sown, even home grown.
Death and life are in your power, in the hand of your tongue, what are you going to say today in the face of opposition? What are you going to do today? Will you even pray? With no vision, people are unrestrained in lust and evil, with no knowledge of the truth, they perish with the lies they believe. Do you care?
I love you. What you love you will live. But remember even if you went with the wrong report up till now, things are not gone. They are all still there for you in Me. It is time to enjoy your gifts and My call. You still have time, redeem it and do not waste it. You only have one life to live. It is time to live your royal priesthood—your royal mandate and sacred call. Are you ready? I am.
