Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” John 6:29.
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day. John 6:40.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Under the Old Covenant, righteousness came by keeping all the Law. Under the New Covenant, righteousness comes by faith in Jesus. Under the Old Covenant no one, not even one was righteous. Romans 3:10. Under the New Covenant all who believe are the righteousness of God in Christ.
Under the Old Covenant the people received My direction by following the word of the anointed prophet, under the New Covenant, you follow My Spirit in you and on you.
Under the Old Covenant you were to love Me with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and your neighbor as yourself. Under the New Covenant you are to believe in the Name of My Son and love one another as Jesus loves you.
Under the Old Covenant, you were walking in the flesh in slavery to sin and death without the Spirit in you, for your spirits were not alive to Me for you could not be born again until Jesus had died and risen. Under the New Covenant you can be born again so that your spirit is alive to Me and can join with My Spirit, enabling you to walk in the Spirit freed from the law of sin and death by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus so that sin has no power over you.
Under the Old Covenant, you owed a tremendous debt to Me for your sins and trespasses. You owed everyone the debt of keeping the law perfectly. Under the New covenant your debt has been nailed to the Cross and paid in full by the Blood of Jesus, and now you owe no man a debt except to love him.
The Old Covenant could not save you. No one was justified by the Law. The New Covenant can save you for all are now justified by faith in Christ Jesus.
The Old Law was one of works. The New Law is that of faith which gives you access to the grace is which you now stand.
How then do you obtain all the benefits of the New Covenant? Not by works but by faith. Only believe.
Remember after Jesus had multiplied the five loaves and two fish on the hillside of Galilee and the people all followed Him to the other side of the lake the next day? They asked Him how to do the works of God. Jesus answered them: “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John 6:29.
A man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:28. For by grace you have been saved though faith, and that is not of yourselves, but it is My gift to you, not as a result of your works, but as a result of the finished work of Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9. He has done the labor and you have come into His gain. He bore all your sins, sorrows, fear, poverty, failure, weaknesses, and diseases and gave you His righteousness, joy, peace, riches in glory, victory, strength, and healing. He took your death and gave you eternal life. He took your punishment and gave you His reward. He took your sentence of condemnation and went to the dust of death so that you would be set free and never taste the dust of eternal death. He took your separation from Me and gave you His intimate sonship. He made you My child, My heir, and My friend.
He went to hell for you so that you never have to go. And I raised Him from there to the heights of Heaven as the first born again Man—the firstborn of many brethren. He opened the way for you to come into the Kingdom.
And what do you need to do to get all these wonderful benefits? Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and all your household will be saved. Acts 16:31. And when you are cleansed in the Blood of Jesus by faith in His Name, never again think of yourself as unclean or unholy, what I have cleansed you can no longer consider unholy. Acts 11:9. You are the righteousness of God in Christ and there is no higher righteousness than that for that is My righteousness. And it is yours in Christ by faith.
And when you believe, I place you securely in Christ and seal you there with the Holy Spirit. And in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:3. He is your peace. He is your wisdom. He is your righteousness, your sanctification and your redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30. When you have Jesus, you have everything. He is the One you need more than anything else in Heaven or on earth. He has presented you before Me holy, blameless, and beyond reproach. As He is so are you.
You may think there are things you need that would make you happy but I am telling you now what you need above all else to have true joy that no one can take from you is Jesus. There is no other Name given to men by which you are saved. If you have Him, you have the Kingdom. In Him, I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the Heavens. Ephesians 1:3. In Him you are cleansed, forgiven, holy and blameless in My sight. Ephesians 1:4-8. In Him you have all you need for life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:1-4. In Him you are reconciled with Me, 2 Corinthians 5:19, so that you can come with confidence right to My throne for mercy and grace in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. All My promises find their “yes” to you in Him. 2 Corinthians 1:20. He makes you My child and My heir so that you can call Me “Abba, Father!” Galatians 4:4-7. You are made complete in Him. Colossians 2:10. He reveals Me to you. John 14:9, 21; Matthew 11:27; John 1:18. He opens Heaven to you. John 10:7. He is your good Shepherd giving you abundant life and leading you to prosperity, peace, and eternal life. John 10:10-11. He is the resurrection and the life, and those that believe in Him will live even if they die and everyone who lives and believes in Him will never die. John 11:25-26. He will raise you up on the last Day. John 6:40.
He is perfect and in Him you are perfect. For as He is, so are you in this world for I have placed you in Him and seated you with Him in heavenly places.
And as you behold Him you will become like Him and you will go from glory to glory as you receive grace upon grace. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He has and is all your need. He is the author and perfecter of your faith.
He is your Great and Good Shepherd. I entrust you to Him when you believe and I have given Him command to keep you and to never let you be lost. John 6:39. He must raise you up on the last day. You are safe in His Hand and your position of righteousness with Me cannot be taken from you. You have a joy in Jesus that no one can take from you once you believe.
He is your great High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek (which in Hebrew means: King of Righteousness) ever interceding for you and able to save you to the uttermost. And by His Blood, He released you from your sins and made you a kingdom of priests unto Me. You are My royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people set apart, called out of darkness into My own marvelous light.
I have given you Jesus because of My great love for you. Take advantage of so great a Savior and so great a salvation. For all the Old Covenant was only a shadow of the reality to come. A shadow shows you the form of the one casting it but it does not show you their face. Now you can gaze upon My glory shining on the Face of Christ. Once I dwelt in the Holy of Holies behind the veil that separated Me from the meeting tent, and only the High Priest could enter behind the veil but when Jesus died that veil split in two from top to bottom, Matthew 27:51, and gave you full access to Me. For out of the shadows from behind the veil stepped Jesus your true light, and revealed the Light of the world in your dark unholy night.
The darkness is over and the true light begins to shine. But you have not seen anything yet! Wait until the knowledge of My glory covers the earth as the waters cover the sea! Wait till My Son returns and My heavenly city descends to join with earth—new heavens and a new earth where righteousness prevails. It has not even entered your mind what I have prepared for you who love Me. It is beyond the very best you can imagine or even ask for. And it is all yours by faith in Jesus.
When you have Him you have everything for when you have Him, you have Me. John 14:6; John 16:14-15. And there is no one above Me and there is no one who loves, honors and rejoices in you like I do. You are My treasure and you are most precious in My eyes.
I love you. Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—totally saved in every area of your life forever. And let Me tell you, it only gets better from here through eternity for you. Let Me lavish My lovingkindness on you. That has been My plan from the start. Everything is for you and you find it all in Jesus. In Him you are COMPLETE.
