The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Exodus 15:2.
But you will chase your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword; five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. Leviticus 26:7-8.
Blessed are you, O Israel; who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, Who is the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! So your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread upon their high places. Deuteronomy 33:9.
When the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers, they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing, and cried, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” Judges 7:20.

All of them are wielders of the sword, Expert in war; Each man has his sword at his side, Guarding against the terrors of the night. Song of Songs 3:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Turn every attack of Satan into a song of retaliation—a song of victory. To every frontal attack of Satan retaliate with My Word, the Word of your Almighty God, in song. For I am your strength and song and I fight your battles for you. I have become your salvation. And that Word of Salvation took flesh and made My Name (יהוה) manifest.
Yes, turn every attack of Satan into a song of retaliation, for the victory is yours in Christ Jesus who is your strength and song. Your song of Salvation, your song of deliverance. And He leads you out of oppression and slavery with My Word in joyful singing.
Fight with the word but make it into a joyous hymn of praise rising like incense before My throne. The Song of the Sword. For the Sword of the Spirit is My Word. Ephesians 6:17. And it is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword. Hebrews 4:12. “A sword, a sword sharpened and also polished! Sharpened to make a slaughter, polished to flash like lightning.” Ezekiel 21:9-10.
Do you recall from the Book of Revelation how Jesus, the Word of God, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, fights Satan, that ancient serpent, that great dragon, Revelation 12:9, and his cohorts in the endtime battle? By the sword of His mouth. Revelation 19:15; Revelation 19:21. The Sword of the Spirit. For My Word is Spirit breathed. The Song of the Sword. And have you never read the prophet Isaiah? “In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.” Isaiah 27:1. And in the very next line, Isaiah sings a song of My vineyard: “In that day, a vineyard of wine, sing of it! ‘I, the Lord, am its keeper; I water it every moment (the water of the Word). So that no one will damage it, I guard it night and day.’” Isaiah 27:2.
And earlier in his message Isaiah prophesied the ultimate downfall of the archangel Lucifer who became Satan, the accuser of the brethren. Isaiah wrote about the fall of Lucifer and his final confinement to the pit and he called him “clothed with the slain who are pierced by the sword.” Isaiah 14:19.
And what did Isaiah then tell you: “He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a select arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver.” Isaiah 49:2. Yes, you overcome Satan and his demons in the same way—by the Blood of the Lamb and the WORD of your testimony. The Sword of the Spirit. The Song of the Sword. My Sword is satiated in Heaven (My Word is established forever in Heaven), filled with the blood of the Lamb. Isaiah 34:5-6.
Yes, take up the Sword of My Word, and let Me fight for you by My mighty Hand. You will know My Hand of favor, but My enemies fall by that Sword. It saves and it slays. It judges the thoughts and motives of the heart. Hebrews 4:12-13. At the very end, I will execute judgment by fire and by My sword on all. Isaiah 66:14-16. And Jesus told you this too. He said, “He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words, has one who judges him, the Word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.” John 12:48. My Words are eternal life. John 12:50. Speak life that you and your descendants may live. Deuteronomy 30:19.
There is only one way you can fight by which you can win every attack of Satan. Why don’t you use it? Don’t be sluggish but be alert and ready. And I have told you and equipped you for battle since of old. Have you been with Me all this time and still do not know this?
I told the secret to Joshua: My Word (the Bible) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will have success wherever you go. Joshua 1:8. And the word you translate as “meditate” in Hebrew is the word “hagah” which means to utter, mutter, speak, moan, growl, and muse. (I use the same word in Psalm 1:2 and Psalm 38:28, and other psalms and proverbs.) Do you see? It means you repeat it until it is stored in your heart. From the heart flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:23. And then when you are attacked or tested it will be in your arsenal as your weapon. You can then growl it, moan it, speak it, utter it! And it is a sword to pull down strongholds and every tactic of the evil one. Pierce him with the sword. It is the ONLY way you can put him to flight. Jesus used it when Satan tempted him in the wilderness, and so must you. You do not live on bread alone but on every Word from My mouth.
You can think of it this way now that you know computers: Your brain is hardware and My Word is the software that reprograms your brain so you have victory over all the forces of the enemy and it has a virus remover to get rid of all lies and untruths that Satan throws your way to cause you to doubt My Word. You see, from the beginning that is the way he attacks. He went to Eve and questioned the truth of My Word. And that was the way he trapped her and defeated her and Adam. Before he defeats you, he has to disarm you. He has to take the Word away from you. If you are fighting a battle with someone you try to take their weapon away, disarm them, and that is what he has to do with you to win. Remember the parable My Son told of the seed and the sower? He clearly you showed you what Satan is after is to take the Word out of your heart so he can ensnare you and make you of no use to My Kingdom and stop you from ever bearing fruit.
Satan comes to entrap and use your mind for his purposes and to stop you from your destiny. He takes you captive by calling into question the integrity of My Word. Jesus came as the incarnate Word of God to defeat Satan, take the curse away from you, give you eternal life and give you back the truth that sets you free. To set your minds free and make every area of your life successful. And He told you how: If you continue in My Word you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” And whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Where My Spirit is there is freedom. The Sword of the Spirit, My Word, alone can set you free from evil and darkness. My Word alone is spirit and life.
My Son came to give you victorious life. Satan took mankind captive with a lie. The first words he said to mankind: “Has God indeed said . . .” He questioned the integrity of My Word. And then he said it was not true. He still does the same.
Though you walk in the flesh you do not war according to the flesh. You bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Any thought you don’t take captive will take you captive. And bondage in your life is a house of thoughts that imprison you. Your problem is not your past but how you think about your past. Pierce every thought with the Sword of the Spirit and make it listen to what Jesus has to say. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6.
Let Me guide you. You see yourself in certain ways because of your thoughts. But I want you to see yourself the way I do. The Israelites saw themselves like grasshoppers so they refused to take the Promised Land. But Joshua and Caleb saw themselves as I made them in their mother’s womb to be. Champions. Victorious. Vigorous and strong. And they went in and conquered the land. And they stayed young despite their age. Your mind is the battlefield where the devil comes to fight you and steal your destiny.
You must understand My Word as a spiritual weapon and put it to use. I have given you My full armor so that you can stand strong in My power against the wiles of Satan and his demons and come out victorious. All My armor has to do with your thoughts. First I tell you to gird your loins with truth. When you live your life based on My Word you reproduce truth and eliminate error. So use My Word to determine what you reproduce in your life and what you eliminate. Next I tell you to put on the breastplate of righteousness. This covers your heart. The devil will always come to steal your joy in Jesus and your faith by condemnation by telling you that you are no good, that you have done too much wrong, that you wasted your life, that it is too late now, and you cannot do anything worthwhile now with your life, in other words, you blew it. He makes you look only at yourself and what YOU have done that is wrong. And makes you think that I am displeased with you. But My Word tells you that My Son’s blood is the strongest cleansing agent in the universe and that it has removed all your sins and you are beloved and pleasing in My sight and I have plans for you filled with shalom and good things, a future and a hope. And that your life is about giving Me glory and witnessing for Me and not for money and earthly fame or prestige. Put up that shield of faith. But you must put to use the sword of the Spirit which is My Word. It is nuclear. My Word is living and powerful, sharper than any two edged (two mouthed) sword. When you get My Word in you, it is living, it is alive, and no creature can hide from it. If there is a work of Satan in your life it cannot hide from it. And not the Sword is two edged—it finds your enemy and slays him and then heals your wounds better than the finest surgeon’s tool, better and more powerful than laser surgery, for My Word is light. A slayer and a healer. I send My Word to HEAL you and to DELIVER you from all destruction. Psalm 107:20.
And meditate on it day and night. When you meditate on My Word day and night you are like a tree planted near living water that brings forth fruit and everything he does prospers. It is easy to meditate on My Word. Hagah. Ruminate. Mummer to yourself. Chew on it. Simply read Scripture, put it down in your heart, and recall it to speak it at various times of the day. When you meditate on Scripture you are downloading the software that reprograms your brain and wipes out the viruses. And read what you need. If you are dealing with condemnation, then put Romans 8:1-2 in your mind and repeat it when the thoughts of condemnation come. There are many Scriptures about not to fear. If you are dealing with sickness or a spirit of infirmity you need to download into your heart all the healing scriptures and groan, moan and utter My Word against that spirit day and night. Do not see yourself and define yourself as a sick, weak or old person. You are healed, loved and filled with new life. I forgive all your sins, heal all your diseases, pull you out of the pit, fill your days with good things, and renew your youth like the eagle’s. See yourself that way and speak it out. And do forget that you cast out the demons in the Name of Jesus. I have given you His Name, use it with faith.
In Deuteronomy 6:6-8, I tell you to put My Words in your heart and to speak them at certain crucial times of the day: when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. These are the times you are most vulnerable to the attacks of Satan for your mind is not busy with jobs you are working on or classes you are taking. Usually you find your most depressing times when accusing thoughts, bitter thoughts or lustful thoughts enter your head is when you lie down in bed, when you first get up in the morning, when you are alone sitting in your home, and when you are driving somewhere or traveling to a distance away (like on a plane, etc.) and you have a little downtime. And that is the times you should teach your children, if you have them, the Word of God also. When you are busy is not when you struggle with your thoughts. It is in the middle of the night when you awake that the demons attack with thoughts of fear, depression, bitterness, defeat and anxiety, and when you have a Scripture in your heart to bring up to conquer the thought you can defeat the devil with the Word every time. Psalm 63:6. But if you have no Scripture in your heart you cannot. You cannot just tell yourself not to think about the evil thought. The more you battle that thought the more you think about it. But if you replace it with another thought which is more powerful you rout out the one you don’t want. If Satan or his demons come against you with condemnation reply with Romans 8:1 and Scriptures on your redemption and righteousness from My Word. If he comes with fear of lack, speak My Words of provision and that I am your Shepherd and you shall not want, and so many other Scriptures of My provision and prosperity. I have given you many great and magnificent promises. And meditating on Scripture instantly sets you free. It does not take hours. It knocks out the other thought immediately. And if you sing it, it is even sharper and swifter.
You can live free from addictions, fear, thoughts of suicide, depression, anger, bitterness, and anything else that raises its head against My Word. The Seed of the Woman, Genesis 3:15, the imperishable Seed of My Word, 1 Peter 1:22-15, crushes the devil’s head EVERY TIME he dares to rear it in your life. Why won’t you use so powerful a weapon? It is filled with the Blood of the Lamb and with the Word of My Testimony in your mouth. And it never returns to Me void but achieves the purpose for which I sent it.
And Jesus, before He took on flesh and lived among you as God and man, He appeared as My Messenger and He appeared with the sword. He did to Adam, Genesis 3:24, to Balaam, Numbers 22:31 (and read Joshua 13:22), to Joshua, Joshua 5:13, and, after He had lived among you, died, been raised by Me, and ascended back to Heaven, He appeared to John on Patmos with the Sword, Revelation 1:16, Revelation 19:15. Imitate Him and take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is My Word. He spoke nothing else. John 12:47-50.
I love you. I have armed you for battle. Meditate (hagah) on My Words and have success. Psalm 1:1-3. Never be without the high praises of God in your mouth and the two edged sword in your hand. Psalm 149:6.
