Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.
“And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:49.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:17-19.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
It is time for you to go forward and take hold of that which is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:17-19. Stop wandering in the wilderness. You have circled this mountain long enough. Deuteronomy 1:3. It is time that you went up Mt. Zion and experienced Pentecost for yourself.
It is time that you function on a new level. I need you for the fields are ripe for harvest. Why stand idle all day? I need you out in the vineyard to bring the whole world your Yeshuah—Jesus—Salvation. They are like sheep without a shepherd and many are dying from thirst. Won’t you give them living water to drink? You who believe can have it flowing into you till it fills you and overflows. You can be filled with all the fullness of the Holy Spirit. For He whom I sent, My Son Jesus, speaks My Words, for He gives the Spirit without measure. John 3:34. I do not ration My gift of the Spirit but have poured Him out upon you richly through Jesus Christ your Savior. Titus 3:6. When you believe in Christ you join with Me and become one spirit with Me. Jesus asked this when He prayed to Me for all who would ever believe in Him through My Word the night before He gave His life for you: “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23.
Have you been filled with the Holy Spirit? On Pentecost they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
But you may be thinking that Pentecost was about two thousand years ago, but that is not where it stopped. Jesus’ death and resurrection was about the same time but you know that His death and resurrection apply directly to you and that you who are saved have experienced it in your life. You are born again and have a living spirit because of it.
But let Me show you from My Word.
My Son called the gift of the Holy Spirit “the Promise of the Father.” I did promise this to you. I promised you eternal life and that is in My Son but it is by My Spirit that I put that life in you and it is the Spirit that will raise your mortal body to an immortal glorious one just as He did Jesus. But that is not the promise that Jesus is referring to. I promised Noah that My Spirit would not always strife with man but that one day we would operate as one. Genesis 6:3. I would endow you with My power by My Spirit in you. I revealed My promise to My prophets also. Especially Isaiah, Ezekiel and Joel. I told Ezekiel: “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:25-27. And I revealed to Joel: “It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29. And My prophet Isaiah wrote: “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:
And Jesus told more about this wonderful promise of the Holy Spirit: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Paracletos—one by your side as your counselor, advocate, comforter, teacher, helper, strength and guide), that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17. “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:25-26. “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7. “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” John 16:12-15.
And before He ascended to Heaven, He gathered His followers together and He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what I, the Father, had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5. And He told them more, “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
And it happened as He had said. When He reached My throne and I exalted Him in glory at My right hand with the glory He had before the world began, He received from Me the promise of the Holy Spirit and poured Him forth on the believers who were waiting for the gift of the Holy Spirit on Mt. Zion. Acts 2:33. And what happened when He poured out My promise on mankind? Suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where the expectant followers of My Son (120 of them) were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.” Acts 2:1-3. You will notice that the gift of My Holy Spirit did not just fall on mass but came individually to rest on and enter the heart of each believer. It is a very personal gift. The Holy Spirit resides in each believer individually. He is there for YOU. You have His full attention.
But you may be thinking this was a onetime visit, but not so. You will find Him rushing down again in Acts 8, Acts 10 and Acts 19 as new believers experienced Him. But I give you My Word in confirmation that you can also receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Just read what Peter told the crowds who were present to see the original Pentecost and wanted to have the same gift as the disciples had received: “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” Acts 2:38-39. My promise of the Holy Spirit in you and on you, poured richly into your heart, is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as I call to Myself. And it is My Will that all men be saved and come to know the truth. And that includes YOU. I have called you from your mother’s womb. I have called you by name.
Receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And earnestly desire His gifts (charisma—grace endowments which divinely empowers a believer to share in My work with others and yourself). And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to Me; always giving thanks for all things in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ to Me your Father. Ephesians 5:18-20.
My Son came to bring you abundant life. John 10:10. The life of a conqueror. The life of an overcomer. Do not refuse to come to Him to have that life, which is life indeed. Do not be like the Israelites who refused to take My promise to them, the Promised Land, and instead spent their lives in the wilderness of the desert wandering around the same mountain. Deuteronomy 1:1-3. Receive and be filled with the Holy Spirit. And My promise of the Holy Spirit is there for you. You can have it now. Just make sure you have received Jesus and confessed Him as LORD and believed in your heart that I raised Him from the dead (saved and sealed in Jesus by the Holy Spirit) and you should be water baptized (although Cornelius and his household got the water baptism last), then just open your heart before Me now and pray that Jesus will baptize you in the Holy Spirit. I give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him. Luke 11:13. And I give Him to Jesus to pour out on you. And in that gift I pour My love into your heart.
The wonderful Holy Spirit, who will give you the power to live a godly life and keep My law of love. I have not given you a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. I have clothed you in power from on High, Jesus baptizes you in the Holy Spirit and fire! Acts 2:33, Luke 3:16.
Power from on High. I anoint you with the Holy Spirit and with power, so that you, like Jesus, can go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for I am with you—not by human power or might, but by My Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38; Zechariah 4:6.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Power, Love, and a sound mind, the anointed mind, which is called the mind of Christ (the anointed One). Power, dunamis in Greek. Like dynamite. Power from on High, the power that sends My Word into combustion to become My Word of power that creates, sustains and upholds all.
And you have this power residing in you. You are no longer the woman crawling along the ground trying to pull the Power out of Jesus, she was not a born again, Spirit-filled, new creation in Christ as you are—nor are you the beggar at the side of the road begging to see, he was not born again either for Jesus had not died yet nor had I raised Him from the dead. But you are, and I have filled with power that can do exceedingly, abundantly, gloriously above all you can ask or think. Isn’t it time you became aware of this? Paul was aware of this power in him and he operated in it with mighty deeds, miracles, signs and wonders as he preached the Gospel and he prayed that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened so that you would know the greatness of the power I have put into you. Ephesians 1:18-19. Isn’t it time you renewed your mind to know just what you have in Christ? You have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Holy Spirit who is from Me, so that you may know the things freely given to you in Christ by Me, which things you also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13.
And He will be there for you if you only will be aware of Him and follow His lead. And He will give you charisma just when they are needed.
I love you. I have given you the Holy Spirit. Pursue love and desire earnestly the charisma, especially that you may prophesy. Take hold of the life that is life indeed. And do it now.
