The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Jesus came to save you. I so loved the world I gave you My only begotten Son so that you would not perish but have eternal life in Him. He did not come to condemn the world but to save it. John 3:16-17. And the word “save” in the original language it was written in (Greek) is the word “sozo.” Sozo means to rescue, to deliver from danger, to save from peril, to heal, to restore, to make whole, to cure, and to make well. He redeemed you from the curse of the law and put all who believe in Him as Lord into Covenant with Me and THE BLESSING through the promise of the Spirit by faith. Galatians 3:13-14.
My apostle John by the Holy Spirit, who testifies to Jesus, tells you that My Son appeared for this purpose: to undo the work the devil had done. 1 John 3:8. You often see this verse translated as “to destroy the works of the devil,” and that is a sense of it, but the word translated as “destroy” in English is, in the original language of Greek it was written in, the word “luo.” Luo means “loose,” “untie,” “set at naught,” “dissolve” and “annul.” It is the same verb Jesus used when Lazarus was raised from the dead and He commanded, “Untie him and let him go free,” John 11:44, referring to removing the burial clothes that bound him all up. John the Baptist used the same word, “luo,” when he said, “As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie (luo) the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Luke 3:16. Sinning complicates your life and ties you all up in knots, twisted, and bound up, and this is what the devil does to you when he steals My Word from you and entangles you in his lies and his will. And it is the word My Son used when He set the bent over women free from her infirmity.
Luo is also the word My Son used when He healed on the Shabbat and said to the protesting synagogue leader, “You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath untie (luo) his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water him? And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released (luo) from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16. It is also the same verb used for untying the colt on which Jesus rode as they spread palm branches along His path. And in Matthew 18, it is the same verb “luo” about what you loose on earth (luo) has been loosed in Heaven. It is the same word, “luo,” that is translated broken when Jesus stated that the Scriptures cannot be broken, My Word is established forever, “Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken (luo)), do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.” John 10:34-38.
My Words and works cannot be undone and will triumph in the end. But the work of the devil can be broken and undone by the Blood of Jesus and the Word of your testimony (My Testament). You can be restored for all he has done to devastate your health, your body, your destiny, your family, and your nation. I will restore to you the years the devil stole. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who had been oppressed by the devil. Acts 10:38.
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, Jesus Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless (katargeó: to annul, bring to nought, to render inoperative, abolish, make of no effect) him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
Jesus has redeemed you. He has made it for you that have received Him as your Lord and are in Him, and thus in Covenant with Me, as if you had never sinned. His work on the Cross and My work in raising Him from the dead, has freed you from the curse of the law of sin and death. He has reversed the curse for you, He has brought the devil’s work in you to naught. He has undone what the devil did. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Jesus Christ all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete (perfect, lacking in nothing), and He is the head over all rule and authority; and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in My working in raising Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, I made you alive together with Him, having forgiven all your transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against you, which were hostile to you; and I have taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed (apekduomai: to strip completely off) the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:8-16.
Indeed, the I will comfort Zion; I will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness I will make like Eden, And her desert like My garden. Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody. Isaiah 51:3.
Please understand what I am telling you and take it by faith. It is yours. The measure you use is measured back to you. Make your measure no limits of what I can do in you, through you and for you. Jesus has undone the devil’s work in you. The death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus rendered null and voided all the devil had done in devasting human lives from the Garden until now. It is the roll back that I showed you in Joshua 6. All the way back to Adam. What Jesus did at Calvary is far greater, that is, MUCH MORE, than what the devil did with Adam in the Garden. NEVER belittle the work of redemption. Have no fear of the devil, My Son as rendered him powerless and brought him to nought. The only way he can bring you into captivity a second time is if you let him by giving in to sin, fear, evil and doubting My Word and My power.
You are not a repaired creature but a redeemed one, you are a new creation in Christ, the old things have PASSED AWAY, behold ALL things are new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. What Jesus did is more than enough to heal your broken body, twisted and deformed by sin, gluttony, drug addiction, alcoholism, and put you back in your right mind and in the completeness you were created when I knit you in your mother’s womb and called your name.
And that is the purpose for which the Son of God manifested among you as one of your own. He came as the second and last Adam and undid the works the devil had done that had oppressed, possessed, and broken My wonderful creation. The devil knew in the Garden how to take control over My creation—he could only do it by taking captive the man to whom I gave dominion over the earth and all the works of My hands, the one I made in My own image and gave My name—through the man I had made from Myself. And Adam gave in to him and brought you all under subjection to an enemy spirit of evil and darkness who comes to steal, kill and destroy—the murderer from the beginning and the father of lies. But Jesus, as bone of your bone and flesh of your flesh, conquered the devil and all he has done, He rendered him entirely useless and of none effect. And He has made you more than a conqueror in Him.
In the end, the last Day, the devil will be thrown forever in the lake of eternal fire, and there will be new heavens and a new earth, where there is no curse, and the devil will never be there or cause any evil again. Like sin never happened. No more sorrow, mourning, death, pain, sickness, poverty, lack or death. But you can begin to experience it now in your life. But you must take it by faith. You must turn loose of the past and receive healing. Let Me completely restore you. Quit making excuses for your conduct that is sinful blaming it on the way you grew up and the abusive people in your life. To get healed, you must stop bringing up your wounds, disappointments, failures, addictions, resentment, bitterness—Joseph never mentioned what his brothers had done to him to anyone, Pharaoh was pleased to meet his brothers. In the prison when they asked why Joseph was there, Joseph replied only that he was taken by force out of his home country and was unjustly in prison. No mention of his brothers or Potiphar’s wife. That was out of his life. Forgive and let things go if you want to be healed. Do not keep reopening your wounds but let Me heal you. You are healed already. My Son came to undo what the devil has done.
See yourself healed, whole and complete in Christ, because you are. Don’t keep living the lie that the devil has told you. Submit to My Word, know who you are and what Christ has done for you, resist the devil and his lies, and he must flee from you. He has already been defeated, but you have to enforce the victory and he will take territory back in your life. Renew your mind and SAY what I say about you. Do not talk failure and unbelief. You have the mind of Christ (anointed).
Don’t always be talking about what is wrong with you and your life, your disabilities and brokenness. Jesus already defeated the devil, enforce it by the words of your mouth. Don’t let the devil get a place back in you. If you keep using your disabilities and failures as an excuse for not succeeding in life, you will never lose them. Don’t identify with what the devil has done in your life, identify instead with Jesus, for you are in Christ and He has made you holy, blameless, and beyond reproach before Me. You are not the sick trying to get healed! You are the healed that sickness is trying to attack. Resist it and take the authority Jesus died to give you.
You are joint heirs with Jesus now and all I have is His. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom and all that it is in it. Jesus has borne the curse, sickness, poverty, rejection, and sin for you so that you might become BLESSED, healed, rich, beloved, favored, and sinless. The Holy Spirit has regenerated you in Christ. Titus 3:5.
Stop talking about the past and how bad it was, begin prophesying a beautiful future for I have given that to you in Christ—a life of good deeds prepared for you in advance in Christ Jesus. A life of prosperity and peace, not evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Repent when you call it wrong, when you are disobedient, and come back in the Light. I cleanse you of all unrighteousness in the Blood of My Son. Jesus took your place at the cross and went to hell for you so that you will never have to go there. Jesus took your place even when you caused the evil—overweight, alcohol, drugs have caused evil in your body, but you don’t have to keep it. Jesus reaped your punishment and set you free. He was judged in your place, so you are not judged. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have healed you and called you home. I will restore all the devil took from you and more. For when I restore it is of a far better quality than before. Like Jesus compared to Adam. You are under a new creation. You are in a place called grace and you only access it by faith and faith works by love.
I love you. Let Me make it like sin never happened in your life. And then walk with Me and let Me put My law and My Love in your heart by My Spirit living in you, and He is My gift to you that Jesus died so you could receive. For you must all be born again to enter the Kingdom. And the good news is you can enter it now. Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world. Let Me restore you better than before, like sin never happened.
