Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You have a building project that you are building everyday whether you are aware of it or not and it is the edifice of your life. If you want a strong structure that never goes down or sinks in any storm, trial, flood, enemy attack, or landslide there is only one building material you need. I think you know: My Word.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, is like to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27.
The foundation of your life, if you are wise, is hearing, speaking, and doing My Word. You frame the house of your life with My Word. And you establish, fill it with good things, and finish it with My Word.
By faith we understand that the universe was framed (made, prepared, completed) by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3.
The master builder for your life is My Word in your mouth, because it is living and working actively, and the power in My hand through My Spirit in you and on you.
“I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to plant Heaven and to lay the foundations of the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:16.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.
My Word is the most valuable building tool and material that you have. It made and sustains everything. I am My Word. Jesus is My Word and He is the cornerstone upon which I have laid the foundations of the earth and all its structure. Whatever is not of My Word is crooked and coming down, it cannot stand in any shaking.
And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:26-29.
Build on the rock of Christ. Put your foundation, be rooted and grounded in Him and draw up all you need each day to build the edifice of your life.
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.
Jesus is preparing a dwelling place for you, and He is doing it with and in you.
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3.
How do you build your life with My Word each day?
Begin building the minute you awaken in the morning greet Me with a smile and say (or sing), “This is the day the LORD has made for me, I will be glad and rejoice in it!” And pray to Me with joy that I have granted you another day upon the earth to do exciting works of excellence prepared in advance for you to walk in them. Pray that you not enter into temptation or fall to any tactic of the devil. Build all during the day like Nehemiah instructed the men to build the walls of Jerusalem:
Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon. As for the builders, each wore his sword girded at his side as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me. Nehemiah 4:17-18.
Keep the Sword of the Spirit, which is My Word used in all kinds of prayer and petitions and praying in the Spirit, and wisdom in the skill of construction like I gave Bezalel and Oholiab in every form of artistry, craft, and construction of sacred furnishings and structure for the tabernacle.
Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship.” Exodus 31:1-3.
“Now Bezalel and Oholiab, and every skillful person in whom the LORD has put skill and understanding to know how to perform all the work in the construction of the sanctuary, shall perform in accordance with all that the LORD has commanded.” Exodus 36:1.
With wisdom (all true wisdom comes from Me by My Word and My Spirit guiding you, teaching you, and leading you in that Word) you build your house, with understanding you establish it (how to put it together in all its parts so it works perfectly as jointly fit), and with knowledge you fill every room with precious treasures.
As My royal priesthood, Revelation 1:5-6; 1 Peter 2:4-5; 9-10, pray your priesthood prayer every morning as you lift up the sinless lamb as your morning offering. Yes, the perfect prayer that covers all your day that Jesus taught His disciples, the prayer you call the “Our Father.” And that is who I am, your Abba Father, whose Name is yours and full of magnificent Covenant promises that will keep you and direct your building project with the proper supplies and words.
And get yourself in the habit of praying (or singing) Psalm 91 to keep yourself in My secret place where no harm can come into your precious tent, the sanctuary of your body in which My Spirit dwells. Be sure you know where you are praying from and who you are praying with! Yes, I raised you up with Jesus and seated you at My right hand with Him where He continually intercedes for you and all people (and you should join in His intercessory prayers). In praying with Him for those who are dying or living in darkness you can embrace them in prayer with My love and rescue them from the pit by giving them the light of life.
His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, and there is the hiding of His power. Habakkuk 3:4.
Let us continue how you build your day with My Word.
Be like the tree with its roots in the living stream that experiences no lack of fruit and no challenge can take it off course from its fruitful life.
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3.
Live reverently before Me, do not be a scoffer or a mocker, that will never prosper you or anyone else for that matter. Your speech should give grace to your hearers. Desire earnestly the Spiritual grace endowments (gifts) that are yours in the Holy Spirit for the benefit of all. You need a Word of wisdom, Word of Knowledge, and discernment of spirits all day.
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware. . . Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:1; 4-11.
Watch and pray, guard your heart in where you put your eyes and where you walk with both your thoughts and your physical feet, for the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Keep it in check, which means keep it in My love by rejoicing always in who I am and that I am with you to favor you all the day, praying without ceasing as we partner and fellowship all the day and night to get things quickened in you and in the earth, and give constant thanks for your healing, deliverance, forgiveness, salvation, and blessing.
Cast out the unclean spirits and keep them out of your thought life and physical life.
Do not let the sun go down on your anger. Do not give any place in you to the devil. Get out all the bitter roots that clog your faith and receiving pipes.
Be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. Where words are many, sin is not wanting. A calm answer calms wrath. Do not escalate arguments, be the place they stop. I will give you the words and a wisdom that no one can take exception to or contradict. Stay close to Me and imitate Me as My dear children and walking in that sweet fragrance of love.
Each day opens paths, but we can narrow it down to two paths: the path of Glory and Salvation which leads to life, eternal abundant beautiful life, and the path of darkness and hard hearts that leads to death and destruction. It is easy to choose when you label them as they really are and not hide it under words of pride and choice when it is shame and being taken captive to do the devil’s will. Be careful to discern the spirits.
You are building every moment the edifice of your life. Look back over your life, what have you built?
According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 2 Corinthians 3:10-15.
Is your life a fruitful place of abiding in Me and I in you? If not it is time to change your building material.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 15:23-24.
I love you. Remember you are building your life at every moment of the day and night. Ask Me to prosper the work of your hands.
Let the favor of the Lord (Adonai) our God be upon us; and give permanence to the work of our hands. Yes, prosper, confirm and give permanence to the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17.
