Dearly beloved brethren,
The LORD is with us and He is mighty to save! The battle is the LORD’s, but the victory is ours! Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus our Lord. We know that God is for us, and that we are always praying from the victory side. So have no anxiety at all, but cast all your care upon the LORD because He cares for you! Just call to Him and He will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths and make them straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Lean on His Word and put it to work in your life. Declare all His promises and speak always the result you want and not the contrary circumstances and you will see the God of wonders without number work wonders in your life. He watches over His Word to perform it. Why would we use any other words when we have so great a salvation at our disposal? He sends His Word to heal us and deliver us from all our destructions. Psalm 107:20. He has given us His Words in our mouths and covered us with the shadow of His hand to establish good things in our lives.
I am so in awe each day at the wonders without number, Job 5:9, that our precious LORD works on our behalf, to the smallest detail. I realize more and more that the moment I ask a question, or put in a request for help, He answers so quickly that it quite takes my breath away! How awesome it is that the LORD, who measured the waters in the hollow of His Hand and with the span of His hand marked off the heavens, who calculated the weight of the mountains and hills by measuring a bit of dust so that the earth would be perfectly balanced, listens to our every thought and desire and gives us all and more than we need each day. Before a word is on our tongue, He knows the whole of it. He is our good Shepherd and there is nothing we shall lack, not just our needs but all our “wants” too. We just ask and receive. He has made it so simple and yet He has every thing in the universe measured out, balanced, and in perfect order as He sustains it all by His Word of power. Who is this awesome, all knowing, omnipresent God who plans everything and speaks the end from the beginning? And yet He shares His thoughts and ways with us by His Word and His Spirit! And what is His greatest desire? To dwell among us and be our God and for us to be His people, His own special treasure, reigning with Him forever. Exodus 19:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Revelation 1:5-6; Revelation 21:3; Revelation 22:5.
And best of all He is LOVE and He is LIGHT. And He pours His love and light into our hearts by the gift of His Holy Spirit. He is the LORD who heals us, loves us, provides for us and is ever present as our Helper. The ultimate gift of love is that He has not only made us in His image and likeness but He has become one with us in Christ. The Father was in Christ reconciling us to Himself, not counting our sins against us but imputing them all to Jesus. In Jesus, He has incorporated our humanity into His divinity and made us partakers of His divine nature. 2 Peter 1:3-4. He has truly given us the highest honor of all in uniting Himself with us so that when we join with Him, we become one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17. He has made us who believe the Body of Christ. And as His Body on earth we are joint heirs with Him and the Father has given Him everything. In Christ everything is ours, for in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge! And all God’s precious and magnificent promises are “yes” to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. We have such a rich treasure chest within us to draw all the wisdom, understanding, and resources we need each day by faith to live successful, healthy, prosperous, holy, and joy-filled lives from this marvelous and awesome gift of God– Christ in us our hope of Glory. And in Him, He has anointed us with the oil of joy!
Grace is God’s life in us, filling us with His power and nature. Ephesians 3:19-20. And what is His nature? The nature of a Ruler. The nature of Love. The nature of Light. The nature of righteousness, peace and joy. And this is the real you, so let us walk in love in our true nature and take dominion authority over the things of the earth, such as storms, disease, and poverty. These are the illegal activity of a fallen angel who has subjected man to his authority through deceit, fear and intimidation, but no more! We are taking back the years and territory he has stolen in our lives and those of our loved ones. And as you know from our last month’s meeting, when you discover the thief (and Jesus calls the devil the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy), he must pay back seven-fold, even to all the wealth in his house. Proverbs 6:31. So let us walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received. A call to partnership with Christ and to the Father’s eternal glory. Let us imitate our dear Father and walk with Him in love, as we reign in life through Christ Jesus by receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. Romans 5:17.
You have nothing to fear when you are abiding in God’s Word and it is abiding in you. Honor Him who has so honored you by obeying His Word and living it in your life. Total immersion in His Word is what the LORD taught Joshua for a successful life of victory, Joshua 1:7-8, and the LORD does not change, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So let us rid ourselves of every encumbrance of sin and run with the assignment God has given to us as ministers of reconciliation, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the originator and perfecter of our faith. Study His life and you will see how to walk in faith and love, and defeat the devil every time. For as He is, so are we in this world.
Our September meeting is the last Sunday in September on September 29, 2019 at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the St. Damien House at St Anthony Retreat Center, 3351 Kalihi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. Thank you to all who came to our last meeting. It was awesome! So filled with the sweet presence of our Father and the joy of the Lord was our strength. He anointed us all with the oil of joy as we enjoyed the day and His wonderful Word. Many new wonderful people have told me they are joining us this month.
We continue our projects that the LORD gives us for Marana tha Ministries is His corporation, started at His direction. I drafted the documents to file as a nonprofit corporation on Labor Day 2008, and received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS shortly thereafter, so we now are celebrating 11 years of ministry. And as we continue our street evangelism, hundreds of people have now prayed the prayer of salvation with joy since our training, and we continue our preparation for prison ministry, we continue our mentoring those in our apartment for the homeless that we rent. Thanks to generous donations and tithes we have paid the rent through the end of the year and continue to pay all the utilities and expenses. And on September 8, 2019 we are beginning to film our TV show, “Good News for You” again at the Ministudio in Mapunapuna Olelo. They are so happy to have us back to do our series again! So wonderful to be loved and welcomed. They reinstituted our show with such joy that it encouraged me greatly to be back from Texas and Israel. If you want to join us in doing the TV show, which has been airing since we began it in March of 2009, please let me know. And there are many other projects the LORD has us dreaming about with Him. And one is our annual January conference for 2020, please help us to promote this and get a salvation gathering of the Body of Christ as the CIA (Christ in action, doing the works He did and greater, John 14:12, with Him, in Him and through Him) as we come together to begin the year of Everlasting Love (that is the theme He gave me for 2020, the year of perfect vision in Him).
