Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Romans 12:9.
“If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.” Luke 11:36.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Never do anything you cannot bring into the light for all the world to see. Cling to what is good, abhor that which is evil. Romans 12:9. Don’t even discuss the things people do in the dark—obscene and evil things should be far from your mind and your mouth. Everything you think on or talk about makes a vision in your head and in that of your hearers. All you say and do should have but one goal: edify, that is, build each one up into the perfection of Christ. In Him you are made complete. Go about the work of completion. If you start it in others, the I can complete the good work that has begun in them. Offer the world the Word of life, it has the POWER to give them new birth and save their souls. You are like bright lights in the world, dispelling the darkness around you. It all starts in your heart, “the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his being,” Proverbs 20:27, but it does not stay there, Matthew 5:14-16, when you are full of light you will shine like a lamp is in you. Matthew 6:22; Luke 11:36. Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will become blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of life. Philippians 2:14-16.
To walk in THE BLESSING and stay in the Light you need to fight the good fight of faith. You have to be proactive in this world because of the evil that has taken root and the curse Adam brought into the earth. Jesus redeemed you from the curse, but you are still in the world so it is up to you to resist it and declare your righteousness. When you are established in righteousness you are FAR from oppression. Why? You know who you are and what you have and you know how to increase more and more through every set back the devil throws your way. But you must commit yourself to personal growth.
My servant Peter talked about this. He knew. Even though he had walked with My Son for three years, he slipped back into fear and doubt when My Son was crucified though My Son told Peter that would happen and given him many details about it. And He had assured His disciples He would not leave them orphans but would come back to them. He told them after three days He would rise. But they had been depending on Jesus’ faith to get results for three years and not their own. Once My Son was crucified it was time for them to begin exercising their faith in the ways they had seen Him do. And that caused them to grow into faith giants that nothing could conquer or stop. They turned the world upside down, or should I say, right side up? They grew into the stature of Christ. In fact, people watching them knew they had been with Jesus by the authority and confidence with which they spoke and the miraculous signs and wonders that took place at their hands. Acts 4:13-14.
Peter wrote the growth plan like this, for he had gone through it, all the way to “agape,” the true love that matches My unconditional love. After the resurrection on the shore of Galilee when My Son asked Peter if Peter had agape love for Him, all Peter could say was that his love was at the level of “filio,” the fondness of friends and siblings, but later Peter’s love for Me would turn into true unselfish love that cares more about the other’s good than his own. Agape.
He writes: “To those who have received a like precious faith (of the value as ours), by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral virtue, and in your moral virtue, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness (filio), and in your brotherly kindness, love (agape). For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.” 2 Peter 1:1-10. Please read this carefully to see the personal growth plan set before you, from faith to faith, from glory to glory, until you reach to the likeness of the full stature of Christ—Christ in you, your hope of glory! Growing up from your roots in Christ. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you useful and fruitful, vessels of honor, in My Kingdom as you advance ever deeper in the true knowledge of who you are in Christ and all I have freely given you in Him. Live your life through Him. He is My gift to you so that you can reign in life and eternity through Him.
Let Me give you a simple plan for personal growth, for without growing you cannot bear fruit that lasts. The more you grow and mature, the bigger the fruit produced on your branch as you attach more and more to Christ and let My divine life flow into you to produce fruit, much fruit, that will bless you and all the world.
First let Me tell you something very simple: your future success and fruitfulness in your life lies in your daily routine. “Teach us to order our days aright,” sang Moses, “that we may gain wisdom of heart.” If you don’t order your daily routine and take control of your time, you will wander through life.
So, follow the first fruits principle that I gave the Israelites and Jesus gave to you (seek first), take control of the first part of your day by not just laying in bed to the last minute and then rushing out of bed to your daily activities, but give yourself some time with Me to begin the day and order it aright. Get My input on what needs to be done and when. I know what you need and what you need to get your work done and I can make it flow and benefit you and others to the maximum.
Decide to fit into your day a time for prayer, a time you will spend with Me. You have to practice hearing My voice before you are sure when you have heard Me. Take some paper or a journal or a tablet and write down what you think I am telling you, even if you are not sure. Once you start writing you will find I tell you more. David found that in writing down the first things he heard from Me about the design for the temple, he got all the plans while writing that he then gave to his son, Solomon. Solomon had all the plans before he begun from the vision of his father David.
Next, during some time of the day read something that improves you and makes you grow. It can be a book on a topic of something in My Word or it can be a book that improves your job skills where I have placed you to do work. Read for wisdom, time management, and leadership principles. The Bible has all these, but for your particular area of expertise, such as if you are a teacher, a pilot, an attorney, an artist, a musician, or whatever, it is good to become better at your skill and talent by reading books that make you become a master in your trade and not just mediocre.
And faith comes by hearing, and hearing My Word. Listen to audio messages on My Word and passages from the Bible. That are good online stations now with teaching on the Word of faith, money management based on My instructions in the Bible, how to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and so much more! Listen to them in your commute to work or as you do chores. Keep the Word going in your home. Audio online Bibles, preaching, teaching, and worship music are all good ways to grow your faith to great faith, mountain moving faith.
Write down your goals and dreams. I told Habakkuk to write the vision down that he received in prayer and then he and others could read it and run with it. And do not just write it down and forget it. Keep it before your eyes and pray over it, asking Me to show you how to bring it to manifest. Be particular in details of what your want to come to pass. And then do something each day that heads you towards this goal, whether it is as simple as cleaning up your room and setting days for different tasks, writing a new resume, applying for jobs, composing a song, writing a play, or witnessing to people on the street and at the market. If your dream is to be speaking before thousands to bring them to Christ, start in line at the supermarket and with the person next to you are the cross walk.
Watch over your body and respect the wonderful earth “tent” I have given to your soul and spirit, I mean do some exercise each day, drink water, eat the foods that I direct in the Bible, avoid drunkenness, gluttony, and sloth, avoid any form of immorality with your body or that of another, and never put substances in your body that cause you to lose control over your mind and will, such as drugs. You would do well to avoid these things. Exercise is important.
If there are particular areas in which you need to establish some discipline so that you do not waste you day, ask Me to help you with those too. Excessive talking with friends who are not “faith” friends can lead to gossip and idle, ugly words. Avoid this. Be busy about Kingdom business but don’t be a “busy body,” spreading confidential information about others and seeking out gossip and scandal.
If you want to grow in Kingdom promotion it is time you looked at your day and let Me help you order it aright that you may walk in wisdom of heart.
I love you. Be mindful of Me in all your ways and I will direct your path. Learn to hear My voice by spending time with Me each day. Better yet, no matter where you are or what you are doing, get to the place of intimacy where we spend the whole day together walking in the ways of love and truth with miracles, signs and wonders following.
