Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God has come near (eggizó: to bring near, to join one thing to another); repent (metanoeó: to change one’s mind or purpose) and put your trust in the gospel.” Mark 1:15.
Soon afterwards, He began going around from one city and village to another, proclaiming and preaching the Kingdom of God. Luke 8:1.
And turning His gaze toward His disciples, He began to say, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God. Luke 8:1.
Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Jesus came proclaiming that My Kingdom—My righteous government and laws—was drawing near to join up again with people on earth. Mark 1:15. He was bringing it back to you by reconciling you to Myself by the blood of His Cross. He made peace, He fulfilled Shabbat, by the Blood of His Cross. Colossians 1:20. This was good news to the poor, because in the Kingdom is your provision, if they understood and transferred to My Kingdom system, they would be poor no more. Your answers to the earth cursed system are in the Kingdom system. All of you were poor after Adam handed his dominion over to the devil and turned you into survivalists, working the now uncooperative world by the sweat of your brow as it fought you all the way for putting it under the harsh master of Satan and the corruption that brought to everything. Adam cursed the earth, I did not. I made it good and I blessed you to rule over it by My laws. But Adam refused to operate by My laws and chose another kingdom under which to operate. He chose the domain of darkness, and the result was that fear, jealousy, and survival, which result from believing there is not enough for all, resulting in selfish behavior and thinking, mentality became the norm. In the Kingdom generosity is the key to financial freedom, that is, giving to receive, but the world system is to hoard riches for yourself to provide security and good living for yourself above others. That was the mistake of the man who grew rich for himself and not for Me.
Jesus operated in the Kingdom and He did things that superseded natural laws. He operated in Kingdom laws and He told you to do the same. Mark 11:22-24; Matthew 6:33. In His hands, bread and fish multiplied, at His command people rose up from death, the sick He touched were made whole, at His rebuke fevers departed and storms ceased, and He walked on water. And when His disciples did not respond to things in the same way, he asked them where their faith was, why they had such little faith, why they did not understand, why they were afraid, why they doubted, and once even called them an unbelieving and perverse generation! Matthew 17:17; Matthew 8:26; Mark 8:17; Matthew 14:31.
Jesus wanted to bring people back into the Kingdom system of dominion and rest and out of the world system of slavery and toil. The world system is based on your labor, shrewdness, and skills as a servant of things; the Kingdom system is based on your position of royalty in Me, My wisdom imparted to you, and your authority over things, that is, over the works of My hands. The world system is a product of the dominion of the realm of darkness and the law of sin and death, it is the earth cursed system. The Kingdom system is a product of My dominion of Love and Light and the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. In the world system there is condemnation, shame and guilt, in the Kingdom system there is redemption and freedom from shame and guilt. In the world system there is lack, in the Kingdom system there is no lack. The world system evaluates everything by the amount of wages and labor it would take to pay for it, the Kingdom system evaluates everything by My grace and is received according to your faith. In the world system your identity is what you do, in My Kingdom system your identity is who you are. What you do changes, who you are does not. And you are in My image and likeness. You are kings and priests. People want to know you by asking what is the work or job that you do, but when you meet a Princess or King, they only announce who they are. “I am Prince Charles,” and that says it all. No one then asks what his job is. He is not identified with his job but with his position of royalty. Do you see?
Jesus taught you to pray that My Kingdom would come and My will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. He wants to renew your mind to thinking like a citizen of Heaven and like a member of My household, both of which you legally are the moment you are saved and made righteous by believing in your heart that I raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth His Lordship. That is, His government and jurisdiction over you. And it is all for your benefit. Forget not ALL your benefits, all you Kingdom rights, privileges, and promotions.
So how did Jesus proclaim the Kingdom so that people could begin to get new visions of reality and change their minds to see the Kingdom? He told Kingdom parables. You would be wise to look at these as a guide to the Kingdom. He would begin, “The Kingdom of God is like . . .” And you will find it compared to a mustard seed, leaven, a hidden treasure of precious value, the finest pearl of great price, a lost coin, a seed planted by a farmer, a landowner hiring laborers for his vineyard, a man giving a wedding feast for his son, and a master settling accounts with his servants.
Jesus came to bring access to another jurisdiction to all born again believers, for unless you are born again you cannot understand or enter the Kingdom, for the “god” of this world, that is, the devil, has blinded the minds of unbelievers to the glory of the gospel of the Kingdom. And he has also been able to keep far too many believers from entering into the Kingdom system on earth. Be careful what you hear and put in your heart.
Jesus lived, taught, and proclaimed the Kingdom for three years as a man on earth, and yet at the Passover meal the night before He died for you to take all your sins away so you could again enter the Kingdom and operate therein doing the works He did and greater, He said there was so much more He had to tell you but that you could not bear it yet, so He comforted the disciples, and all of you through them, that I was giving you the Holy Spirit to be with you and in you to teach you the things that were beyond the capacity of those who had not yet been born again. My Spirit teaches you all things and guides you to all truth. You are no longer slaves subject to fear, but My sons and daughters in Christ, joint heirs with Him, and I share My thoughts, love, life and wisdom with you by the gift of My Holy Spirit which has been poured into your heart. You are now joined up and have access by the One Spirit into Kingdom living. You are fellow citizens of Heaven and members of My household. You are a new creation in Christ! And all of nature is longing for you to take dominion and free it from the curse Adam released into the earth. And that is why you see Jesus talking to trees and storms and telling you to do the same. Rule over the works of My hands in a dominion of love and compassion, releasing all from the works of the devil to the freedom of the children of God! Ministers of reconciliation.
Did you know the parable of the prodigal son is a Kingdom parable? Let Me show you. There are many layers to the parables Jesus taught. You can stop at the top or go deeper and deeper into the mysteries held therein that are hidden there for you, not from you. Think of the prodigal son as Adam and the father’s house as the Kingdom. And of course think of the Father as Me. The prodigal son lusts after the things of the world and decides the father is withholding him from enjoying them, so he takes his inheritance and turns it over to the lusts of the world. And the result is lack and survival. A famine ensues and he goes into debt and must work a job beneath his dignity. He loses his identity in feeding swine. He was toiling to survive, and yet he was barely meeting his needs. His wages were like he put them in a bag with holes and there was more month than money. And no one could help him because everyone was just trying to survive in the famine and hoard things for themselves. No one would give him anything.
You know it is the same today, I told the Israelites to be generous and live My Word. I told them that there should be no poor among them if they all were living by My laws. And I made sure that would be so by giving them Shabbat as a sign of the good things to come in Jesus. The seventh day of the week was Shabbat and, on that day, there was to be no toil, that is, no survival mentality, and I did it by giving them a double portion the day before. In the desert I rained down manna on the dew, which they did not toil for, they only needed to gather and prepare it, and I doubled it the day before Shabbat. And yet some went out with the world system mentality trying to gather it on Shabbat, they were still trying to grab and hoard things, but the Manna would not be hoarded and stay fresh.
And then I gave them another shadow of Jesus, I commanded them to keep every seventh year as a Shabbat year of rest and abundance with no toil as My Covenant people. I did that for them by making their crops respond by doubling their yield on top of the regular harvest (a bumper crop) in the sixth year and they would have plenty even left over into the eighth year when they planted again to keep them well supplied till harvest. And then I went even further, every forty-nine years, right after the seventh Shabbat year, they were to blow the trumpet and have the Jubilee year! And so the forty-eighth year yielded a harvest that would add triple to the harvest that year so that they had plenty until they sowed again in the fifty-first year and the harvest came. And in the Jubilee year all Hebrew slaves were released, all debts forgiven, and all ancestral lands restored. I was showing them in Shabbat how the Kingdom system operates.
But the Israelites had not renewed their minds to Covenant living and were still operating with world system rules so they feared they would not have enough and thus did not keep the Shabbat years and would not forgive debts, release slaves or restore lands, this brought them world system results instead of Kingdom system results, and finally they lost all to the enemy.
But let us look back at the prodigal son. He is still in famine land (the world system) trying to get a handout. But no one would give him anything. But the prodigal son knew that there was plenty of provision in his father’s house, so he decided to return to the father. But he decided to go back as a slave and not a son, to work for what he got.
He tried to bring the world system back to the father’s house. But it would not work there. The father embraced him and clothed him in the robe of righteousness, his own robe, and gave him the ring of authority. And killed the fatted calf to celebrate. The sin sacrifice for the cleansing of priests who had sinned unintentionally. He reinstated him as a son to all the benefits of the household.
But the elder son did not understand the Kingdom either. He accused the father of being unfair. He had a slave mentality and the prodigal son had not worked for what he received. He was jealous thinking there was not enough for both him and his brother. And he wanted it for himself. But this is not the case in the Kingdom. My resources are unlimited and I have delighted to give every one of you the Kingdom, not just a piece of it, but the whole pie, so to speak. That is shalom. Instead of getting jealous when someone gets something good, especially if you are thinking you should have had it or more, like the early laborers in the vineyard looking angrily at the late comers who received the same, you should be rejoicing for you know that I can give you as much or more as you see another have if you will receive it by faith in My goodness. I do not measure the gifts I give to you; it is you that measure the measure with which I can give to you. Remember? The measure with which you measure will be measured back to you and more besides. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for I love a cheerful giver. And I am able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” I who supply seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to Me. The generosity of your contribution for others, will lead others to pray for you, because of My surpassing grace upon you. 2 Corinthians 9:6-14.
Do you see that the parable of the prodigal son is a Kingdom parable? Adam left the Father’s house, lusting for a life freed of restraint and independent of My law, and went to another house, that of the devil, and the earth was cursed because he unleashed an evil master over all the world that had been Adam’s to rule. And the result was the loss of identity for Adam and all his descendants in a land of famine, working as slaves, when you should have been reigning with Me as kings and priests. Your life became one of toil and survival by the sweat of your brow. And the earth fought you with thorns and thistles, and the heavens would close up their rainfall.
But Jesus came and changed all that for those who would follow Him back to My house. In the prodigal son story you see the father running to the prodigal son, but in My story, I came down to embrace your flesh and stretched out My arms to you in Jesus, (have you not read Isaiah 53:1? “To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”) It was by My own arm I saved you. Isaiah 63:5 I redeemed you by My outstretched arm and brought you out from the burden of the evil one and took you as My people, My sons and daughters, to eat and drink at My table in My Kingdom. Exodus 6:6-7. He became your sacrifice; He took all the punishment due the prodigal son as if He had been the one that left My house and not you. He made your sin as if it had never been.
And in Jesus, I have cleansed you in His Blood of all unrighteousness and transferred you out of kingdom of darkness to new jurisdiction, the Kingdom of My Beloved Son—a completely different culture and set of laws than that of the world.
And I will speak more about that to you tomorrow. Think about what I have told you today. Check what system you are operating under. If you are going around telling people how unfair your boss is and how mad you are about a promotion someone else got at work, think again. If you judge others as unworthy of promotion or receiving good things that judgment comes back on you, for as you judge so are you judged (that is a law, like the law of sin and death) and you cannot receive promotion then since you condemn it in others. And the same works in every area. The measure with which you measure will be measured back to you and more besides. Use that law to your advantage rather than your detriment. Rejoice in good things no matter who received them first. You are next and more besides. The elder son was jealous of his brother, but he should not have been, the elder son was with Me always and EVERYTHING I had was his. Which, simply speaking, is far beyond all you can ask or imagine. What I have prepared for you is much bigger and better than all you can dream of or ask for, so stop whining and start dreaming with Me in faith.
I love you. Operate in the Kingdom Way. I have shown it to you, the Way, the Truth and the Life. And He is generous in every aspect of life. And He gave you His peace (shalom), not as the world system gives, but as the Kingdom system gives. Rest on every side. You are made to be fruitful and increase with no sorrowful toil. Learn from My Son.
