“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I AM the High and Holy One who knows all and takes care of all. Listen to what I say.
Throughout the world My judgments prevail and I do not leave you helpless. I will not leave you orphans but have sent you the Paraclete to be with you and in you to guide you to all truth and lead you in the way you should go. I will always advocate for you and make all work together for good for those who love Me. I am not harsh or hard. I am not without compassion for all and great mercy. That is why I sent My Son as One meek and humble in heart and that is who I AM and will always be and He is My innermost expression among you and with you. When people sought Him from Nicodemus, an academic whose life was ordered by tradition, to the woman by the well who was not an academic and did not live an orderly life but was on the same quest to know the truth and live in it that Nicodemus was. They came from two different backgrounds and mindsets but they were both seeking Me in the Messiah and they found what they were seeking for. Seek and you shall find.
So the question for you and every person, yes, everyone from the wisest person to the one considered void of intelligence, from the person of self-control and personal integrity to the most uncontrolled drug addict or glutton who is lying about with a destroyed body, mind, soul, and spirit under the dominion of Satan and his unclean minions, the question for every life and every heart I look into is the same, “What are you seeking?” and I mean in the very depths of your being. If the longing is not there for love and for the eternal Kingdom, for a life free from malice and evil, for the truth that will set you free, but instead is only self-promotion, hatred, blame and greed I cannot work with that person to raise them up out of the dunghill and the swamp of evil in which they are trapped because for them it is their pleasure.
You must examine yourself, yes, yourself, not just the other people around you to define who you are and what you are seeking, for this is what has led you in the place and grace you are now and what will lead you forward on your path of life.
It is not just getting away from evil people, but this is something you should do in the sense of allowing them to influence you and distract you from your purpose by overtaking the focus of your thoughts off Me onto them, but as Paul stated so wisely from Me, you cannot avoid evil people if you are living in this world, but you do not have to live in close fellowship with them or receive them into your heart and home. Even living under the same roof you must not be one with them for light and darkness must never compromise to join in one household, enabling the evil and hiding the truth out for the sake of surface peace.
Never be afraid to speak the truth in love but not in selfish promotion masking what you want as My Will and as righteousness. I know what is best concerning you and those around you, and indeed all mankind, in the way of fruitfulness and walking in My Will for your lives.
Now here is what you must do and everything will be added to you besides: But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
YOUR LIFE IN TIME IS A QUEST, YOUR LIFE IN ETERNITY IS BEING IN THE PLACE THAT YOU SOUGHT WITH HIGHEST PRIORITY IN THE TIME YOU HAVE ON EARTH.
You cannot serve two masters. You will love and one and hate the other. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.” You cannot serve Me and worldly idols of lust that enthrone the flesh above the spirit and look for worldly increase to the detriment of your heavenly account and expect to spend eternity with Me, the one your life had no interest in and your conduct despised while on earth in the life which I gave you as your opportunity to be fruitful in love and the good works I prepared for and entrusted to you. If you instead wasted that life by filling your mind with things that I tell you not to think on or harbor in your heart you will not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, which is one of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, for it is not what you have sought or who you are. You cannot enter a flow after you die to this life that you never entered into while you had the time to do so.
Redeem the time. Use it well. Awake sleeper and Christ will give you light for the Day is approaching when your window of time will close and you will be in the place that you have been seeking first throughout your life. But the good news I give you in My Son is it is never to late to change your focus while you are still alive in time.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
What you seek is what you worship.
The verb embraces every sphere of “seeking”: the mind’s search for truth, the heart’s pursuit of relationship, the will’s determination to obtain, and the body’s movement to find. Across the New Testament it is applied to God, to Christ, to believers, to the lost, and to Christ’s enemies, revealing motives that range from holy longing to murderous intent
I am not seeking worship I am seeking THOSE who worship in Spirit and truth. I am seeking those who are seeking Me. What you worship is your master. What you worship is what you are seeking first. What you are seeking is what you are serving – whether it be food, drink, or any other thing of the flesh or whether it be of the Spirit. Those who sow to the flesh reap to the flesh those who sow to the spirit reap to the Spirit. And that is eternal harvest. My eyes go to and fro across the earth seeking, looking for, longing for, those whose hearts are towards Me first in their lives to show Myself strong to save on their behalf.
When My Son gave you His peace He told you not to let your mind be troubled or afraid. Build a edge of protection around your mind—a wall of Salvation with gates that are praise. Isaiah 60:17.
I will make peace your administrator and righteousness your overseer. You will call your walls salvation and your gates praise. Isaiah 60:17.
What others think, say, and do is not your business, your business is to follow Me. When Jesus stayed behind to take care of things pertaining to revealing the truth of My Word to the religious leaders of His day, Mary and Joseph were upset with Him for the anxiety His absence from the departing pilgrims had brought to them. His anser was short and to the point, “Did you not know I had to be about My Father’s business?” And that defined His life. And that should be what people know about you. You are not there for frivolous, fruitless, and idle pursuits, but to be about My business—about fulfilling your assignment, your ministry. 2 Timothy 4:1-8.
Start with fixing yourself and then you will be able to reach out to others. Put yourself in Me and then I can set you free of all that would harm or hinder you. I am your reward so seek Me. Nothing else you seek will take you to the most excellent place—to the right place for you.
And there is another aspect to this as well. Way too many people today, even believers, have troubled minds. And these troubled minds, if not dealt with, will gnaw away at you so that you eventually end up with mental illness, depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s or other self-destruction. A troubled, bitter, or toxic mind is not a right mind. When the prodigal son got out of his wrong mind to his right mind he immediately got up to return to his father’s house. When My Son cast the legion of demons out of the Gadarene demoniac he came to his right and sat calm and fully clothed. And what was his response now that he had back his right mind? He wanted to follow Jesus and preach the good news of all I had done for him in Christ.
How do you keep a right mind and not get any kind of mental illness or impairment? By seeking My Kingdom first (no worry, no fear, no bitterness, no anger, no revenge) and all things you need for your life will be added to you worry-free. Keep your mind on things above, not in the dirt below where the devil crawls and eats.
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4.
I have given you the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:16. Use it. In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and I have given Him to you, so that rooted and grounded in Him you may live your life through Him. I have redeemed you and rescued you from the power of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son. Keep your mind there where I have seated you in Him at My right hand. If you keep your mind there you will never have dementia, Alzheimer’s, depression, or mental illness of any kind. Those spirits are not from Me. I gave you a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind, which is a right mind. Stop tormenting your mind with things that are not your business. Hand all that over to Me and let Me take care of you. With all diligence guard your heart.
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. 2 Corinthians 2:3-6.
I love you. Seek the Kingdom first and everything in your life, including your mind, will be blessed and protected.
