But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey or incline their ear but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart and went backward and not forward. Jeremiah 7:23-24.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Do you want to do My Will? Many say they do and keep asking Me to show it to them while they stay idle in the marketplace. I tell you what I told Moses and the Israelites when they were standing idle by the Red Sea crying out in fear: “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.” Genesis 14:15.
Sometimes you just need to get moving forward, if you keep your car in park it does not matter how hard you accelerate, or how much power is inside your engine, you won’t go anywhere. Moses told the Israelites in the desert, “The LORD our God said to us at Horeb: ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. Resume your journey and go to the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the foothills, in the Negev, and along the seacoast to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great River Euphrates. See, I have placed the land before you. Enter and possess the land that the LORD swore He would give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to their descendants after them.” Deuteronomy 1:6-8.
It is time to go forward, you have stayed before the mountain of your anxieties and fears and confusion long enough. It is time to speak to that mountain and cast it into the sea and go forward to take possession of the possessions I have already given you in My divine plan. You are a masterpiece created in Christ Jesus for a life of good deeds that I prepared for you in advance that you might enjoy it. But you must do like My apostle Paul and press forward. Do not stay in park and say you are waiting on Me to show you My Will. I already told you My Will for you in Christ Jesus, start with that. Do you even know what it is? Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 and check if you are doing that. If you do, the rest will follow.
I will take care of you. You know what that should mean to you? That everything is taken care of. All you need for your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual life is there for you already. Know that and enter into My rest. But you must understand something, I cannot take care of you in the way I want to if you will not come under My wings. Jesus cried over the people of Jerusalem who refused to come to Him to receive abundant life—who missed My visitation—because though I longed to gather them under My wings as a mother hen does to protect and bless her chicks, I could not for they refused Me.
Through My prophet Jeremiah I told you: “But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey or incline their ear but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart and went backward and not forward.” Jeremiah 7:23-24. All would be well if they came under My jurisdiction as My people who had authorized Me to care for them. This is true in the marriage covenant, a man may want to care for and cherish a woman for the rest of her life but if she rejects his proposal of marriage and does not join in the marriage covenant with him, he has no authority to take care of her and keep her safe as his own. Likewise, you have no legal duty to care for people you are not joined with in Covenant or family ties. You can limit My ability to care for you by binding My authority out of your life. You do this by your words and actions. You choose whether you are under My jurisdiction or under that of the devil. Adam chose that of the devil and he did not repent of it. He no longer sought Me. He hid from Me and blamed Me for his treason. I tempt no one or incite them to evil. James 1:12-18. I am love.
But when you seek Me, you will find Me with you. When you turn your heart to Me, then I can show Myself strong on your behalf. When you call to Me, I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. When you draw close to Me, I draw close to you. When you keep My Words, I reveal Jesus to you and we come and make our abode with you. I told Jeremiah to give this message to my people in exile: “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’ Jeremiah 29:11-14.
Many people never go forward, because like the Israelites in the desert, they do not trust Me to fulfill My promises and to take care of them. But if you just step out in faith, then My Holy Spirit can lead you. And if you trust Me, like Abraham, you will go forward and at times you will not even know where you are going. You just know you are going to have the victory in the end, like David did. He spoke victory before he saw it and I was with him wherever he went. And he never was injured and no man could keep him down or ultimately prevail over him. And your life can be like that too. Like Joseph, like Daniel, like John, like Deborah, like Elizabeth, like Mary, like Ruth, like the Shunamite woman. But stay with Me from the beginning to the end and do not turn aside as some do. Solomon had a wondrous and awesome beginning but his heart did not remain with Me as his father David’s did. He turned aside to idols. It destroyed the unity of Israel and ended that nation towards captivity by the enemy. Israel never really recovered its glory as it had under David. Blessed is the nation who is under My jurisdiction alone, who is of one heart and one mind in their allegiance to Me. A kingdom divided cannot stand. Pray for you country to unite under Me and you will see wonderful things. Cover your leaders in the Blood of My Son and pray for the peace that has unity as its guiding force. Raise the banner and stop the flood of evil that is threatening your leader by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. Listen to My Spirit and pray in the spirit for your president, your leaders, and your nation. Pray for My Wisdom to enter the hearts of all.
You are My kings and priests on earth, I am counting on you to pray and authorize Me to act in your nation. I am counting on you to lift My banner and resist the devil. I am counting on your to speak out and to be strong. Do not retreat. You are children of Light. Shine.
Be clever as snakes, outwit the schemes of the devil, but innocent as doves, let no evil or perverse thing enter your heart. Cleanse your heart by the water of washing with My Word and wash your robes in the Blood of the Lamb. Be alert and on guard at all times, for your adversary, the devil, is like a roaring lion, roaming about seeking someone that he may devour. But if you keep up the shield of faith (meditate, speak and listen to My Word), keep your head covered with the helmet of Salvation (take every thought captive that is not in line with My Word and refuse to dwell on it, replace it with the promise in My Word that counters it) and your heart established in righteousness (the breastplate of righteousness, which is pure gold because it is My righteousness clothing you who are in Christ Jesus as your own), and take up the Sword of the Spirit (My Word in your mouth declared as your own), then he will never devour you. You will walk through the midst of evil, like David, and never be taken down. As Jesus told you, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.” Luke 10:18-19.
Never be conquered by evil, conquer evil with good. And I alone am the source of all that is good. So conquer evil with Me and draw upon the store of goodness I have for those who love Me, those who hope in Me. I fill your days with good things if you will let Me. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
Go forward today by witnessing to others—share the good news of the Kingdom! And by walking in love. Remember My Will for you in Christ Jesus, and be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only: Rejoice always in Me and My promises which are yours in Christ, pray without ceasing (pray for yourself and others, intercede, dream with Me and write the vision down so you can run forward with it), and give thanks constantly (it helps you notice the good things I am trying to pour in your life each day and receive them—don’t be like the barren bush in the desert that never sees good when it comes and lets it go right by without taking it- do not miss My visitations and if you are thankful you will not, they will multiply and never cease to flow).
I love you. Become as little children—they look forward not back and they face each new day looking for good times. Why are you standing there idle all day? Lift up your eyes and look about, the fields are ripe for harvest, you are wise to save souls through praying and interceding and also reaching out and sharing the good news of the Kingdom. Be like Daniel, a man of integrity never escapes notice. I will bring your gift before great men.
