Then it came about when the ark set out that Moses said, “Rise up, O LORD! And let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee before You.” When it came to rest, he said, “Return, O LORD, to the myriad thousands of Israel.” Numbers 10:35-36.
May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand-fold more than you are and bless you, just as He has promised you! Deuteronomy 1:11.
One of your men puts to flight a thousand, for the LORD your God is He who fights for you, just as He promised you. Joshua 23:10.
Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields. . . How blessed are the people who are so situated; how blessed are the people whose God is the Lord! Psalm 144:13,15.
So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. Acts 2:41. . . But many of those who had heard the message believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand. Acts 4:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Many people talk about a hundred-fold harvest, but you do not hear too many people talking about the thousand-fold increase. But I do and I taught Moses to do the same. The first words I said to man when I created man was My BLESSING empowering him to be fruitful and increase. And there was no limit. If you attach to the vine of Jesus, you will bear MUCH fruit. You set the measure. For the measure with which you measure will be measured back to you. I have unlimited supply and pleases Me when you ask Me for good things. I tell you simply “ask and you shall receive.” Make your dreams and visions that you share with Me BIG. How big? Can you count the stars? That was how I explained the greatness of My plans to Abraham. And there are so many stars that your computers cannot number them all, they just keep on going and going, more and more. Does that sound familiar? It should if you meditate on My Word day and night so that you make your way prosperous and have good success: “May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children. May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 114:14-15.
Do you remember the five loaves and two fish that Jesus held up to Me in thanksgiving and blessed them? They increased more than a thousand-fold, for they fed over 5,000 men, not counting all the women and children they fed also. Later when the disciples were considering at one point that they had brought no bread with them, Jesus simply asked His disciples, “Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up?” Matthew 16:10. And again, “Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?” Matthew 18:24.
Do you still not understand? I am the God of increase, not lack. And yet many people say that riches are evil and that poverty is holy and pleases Me. When did I ever say that? I told you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Heaven is not poor, the streets are spun gold and the foundation stones are precious jewels, huge ones, and the gates are massive pearls. It is glorious. And when My people let Me design things on earth, they were what many would call extravagant. Just read about the tabernacle I had My people build in the desert. And I supplied them with all the precious gold, silver, bronze, precious gems, and fine linen that was needed for construction and I gave it to them completely free as they left Egypt. And I planned that extravagant wealth transfer when I foretold it to Abraham over 400 hundred years before it happened. And when I introduced Myself to Moses, I told Moses that I would not let My people leave Egypt empty handed but with riches.
My BLESSING, it makes rich and I add no sorrowful toil with it. Proverbs 10:22. Solomon wrote that under inspiration of My Spirit and he found it to be true. His riches and wisdom took away the breath of the queen of Sheba when she came to see it. It was even greater than she imagined.
I gave you a list of what My BLESSING does for you in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, and I told you that if you listened to and obeyed My Words that these blessings would come upon you and overwhelm you! Deuteronomy 28:2. Let Me overwhelm you today. If you can count the stars you will just begin to know the increase I wish to give you.
Why do you think lack and think you cannot do great things for the Kingdom? Why do you think you cannot help anyone with their rent, buy them a car, or be extravagantly generous? Did you never read about the righteous man, “he shares freely and gives generously to those in need. His good deeds will be remembered forever. He will have influence and honor.” Psalm 112:9. Give and it shall be given to you, for the measure with which you measure is measured back to you. If you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully. Sow sparingly, you reap sparingly. How much seed have you got in the ground? Speak over it and remember to harvest it when it is time, otherwise you will never collect it. I gave the Israelites manna, but they had to go out and gather it.
Why do people not give more? It is because they are afraid to lose the little they have. What if the widow that I sent Elijah to had not stepped out in faith and given him the last meal she had? Then it never would have multiplied the thousand fold return that it gave.
But don’t just sow. Sow to grow. Sow to reap a harvest. And aim for the thousand-fold. I have promised it to you. Ask BIG and you shall have big. Think and dream BIG. Remember when Elisha told the king of Israel to strike the arrows on the ground? The king picked them up and struck the ground three times. This made Elisha angry with him. “You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed. “Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.” 2 Kings 13:18-19. Many people stop too soon and are short of the BLESSING I would pour out on them.
I taught Moses a prayer to say when they would set out across the desert. When the ark set out Moses said, “Rise up, O LORD! And he told the Israelites in the desert, “May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand-fold more than you are and bless you, just as He has promised you!” Deuteronomy 1:11.
Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly—until it overflows. But to live that new life of abundance you have to totally renew your mind for you have been raised in the world and listened to the words and ways of the world which teach lack and survival. But I do not think that way. My thoughts and ways are higher than yours, but I share them with you and invite you to come up higher. In fact, in Christ I have already seated you in the highest place, for He sits with Me on My throne and you are seated there with and in Him. Revelation 3:21.
Most people like to say I am in control and everything that happens is My Will. And even if I did not cause it, they will say, I allowed it so it was My Will. But that is NOT true. I am not willing that any should perish (be destroyed). It is My Will that all people be saved and come to know the truth. It is not My will that anyone live under the curse. I sent My Son to die to redeem you from it. He came to give you the Kingdom.
I told you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. My Son would not have told you to pray that if My Will was being done on earth. My Will is being done perfectly in Heaven. In Heaven, there is no crime, no pain, no poverty, no disunity, no evil, no disease, no mourning, no mental illness—do you know why? I am in complete control there and everyone there is in agreement with My Will, they are ruling and reigning with Me in love. And it is wonderful. That is My Will. But on earth now you need to pray that My Will be done in the midst of so much darkness and chaos, which does not please Me. Do you remember? When I look at darkness and confusion, I clean it up with “Light BE!” Learn from Me and do the same. Put My Word to work. Put your faith to work. For you have the same spirit of faith that I do. Believe in your heart and speak with your mouth.
So when something destructive happens, the question is not why did I allow it, but, “Why was the LORD not able to prevent it?” Because My Will is to bless and increase. Do you remember what David sang? “Though a thousand fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me.” Psalm 91:7. Why? He answers: “Because I have made the LORD my dwelling place, the Most High my refuge, no evil shall be allowed to befall me, no plague come near my tent.” Psalm 91:9. He had repented (changed his mind) and believed in My perfect protection and he declared it, calling Me his refuge and fortress, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust!” Psalm 91:2.
But, you cannot separate My divine protection from faith and being led by My Holy Spirit. You live in a perilous world, as Jesus told Pilate, “My Kingdom is not here.” The curse is still in the world but you can walk in the BLESSING even now if you will repent (change your mind) and realize bad things are from the devil and not from Me and ask for the good things. If you take refuge in Me and follow My direction I can keep you. There is no snatching out of My hand. But you have to check in with Me and find out what I am telling you. If you do not have peace about going somewhere or doing something, sit down with Me and find out why. Never override My Spirit’s warnings inside. Many people get in trouble that way that they could have avoided and then blame Me.
I promised you that My Spirit would tell you of the things to come. If people perish, it is contrary to My Will. It is not because you are bad or because you are good, My sun shines on both and My rain waters your land with no discrimination. Bad things are not from Me but are from the devil. Many people cut themselves off from Me and never check in with Me about their plans for the day and so they are vulnerable because the “god” of this world is roaming about looking for someone to devour. Make sure you are walking with Me and it will not be you. David knew and was never hurt in any battle or by the bear or the lion. Why? I was his light and salvation. He consulted Me wherever he went and listened to what I told him. He said he set Me ever at his right hand. Even in the night his heart counseled him.
Expect great things. Hezekiah brought Me the letter that Sennacherib wrote threatening him to take the city if he did not surrender and spread it out before Me. He then prayed and I answered. I sent My angel from My army of Hosts and during the night he struck down 185,000 of the enemy. That was a thousand fold return. And when Elisha was surrounded by the enemy army, I sent My host of myriads of angles with fiery chariots on the hillsides all about his home. 2 Kings 6:17. And how about the time I gave the trapped Israelites who were starving a 24 hour miracle where they went from nothing to a thousand-fold supply of food and riches?
Not to speak of how I gave over two million Israelites who entered the Promised Land houses filled with good things that they did not fill at no cost.
What makes you think I will not do the same for you?
Start looking for the thousand-fold increase. When you seek, I promise you that you shall find. Begin to speak it and to bless with it. Bless yourself, your family and your children with it. Remember what her kinsfolk prayed over Rebekah when she left them to marry Isaac? They blessed Rebekah and said to her, “May you, our sister, become thousands of ten thousands, and may your descendants possess the gate of their enemies.” Genesis 24:60. And that is exactly what happened. Her son Jacob had 12 sons that became the twelve tribes of Israel and I increased them from just 70 people when they came to Egypt to live there at Joseph’s invitation, to over a million when they departed and walked out through the Red Sea laden with silver and gold and not a feeble one among them.
I love you. Look for unlimited blessing and speak it over your life and the lives of others. Always bless, never curse. Speak increase and never speak decrease. And this is My Will for you, for I desire above all things that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. Live the life of abundance and BLESSING that My Son died to give you. Just ask and you shall receive.
