For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very form of things, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins. Hebrews 10:1
Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day— things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Colossians 2:16-17.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Don’t live your life in the shadows. You have the One from whom the shadow was cast. No man would be content with a woman’s shadow when he could marry the one who cast the shadow.
Living life in the shadows though is where many people are. They are still trying to earn the forgiveness of their sins. They are still thinking that to get My attention they have to fast, weep, and repeat long scenarios to Me about why I should help them in their dire situation. They treat Me like someone with no intelligence or common sense, and certainly no sense of humor or joy. Often, they do not realize it, but they are treating Me like an enemy that they somehow have to cajole into showing them favor. They act like I am withholding good things from them and they are trying somehow to wrestle them out of Me. Kind of like Jacob when he wrestled with Me all night until he finally admitted who he truly was, “Jacob,” not Esau the first born, but Jacob, which means supplanter or cheater, but then I changed his name. I gave him a new name and a whole new life of reconciliation and peace with his brother, Esau, of maturity in his responsibility to his family, and a whole new authority that he began to walk in and enjoy. He became Israel, and he, in his twelve sons, birthed a nation that would be forever, My own special possession, a people set apart, a promised land, and the carriers of the BLESSING of Abraham. They would be the people from whom the Messiah took His humanity.
You do not have to beg Me to heal you, bless you, prosper you, deliver you, protect you, defend you, provide for you, and forgive you. I have already done all these things for you in Christ and delivered them all to you in Him as My gift to you. You just need to take them with confidence by faith with thanksgiving and joy. My gifts and call are irrevocable. Healing is yours. THE BLESSING is yours. Prosperity is yours (I teach you to profit and the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17, I give you the power to make wealth, Deuteronomy 8:18). I have delivered you and rescued you and redeemed you from the realm of darkness, the curse, and the slavery of sin and death. When you seek My Kingdom, I add all you need to your life. I have forgiven you in Christ, having imputed all your sins to Him, and imputed His righteousness to you. Your sins and offenses I therefore remember no more. And there is no snatching out of My hand so you have protection and direction. And you have the Holy Spirit to lead you and to guide you to all truth. And He shares with you what I have freely given you in Christ so that you will know to take it as your own.
Jesus is the Light of the world. In seeing Him you see Me and what do you see? Healing, provision, blessing, compassion, and forgiveness. He leads you out of the shadows of guilt, fear, condemnation, and slavery, that is, the slavery of sin and death—the valley of the shadow of death, as your good Shepherd who laid down His life for you. Adam put everyone of his descendants in the valley of the shadow of death, but in Jesus I have qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light and rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son, in Whom you have redemption and the forgiveness of sins.
Why would you want to wander in the shadows when it has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom of Light? It is time to step out of the shadows, for I have called you out of darkness into My own marvelous light. You were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord Jesus and joint heirs with Him. When you received Him as My gift to you, He gave you the authority to be My child, and I am LIGHT. So, walk as children of Light. For deep darkness covers the earth cursed system that unbelievers are dwelling in, but you who have transferred kingdoms and have attached to My Son as a branch to the vine are in the Light. And the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Stop praying from the shadows and step with confidence into the light of the heavenly gold lampstand as you enter into the Holy of Holies behind the veil as My royal priesthood and discern what is pleasing in My sight. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead expose them to the light. The shadows of death and gloom disappear and all things become visible when they are exposed to the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. So, awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you Light, My light, which will shine on you from the face of Christ. Glory in your land, not a shadow of the Glory, but the Glory Himself.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, do not stay in the shadows when you have so much revelation available to you in My Word and in anointed preachers. Learn how to pray in a way that moves things and saves souls from darkness to light because the days are evil. Stop rattling on about why you cannot do things and take authority over the powers of darkness and cast them out. And pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. And don’t be foolish but understand what My will is. My Will is that no one perish but that all be saved and come to know the truth that will set them free. My Will is that you prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. My Will is the BLESSING and has been from the beginning. My first Words to mankind was to bless them and first words are the most important. I do not change.
And do not get drunk with wine, or take other addictive substances, for that will put you back in the shadows and the realm of darkness where you cannot discern your assignments, for that is dissipation of your precious time, but be filled with the Spirit by speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart unto Me. And one of the quickest ways to get into the light is by always giving thanks for all things in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ, My Gift to you, for a grateful heart is a cheerful heart and that is a good medicine to all your flesh and strengthens your bones.
The shadows should no longer be a place you walk. Jesus tasted death for you all. He has redeemed you from the slavery of sin and death and cleansed you with His precious Blood, and released you from all your sins and gave you His own righteousness. Your prayers should be straight to the heart, from your heart to My heart, and filled with the authority I have given you in Christ. When He died to sin once for all, you died to sin, and when I raised Him up from the dead, I raised you with Him, and seated you with Him in Heaven, at the right hand of My throne. I gave you Jesus, and with Him I gave you everything and more. More than you can ever ask or imagine by My power working in you. Stop begging from the shadows and take your seat in the light. All I have is yours. You do not beg for what you own. You use it with gratitude and awe at so great a salvation.
I love you. I am calling you out of darkness into My own marvelous light. Come and draw water with joy from the springs of Salvation, Yeshuah, Jesus. For the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter till you reach perfect day. Stop living in the shadows because the sun of righteousness has risen with healing in His rays. Look for the radiant face.
