For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17.
Today the LORD God says:
Today I would like to talk about how you develop great faith, the kind that can move mountains and change the world. You need to know how to put your faith to work so that you can have the results that My Word promises you.
Faith is not something mysterious that you either have or you do not. Everyone has been given the same measure of faith. Romans 12:3. What you do with it is up to you. Just like your muscles. You all have the same muscles, but what you do with them determines how evident they are. And the more you exercise them, the more they do for you.
It is the same with faith. The more you exercise it, the more it does for you.
Now in developing your muscles, or any skill for that matter, you start with the basics, with small weights or exercises, and as you get stronger and more skillful, you take on larger weights or more complicated exercises. And the more results you see, the more confident you become of relying on your muscles to do what you want them to do. Weight lifters do this but so do gymnasts, boxers, ballet dancers and Olympic skaters. We could say the same for pianists. In fact, we could say this is true of about everything, including growing plants in your yard, it starts with a seed. Small beginnings, greater ends.
Faith works just the same. Great faith is not something that just plops down out of Heaven into your lap. There is a special faith, I call the gift of faith, that is a gift of the Holy Spirit and that is where suddenly My faith is added to yours and you know, without a doubt, that I will show up and do what needs to be done as you witness it with your eyes. And it happens as you watch. But here I am talking about the mountain moving kind of faith that My Son explained to you during His time on the earth. The faith you have in My Word that unites with My power and produces a miracle. This kind of faith is developed by using it. It just does not increase on its own. The same way that muscles that are not used do not develop, in fact they finally do not work at all if they are never used, even though you have them. But once you start using them, they come back quickly. But if you have not been using them you cannot just get up and lift a hundred pound weight without working up to it.
You start with little things, go on to bigger things, and one day are able to do the GREAT thing.
Like My servant David. He trusted Me to give him the power and skill to save his sheep from a lion and a bear, so he was not afraid to rely on Me to give him the strength and skill to conquer Goliath. And after Goliath, he had the faith to take on entire armies of the Philistines and come out victorious every time. Finally he had the faith to rely on Me to give him the strength and skill to conquer all his enemies on every side. Which he did and Israel and Judah had a golden period of peace under his kingship and then that of his son. And he was never even wounded.
Now, let Me tell you the basics of faith. First, you need to understand that you have faith but that you use it as you choose. You make choices of what you will believe and what you will not. You choose all day long whether you believe what someone told you, what you read in the newspaper, what you hear on TV, what a politician says he will do, what a medicine will do for you, and what doctrine or philosophy you will embrace. And how do you make this determination? By the credibility you give to the source of the information.
So the first basic step in developing your faith from little to great is to verify that the source is credible and you can rely on what you hear from that source. You have to have confidence, absolute confidence, unshakeable confidence in the source to have faith in what comes from that source. You have to be fully persuaded (like Abraham, Romans 4:21). Then nothing can move you off your trust in the information from that source and your commitment to that source no matter how contrary the circumstances look.
My Son explained this when His disciples asked Him how He managed to cause a result that appeared impossible by speaking to a fig tree. Mark 11:22. His explanation was the first basic exercise to build great faith. He said “Have faith in God.” In other words, you first have to be convinced that I am credible. That I do not lie. That I am interested in doing good to you.
If you are checking to see if a person is worthy of belief, say for a medical opinion, you look at his credentials and his achievements. If he never had any studies in medicine and has never treated the sick, you probably decide his opinion is not one to be relied on. But if he is a highly qualified doctor that earned several degrees in medicine, has a lot of successful work he has done with patients, and has given seminars and written books that have produced amazing results, you probably decide his opinion can be relied upon.
Now, look at My credentials and achievements. I created the world and all there is in it. Just look around. You must know that all the wonderful things you see did not just appear by themselves. I created you. You are wonderfully made. I made the sun, moon, stars, indeed, the entire universe. And it is full of amazing properties you have not nearly found the whole of yet. I count and name all the stars.
I have rescued people from entire armies, diseases, famine, lions, fire, flood, wars, and disasters. I have raised the dead, healed the sick, calmed storms, and taken people who trusted Me out of prison to rule a nation. I have sent angels to destroy enemy armies, to open prison gates, to move boulders, and to protect you from accidents. I have legions of angels at My command which I made to serve you.
I have rained down bread from heaven on the desert, I have made water gush out of rocks, and I have transported people to places far from where they were in a moment. I have multiplied bread and fish to feed a multitude, I have made water into wine, I provided supplies of flour and oil where they was only a bit left and fed a household for more than a year, I have caused barren women to become the happy mothers of children, I have made the deaf to hear and the blind to see, and have healed the limbs of those unable to walk. I could go on and on.
I keep the planet orbiting around the sun at just the right distance so you do not burn up or freeze. I keep the plants growing and your food coming.
I hear you when you call on Me. I answer you. I sustain your life and breath and being.
Read My book to you, the Bible, and you will learn who I am and what My will is. Once you know Me and know My Will, it is then your faith will take a big step to go from little to great. And once you know, and begin asking for things according to My Will, such as healing, prosperity, and good things for yourself and others, you will begin to see those things come to pass and each time one comes to pass your confidence will grow, which is your faith. You will know My Word to you cannot fail but will come to pass if you do not let it go and give up before you get the result. My just man shall live by faith and I take no pleasure if he draws back. Why? Because then I cannot give him the desired result if he quits to soon.
And you must not only believe in Me as the source of all truth, but you must come to believe that I am your God. That I know and love YOU. Not just you in general but you in particular. You must be able to confidently call Me “My God” and claim Me as your own. You must believe that I AM with you and that I will never leave you or forsake you. That I hear you, know you and love you. That I have ears attentive to your cry and that My heart yearns to care for you. You must know that you can cast all your cares on Me because I care for you. You must develop your faith in My love for you.
I am YOUR God and I love you with an everlasting love. I am interested in YOU and My plans for you are good. I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and from childhood I have loved you. My Promises are promises to YOU.
You must also know that you are My righteousness in Christ. That your sins have all been judged, condemned and punished in the body of My Son and that you are free and holy and blameless in My sight. Your sins and offenses I remember no more. Receive the gift of righteousness and the abundance of faith and know that I am well pleased in you.
Once you have faith in My personal care for you then comes the exercise part.
You must speak My Words, and only My Words, over your life and that of others. NO negative fear-filled words. Those are not from Me. Jesus said He only spoke My Words because He knew they gave eternal life.
This is how you build and exercise your faith. You take My Words and return them to Me by speaking them and doing them yourself. Isaiah 55:10-11. They will not return to Me void. I watch over My Word to perform it. What you say will come to pass. I create by My Words and so do you as you are in My image.
Let Me give you an example of what I mean and you will understand how to do it in other areas such as finances and provision. Let us say you need healing. Refuse to say that you cannot be healed, that your ailment or handicap is incurable and nothing can be done. This is not true but if that is all the confidence you have that is what will continue to be in your life. No, instead find My Will on the matter and see what My Word says about it. Then refuse to say anything else but that. My Word is truth so you will be speaking the truth. Also do not blame Me and yell at Me about your pain or illness. I did not give it to you or cause it. My Will, as done in Heaven, is no pain, no illness, no crying and no dying. Revelation 21:4. And I ask you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. I am your healer. Exodus 15:26. Take advantage of that, do not go after the only One that can help you as if I were an enemy. I will never harm you. My delight is in doing good to you. Jeremiah 32:40-41.
Instead begin to rejoice that you have a Healer who is all powerful and wills to heal you. No, I am not telling you to rejoice that you are in pain or sick, I am asking you to rejoice that you have Me who has told you that I am your Healer and that means you will not stay in that pain or sickness but that you will be healed if you take hold of My power to heal with your faith. Look up how this works and do that. Start small, every day thank Me for your healing. Say My Words over yourself. By My Son’s beating you were healed. He bore all your ills and sins in His own Body. Take advantage of that and declare it so in your life.
Say the following Scriptures from the Bible as your daily medicine (take as many doses as needed):
I shall not die but live, and tell the works of the LORD. (Psalm 118:17)
God, You have sent Your Word to heal me and deliver me from all destruction. I receive Your Word for my healing. It is working in Me now! (Psalm 107:20) Your Word is working in me!
Father, You are my Healer. I do not fear. I trust in You. You are my LORD who heals me. I praise You. (Exodus 15:26; Hosea 11:4; Psalm 91: 5-6). Thank you for my healing!
I bless You, Lord, that in Jesus’ Name you forgive all my sins and heal all my sickness and diseases. (Psalm 103:2,3)
I have life and have it abundantly (to the fullest) because You came, Jesus, to give it to me. I claim that Life. (John 10:10)
Father, I keep Your Word in my heart and it gives health to my whole body. (Proverbs 4:21, 22)
By the wounds of Jesus I am healed. (Isaiah 53, 4,5; 1 Peter 2:24). I was healed, I am healed, and I will stay healed.
Jesus, You took all my sickness and disabilities and You bore all my diseases. I now roll all this sickness (pain, disability) off my body onto Yours. (Matthew 8:17)
Lord, I know it is Your Will to heal me. And I know that whenever I ask anything according to Your Will you hear me, and if you hear me I know that what I have asked for is Mine! 1 John 5:14-15. So your Will be done and I receive My healing. (Matthew 8:8). Thank you for healing Me!
Jesus, You heal all who are sick and so You heal me. I thank and praise Your Mighty Name. (Matthew 8:16)
I belong to Christ and nothing shall ever harm me. (Luke 10:19)
Lord, You are my refuge and my dwelling place so no sickness can continue to abide in my body (Psalm 91: 9-10).
I praise You Lord, You carry my burdens day after day; You are the God who saves me. You are my Lord. You rescue me from death. (Psalm 68:19-20)
I believe in Jesus so in His Name I can cast out demons and the sick on whom I lay my hands recover. (Mark 16:17-18). I now lay my hands on myself in Jesus’ Name and I shall recover.
Therefore, I exercise my authority in Jesus’ Name, the Name above every other name (including the name of __________, here say the name of your ailment) and I command you (say whatever the illness or problem is) to leave my body. I rebuke, curse and bind you in Jesus’ Name (Philippians 2:9-11; Mark 11:23-24, Matthew 18:18, Luke 4:39).
As you say these things, and refuse to say anything else, your faith will grow. Faith comes by hearing. So take care what you are listening to. Do not be listening or saying how bad you feel, how it is no better yet, how dangerous or terminal your condition is, how scared you are, how you do not know if I will really heal you, etc. This all may be true by your emotions and sight and by the law of sin and death that is in the world though the wrong choices people have made, but there is a higher law, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, that can trump that law, just as the law of aerodynamics trumps the law of gravity so that when you get in a plane you overcome the law of gravity. Romans 8:2.
And make the decision that you are convinced, committed, and confident that if you keep doing this you will get the result you want. Do not waste your time begging Me to do something I have told you is My Will. I have provided it for you already. You just have to take it by faith. And you do this by speaking it with your mouth and believing it in your heart. Romans 10:7-10. Just like the woman who grabbed hold of My Son’s cloak and took her healing by faith. Mark 5:25-34.
And go even farther. Lay your hands on others that are sick and speak healing over them in Jesus’ Name. Peter and John stepped out and begin to practice this and watched a crippled man walk. What if they had not taken the step but hung back for fear of failure? Step out and do as I tell you and leave the rest to Me.
And when you see evil around, do what I tell you in My Word, cast out the demons in Jesus’ Name. If you are submitted to Me, the devil has to flee when you tell him to go for you are clothed in Christ. Do not be telling Me to cast out the demon. My Word tells you that I have given you the power to do so and given that job to you. Try it next time he works some evil in your life or that of those around you. You will see things change.
And if you really believe My Word you will get excited for your miracle. And you will not let go until it comes to pass. And the greater your faith gets the sooner and sooner you will get the result. You will automatically attack and rebuke every cold, sore throat, headache, or fever at the first symptoms, you will bind the spirit of pain, and you will get your result immediately once you are convinced that I have sent My Son to die for you so you could have your healing. Do not let His great sufferings and death be of no use to you when it cost Him so much to obtain your forgiveness, prosperity, life, and healing.
And begin to practice speaking to things like My Son told you to do and like He did. Speak to your problems and tell them to go. Rebuke storms, illness, poverty and lack. Speak abundance and mighty miracles. Mark 11:22-24.
Refuse defeat when you know My Word says the opposite. Speak the victory. Say My Word to you, return it to Me, and watch it come to pass. “Thanks be to God, who has given me the victory in Christ Jesus, my Lord!” 1 Corinthians 15:57. Say it often and get the faith that you are more than a conqueror in Me, who loves you. Romans 8:37.
You have the same spirit of faith as Joshua, Caleb, Elijah and Paul. And Paul told you what that does: “We believe and so we speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13.
I love you. You can be confident of My love. Exercise your faith. I have great works for you to do. Get ready and go into training now.
