The LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.  Moreover the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.  Deuteronomy 30:3-6.

And they will take their captors captive and will rule over their oppressors.  Isaiah 14:2.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.  Colossians 2:8-15.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

I restore (shub in Hebrew) you from captivity (shebuth in Hebrew, you will see it translated as captivity, captives, and fortunes, its root is “shabah”, the verb meaning to take captive, capture) and take your captors captive (capture those who had captured you—shabah).  And when I restore (shub), it is better than it was before in quantity or quality or both.  You rule over your oppressors and you prosper and increase more than the prior generation.

Restore you from captivity.  Get ready to sing a song of ascents (going up to the holy of holies) and sing: “When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream.  Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, ‘The LORD has done great things for them.’  The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad.  Restore us from captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.  He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126.

It is I, even I, who restore you, not by human power nor might, but by My Spirit.

Jesus opened the scroll of Isaiah in that synagogue at Nazareth and He read from the prophet Isaiah.  And He read that My Spirit was upon Him and had anointed Him, to proclaim to captives liberty (deror, which means a flowing, free run, liberty release).  It is the word I use for the Jubilee year.  Leviticus 25:10. I use it in the books of Leviticus, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.  I use it only eight times in My Word and all except the first use of it in Exodus 30:23 (flowing myrrh) refer to the Jubilee year when all is restored and slaves are set free.

Are you beginning to tap into the enormity of what I am telling you?  Jesus came to give you the promise of Deuteronomy 30.  Jesus restores you from captivity and takes your captors captive (the devil, demons, the flesh).  When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:15. He frees you from the slavery of sin and death by circumcision of the heart. Through Him you rule and reign in life by the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness and I have put your enemies under your feet and seated you in heavenly places with and in Him.

And from before the foundation of the world, knowing of Adam’s disobedience that brought death on all, it was My determined plan and purpose to do this for you in Christ. I predestined you to adoption as sons through Jesus to Myself according to the kind intention of My Will. Ephesians 1:5. To make you joint heirs with Him and give you a double portion of everything forever. The double portion enables you to enter My Shabbat, My rest.

In Greek, the original language of the New Testament, the word you translate as “kind intention” is eudokian, which means “good pleasure,” “delight,” and “good will” (you see that in Luke 2:14).  It is the noun and the verb is “eudokeo,” which I use when I tell you that it pleases Me to give you My Kingdom as the little flock of your great good Shepherd, Jesus. I have given you My Son, My Spirit, and My Kingdom. That is everything you will ever need and beyond for life and godliness—for eternity.

It pleased Me to crush Jesus so that all your sins would be gone, borne by Him and punished in Him, so that you could be restored from captivity of sin and death. And by His stripes, I healed you. You are set free from having to accept sickness, pain, and disease.

He announced the year of favor, of Jubilee, that day when His public ministry was beginning in Nazareth, and it is still continuing for you who believe.  He came to redeem you.  By grace you have been saved through faith and this is not of your works, but Mine in Christ. It is the finished work of Christ that completes you.

Look again at the promise, not only do I restore you from captivity and prosper you more than your fathers, I also promise that I will circumcise your heart and the heart of your children (seed) to love Me (Aleph Tav YHWH,  – יהוה את ) with all your heart and soul to the purpose (intent) (maan in Hebrew) that you may live (have life).

This is the first of all the commandments and the most important—Hear O Israel, the LORD your God is LORD alone, therefore you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.  Jesus fulfills the Law for you.  And He writes My Law in your heart so you may do it naturally.  Grace teaches you to love and enables you to behave like Me, restored from captivity to be again in My image.  Why? I pour My love into your heart through My gift of the Holy Spirit.  I anoint you and fill you with love, joy, peace, patience and all the fruit of the Spirit if you will take the seed of My Word into your heart, cling to it, abide in it and let it grow to harvest.

And how do I do this?  Under the Abrahamic and Mosaic Covenants man circumcised his flesh in an attempt to cut away the flesh and join with Me in spirit and truth.  It was an attempt to be born again and free of the hindrance and encumbrance of sin—to become a friend of Mine and showing it passed to your descendants, to your seed.  But you could not do this on your own, this was merely a shadow of the good things to come in Christ, He is the substance.

Now I think you will understand what My apostle Paul understood so well when by My Spirit he wrote about the circumcision of your heart: “in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day—things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.  Colossians 2:10-17.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.

He came to bring liberty to captives.  If you continue in His Word you are truly His disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.  And the one the Son sets free is free indeed.

You have been freed from all the power of the evil one.  Have you realized it and taken authority in the Name of Jesus and by the His precious blood?  Let the redeemed of the LORD say so.

I have done great things for you.  Sing with joy and you will reap.  You sow in tears but to reap you must do so in joy.  Enjoy My gift of Jesus for in Him I have given you everything good.  It is My good pleasure to do so, not by any righteous act you have done but My grace justified by what He has done for you.

If you note in My promises to you in Deuteronomy 30, are all about what I do for you.  It is I who restore, prosper and circumcise your heart.  I ask only that you love and keep My Word.  I do it all for you in Jesus, My Word made flesh.  You need only to receive My Son and it is yours to take.

But you must cling to My Word and make it the way you think, act and speak.  It is then you shall reap the benefits of an abundant harvest.

I love you. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of Salvation.  This is the time I will restore to you all you have lost with the double portion of the firstborn as joint heirs with Christ.  This is the year of Jubilee, the year the Lion of the Tribe of Judah will roar.  And it begins now with Advent.  Look for great miracles, signs and wonders that follow My Word.  Won’t you proclaim it?  Proclaim liberty to captives. Will no one say, “Restore!”?
