Then I will make up to you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust. Joel 3:25.
He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. Revelation 9:2-4.
Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
There is a saying that people say, “it is not over till it’s over.” But I have good news for you, for the believer it is NEVER over. There is always another round, another opportunity—an open door. Your dreams are not gone as they seem. You can live your dreams. There is still time and there is eternity. But I want you to know there is time. And soon you will understand what I mean if you read on.
Moses thought his dreams ended when he killed an Egyptian, lost his place in the palace and the dynasty of the rulers of Egypt, and fled to the back side of the desert watching another man’s sheep for forty years. But he had not lost his dreams. He became the leader of a vast multitude of people out of whom I formed a nation, a people of My own, a people of Covenant—Israel. He spoke with Me and received the information and revelation to write the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. He dreamed of seeing My glory and I let Him glimpse it. But he had another dream he thought he lost, “Let me, I pray, cross over and see the fair land that is beyond the Jordan, the good mountain and Lebanon,” he asked this of me earnestly. Deuteronomy 3:25. But at that time I just told him not to speak to Me about it further. I did not deny his request. And two thousand years later he had his dream, he stood on the good mountain from which you can see Lebanon, the mountain where I came in a cloud of glory with Moses and Elijah, the good mountain where Jesus was transfigured before the eyes of his disciples, Peter, James and John. And Moses conversed with Jesus there. Yes, he had his dreams. But he had more dreams, and there is coming a day when he will live those on earth too.
And so will all of you who believe.
The second death will not touch you if you have taken Jesus as Lord, and you, who have chosen the Kingdom who are living now in this age and those in the ages before, will experience Christ’s reign of a thousand years from David’s throne in Jerusalem, Mt. Zion, on earth before the end of time comes and the new heavens and the earth are birthed and Jesus hands all over to Me. 1 Corinthians 15:20-28. Do you know of what I am speaking? I am speaking to you of the period called the Millennium. A mystery to many of why after the period of such great tribulation and after Christ, the believers who have been enjoying the marriage feast of the Lamb in Heaven, and the host of Heaven have come riding on white horses conquering the evil one, Revelation 19:9-21, that at that time Satan is only chained up for a thousand years and then loosed again for one final battle before it is finished and My Heavenly Jerusalem at last joins with new heavens and a new earth where I dwell with you forever. Why not skip that thousand years? I call it the Kingdom of My Beloved Son and I have transferred you out of the realm of darkness into that very Kingdom. Colossians 1:13.
My beloved John had this revealed to him when he was exiled on Patmos. In fact, he made good use of his time, which could have been a wasted time of surviving the exile, but he turned it into a time of connection and revelation in My presence. A time set apart for Me to show him great and mighty things he could not know. A time to complete the visions that the patriarchs and prophets had been seeing glimpses and fragments of over the years as they dreamed dreams and saw visions. I am speaking of the end times and the final joining of Heaven and earth in complete newness of life with the curse gone forever. But there is more.
Why the thousand-year reign of Christ as King from David’s throne in Jerusalem from Mt Zion? Why did I promise David that? 2 Samuel 7:16. Why did Isaiah prophesy it? Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 16:5. Why did Gabriel announce that to Mary? Luke 1:32. Why did Ezekiel speak of it? Ezekiel 34:23-24. Why did Paul speak of it? 1 Corinthians 15:20-28; Colossians 1:13.
It is a time for the golden period of fulfillment, of closure to all that was in the hearts of My saints down the ages. The time to live, still on earth and in time, the dreams that you thought you lost. And yes, there is a Scripture, in fact more than one, telling you this.
First remember that My Words in the Bible have many layers, they apply to immediate and future times. So keep that always in mind. You may think it refers to an event that is now past, and often for the day it was told it did because at that time it was still a future event but which has now been fulfilled, but often it also refers to something that is yet to come and is also applicable there. I am the God who is, who was and who is to come. I make all things new. Remember Jesus told you that a scribe in My house brings out the old and the new.
In the Book of My prophet Joel, after My prophet Joel describes a vision of an advancing and ruthless wave of the enemy that is very close to the visions John sees on Patmos of the last half of the seven years of tribulation, Joel 2:3-10; Revelation 9:3-10. Immediately after this onslaught that leaves a devastated earth, Joel prophesies a period of great rejoicing and abundance where from the devastated earth springs forth new growth and new grain, wine and oil for the children of Zion (Zion is the place of grace and the church of the first born which you have access to within by My Spirit—assemblies, convocations of Zion under the canopy of glory have already begun in the Church), a time when no evil, calamity or war is known. And here is what Joel states that applies to the thousand year reign of the Kingdom of My Beloved Son on earth before He hands all over to Me, “Then I will make up to you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; then My people will never be put to shame. Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and there is no other; and My people will never be put to shame.” Joel 3:25-27. Made up years, restored years—years that were eaten away by the world, the flesh and the devil are restored as yours in that thousand years. All that was stolen from you by that ancient serpent, unwise choices, and missed opportunities through disobedience or ignorance, will be restored, and when I restore it is better than before, it is MUCH MORE. You will all live your dearest dreams and you will live them on earth in a society unhindered by evil, lack, or unrighteousness.
And here is a second witness from Scripture, again after a description of great evil and desolation comes the restoration of a world with no evil present (remember Satan and his followers are all locked up and those who are not in the Lamb’s Book of Life do not enjoy the first resurrection of the Millennium but remain with the dead in Sheol until the white throne judgment when Christ hands all over to Me when I have made every enemy His footstool), “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing and her people for gladness. I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; and there will no longer be heard in her the voice of weeping and the sound of crying. No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his days; for the youth will die at the age of one hundred and the one who does not reach the age of one hundred will be thought accursed. They will build houses and inhabit them; they will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They will not build and another inhabit, they will not plant and another eat; for as the days of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will wear out the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, or bear children for calamity; for they are the offspring of those blessed by the Lord, and their descendants with them. It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 65:18-25.
Do you note? In this perfect world of no evil there are also those who are of flesh and blood. There is much for you to understand here. But those of the first resurrection, they will be priests of Me and Christ and reign with Him for a thousand years. Remember the parable of the talents? Some took ten cities, some five. There is a heavenly combination here uniting earth and heaven on earth in time. It is an extraordinary period.
Let Me ask you, without the Millennium, how can you have your years restored? How can you make them up? In the world as it is now you grow older, people die and depart, and the devil and his demons, along with the people whom he has captured to do his will, are still on the earth thwarting and stealing your dreams. And the curse is still rampart in the earth and will try to take you down. There is no way in this world as it is now that you can live dreams that needed to be lived in your youth, in your young family, in children, and in days past. No, to come to pass it will have to be in a world of no evil where time is restored in youthful resurrection for those who have died in Me in the ages past, all the way back to Adam, Eve and Abel.
And yet in the Millennium, you not only have the resurrected saints, and you should look forward to meeting them all, Ezekiel 34:24, but as you read in Revelation 20 and Isaiah 65, you have also those of flesh and blood who survived the period of tribulation who continue in a human mortal body who are considered mere youths at one hundred years old and have children who are blessed and never know calamity or evil, as Isaiah and Ezekiel prophesied, with the Son of David as their Shepherd. And during this amazing reign of Christ on David’s throne there will be nothing but showers of blessing on My holy hill. Ezekiel 34:26.
But just as you had to make a choice between darkness and light, between the devil and Jesus, before you were sealed in the first resurrection, so those who survive the tribulation will have to also be given the opportunity to make the choice that every person must make. It is the decision to receive Jesus as Lord, without which you cannot be born again and you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven itself. Even the patriarchs and those of the Old Covenant waited in Paradise, Abraham’s bosom, for the descent and resurrection of My Son so they could all make the choice to be born again. And how can those living and born in the Millennium choose if there is no choice? I had to give Adam and Eve one point of choice to exercise their will for Me or against Me. In this way I know who I can trust in My Kingdom so that no evil can enter there. This will come about at the end of the thousand-year reign in the final battle that happens when Satan and his demons are loosed for a season. Those of the first resurrection are secure for their choice has already been sealed in the days before the thousand year reign, but those who never knew evil or made a choice will have the opportunity to join in the good fight of faith before all is finished and the final judgment ensues before My great white throne, but that judgment is only for those who lived and made the choice from ages past and from those who lived and made their choice in the later days, to erase their names out of the Lamb’s Book of Life. Revelation 3:5. For all of you are included until you make the choice not to be. That is why infants and babies dispatched in the womb come home to Me.
And you who dreamed of children but remained barren, or who miscarried, or your child died at a young age, do you see the Millennium in this passage? “Lift up your eyes round about and see; they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried in the arms. Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice.” Isaiah 60:4-5. And again “Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; break forth into joyful singing and shout aloud, you who have not travailed; for the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD. “Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities. Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; and do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; but you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.” Isaiah 54:1-4.
I love you. Do you still not understand? Paul tried to convey it, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.” There is still time for your dreams, they are not gone as they seem, choose the best part, rest on My heart, we have time and eternity! Everything is yours in Christ—the past, the present and the future! With Me, you can rewrite it all according to your dreams. And the best part is after the Millennium is over, and your life on earth is fulfilled for completion in each of you, then the real rejoicing begins when you join with Me to reign forever in My awesome, amazing, magnificent Kingdom of Light, prepared for you from the foundation of the world, where the super becomes natural and there are no limits of time, space, or mortality. And there it is nothing but perfect day without end. Glory lit. It will be one new great adventure after another with no hindrance at all on what you can do. And all will be love. All is shalom. Nothing missing, nothing broken and no one alone. Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is worth the wait and worth the good fight of faith. He who has this hope keeps himself pure as I am pure. Pure love. And it is all yours in Christ Jesus your Lord. Forever.
Now I will share some passages that touch on the Millennium, which you may not have noticed before:
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be abolished is death. For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15:22-28.
“Then I will set over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd. And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David will be prince among them; I the Lord have spoken. I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. They will no longer be a prey to the nations, and the beasts of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make them afraid. I will establish for them a renowned planting place, and they will not again be victims of famine in the land, and they will not endure the insults of the nations anymore. Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are My people,” declares the Lord God. “As for you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God,” declares the Lord God. Ezekiel 34:23-31.
For You shall break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, as at the battle of Midian. For every boot of the booted warrior in the battle tumult, and cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire. For a child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:4-7.
But as for Me, I have consecrated My King upon Zion, My holy mountain. I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, “You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.” Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way. Psalm 2:6-12.
For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased, oppressors have completely disappeared from the land. A throne will even be established in lovingkindness, and a judge will sit on it in faithfulness in the tent of David; moreover, He will seek justice and be prompt in righteousness. Isaiah 16:4-5.
For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us. Isaiah 33:22.
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
Then I saw thrones, and they [i.e., believers prior to the tribulation who did not have to experience it but went up in the rapture] sat on them, and judgment was given to them.[1 Corinthians 6:2, “Or do you not know that the believers will judge the world?”] I And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:1-6.
When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the believers and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10.
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead,[i.e., those who never received Jesus as Lord] the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. [If you die without Christ you die in your sins] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds [not grace, these are the ones who never received Jesus as Lord but refused to do so knowingly] Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15.
