In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You overcome the accusations, the tactics, and the oppression of the devil and the forces of evil by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony.
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:10-11.
At the first Passover when I redeemed My people from the destroyer and the oppression of slavery I did it by the blood of the lamb and the eating of its flesh with unleavened bread.
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and take for yourselves lambs according to your families, and slay the Passover lamb. You shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts; and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.” Exodus 12:21-23.
Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. They shall eat the flesh that same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. Exodus 12:7-8.
Now Jesus, your Passover, has been sacrificed once for all. He is the Lamb foretold by Abraham that I Myself supplied to take away the sins of the world.
These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:28-29.
And He took them away, that is, made propitiation for all your sins, by His blood. His pure blood, His cleansing blood, that has no impurities or death in it, it is eternal blood that He gave to pay the judgment for the eternal life you murdered by rejecting the imperishable seed of My Word for the perishable lies of the devil. In His blood is an ever flowing fountain of cleansing purity from the sacrifice of the Cross.
For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:19-22.
He made peace, shalom, wholeness, through the blood of His cross and it won for you eternal redemption. And if you walk in the Light with Me the blood of Jesus continually cleanses you of all sin and unrighteousness.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son continually cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:6-7.
He redeemed you from the slavery of sin and death by purifying you of all evil with His blood.
Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 1 Peter 1:18-19.
You cannot buy your salvation by perishable things like silver and gold, they do not pay for or atone for your sins. Adam murdered the eternal life in himself and all his descendants and for the eternal life he lost, and eternal life was owed. But why the blood?
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement. Leviticus 17:10.
Jesus atoned for your sins by His eternal blood. Sin is of the flesh.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4.
Blood is of the flesh, that is why Jesus had to take on flesh and blood to atone for your sins. Spirits have no blood.
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
But it is not just atonement on the altar. I also instructed Moses to sprinkle the people with the blood.
Even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded you.” And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood. And according to the Law almost all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:18-22.
I tell you that those in Heaven have washed their robes and made them pure white (as if sin had never been) in the blood of the lamb. Revelation 7:14. The blood of Jesus does not stain, it lifts off all the stain of sin in you and makes you pure. Though your sins be red as crimson in the blood of the lamb they are washed away and you become pure and white as freshly fallen snow.
Imagine yourself before the sign of the Son of Man, that is, the cross and you will see the blood of Jesus rolling down from His mangled body as if a fountain of redemption, rich and ruby colored rolling out from the foot of the cross as a mighty river and watch it roll to and billow over you, completely flowing through every part of you taking out every trace of sin, every demon, and every work of the devil. As that river washes over you, you are cleansed and freed of every evil work.
And as the river rolls on to another to cleanse and free them from sin, look and see what has washed to the shore in the shallow edges of the river and you will see what is left of the debris that came out with your cleansing and you will see the carcasses of reptiles and deadly things, the vestiges of the unclean spirits that had dwelt in you at times in the past and watch them vanish in the all consuming earth-shaking, mountain moving blood of the lamb that has opened up a new and living way for you right into the Holy of Holies by the blood. This is why Satan will do anything to stop you from speaking, pleading, calling upon, or using the blood against him, it renders him helpless and is a barrier, just as it was the night of the first Passover, he cannot cross to destroy you or your household. It totally overcomes him when it washes over a believer. There is then no entrance for him.
The blood of Jesus not only clears your sin away, removes all demonic activity, but it also clears the way for you to come to Me.
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22.
The Spirit, the water, and the blood, these three, testify to Jesus, that eternal life is in Him. And remember I speak the end from the beginning. It is the blood first to cleanse you of all sin and unrighteousness, to put you right with Me. It is then the water of the Word to cleanse and renew your mind so you can see My glory shining of the face of Christ. And then you are ready for the infilling of the Holy Spirt.
The blood of Jesus also speaks to Me of you and it speaks to Me upon the mercy seat testifying to the truth of your eternal redemption.
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14.
The blood also reassures you of your salvation and your righteousness, cleansing your conscience of past sins, guilt and shame. It speaks of peace to you, peace with Me, reconciled and righteous in My eyes by the blood of the cross.
I love you and I have washed you clean in the blood of the lamb.
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21.
