Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.
Then God said, “Light be!”; and light was. Genesis 1:3.
Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus *said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.” John 11:43-44.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Why are you sitting in darkness when you have the Light? No follower of My Son will ever walk in darkness, oh no! he will have the Light of life. I have given you My Son and in Him I gave you the Light of the world. I rescued you from the realm of darkness and transferred you into the Kingdom of My beloved Son in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins! And in Him, I qualified you for the inheritance of the holy ones in light. Yes, I have called you out of darkness into My own marvelous light. Awake sleeper! And Christ will give you light. Why slumber in the darkness, why dwell there, when you have so great a light in you. A little slumber, a little sleep, a little folding of the arms to rest, and the fight is gone. Guard you heart with diligence. Stay awake. Stay alert, for the darkness is out there seeking to block out the light, seeking to blind your eyes to the light shining in your heart, seeking to put it under a bushel basket.
Why are you sitting in the darkness of confusion, depression, despair, grief, regret, hopelessness, isolation, addiction, anger, bitterness, and lethargy when you have the light? OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND DISPEL THE DARKNESS. YOU TURN ON THE LIGHT BY MY WORD. MY WORD IS THE LIGHT TO YOUR PATH, A LAMP TO YOUR FEET. The opening of My Word gives light.
Do not speak darkness, speak LIGHT and the Light of the World will enlighten your life.
You may not realize it or be conscious of it, but if you are sitting in darkness, you are thinking and speaking darkness. If you are talking about how awful the things are at work, at home, in your body, in your heart, if you are complaining and grumbling about others and speaking the awful and threatening things you think they are going to do or the disastrous results in your finances or health that you are predicting then YOU are speaking darkness and that is what you will have. By YOUR words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned. You condemn yourself, I don’t. I gave you Jesus so that if you receive Him as Lord you have no condemnation for He took it all. Remember? I rescued you from the realm of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of your sins. For the curse arose in the earth from sin and I have redeemed you from the curse by cursing My Son with the dust of death. He took your sentence of death, paid it in full, and I raised Him with all that gone, done, satisfied and finished. Paid in full. You have no more debt with Me.
When you turn to Jesus and receive the forgiveness of your sins and your healing in Him who is your Light, I say of you, “Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom! Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor!” Then you will be radiant and pray to Me and I will accept you that you may see My face with JOY. My face shines on you to light your life. And I restore My righteousness to you. And then you shall sing, like David, of all I have done for you and acknowledge, “I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. But He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.” Behold! I do this for all who will receive My Son, to bring back your soul from the pit, that you may be enlightened with the light of life. Job 33:24-29.
Why do you sit in fear when you have the Word of faith? Open your mouth and dispel the fear by speaking the Word of faith. Jesus gave you His peace, which is My peace, do not let your heart be troubled (darkness) and do not let it be afraid (double darkness). Do not go under the veil of darkness and heaviness that veils all people and blinds them to the light. Tear it away and let the light shine in. You may be wondering how you do this. Imitate Me as My dear children. What did I do in the deep darkness? I spoke. “Light be!” and light was. My Word dispelled the darkness and brought light. It still does. THE LIGHT WAS IN THE WORD SPOKEN. THE LIGHT WAS IN MY WORD AND THE SPEAKING OF THE WORD RELEASED IT.
Do you understand? Healing is in My Words. They are life to those who find them and healing and health to all their flesh. And speaking (decreeing, commanding) My Word releases it. In the word of a king there is power. And My Son has made you a kingdom of priests, a royal priesthood. And this is My covenant with you, My Words in your mouth and My Spirit on you and in you. Isaiah 59:21; John 14:
I am My Word. My beloved John wrote, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overpower it.” John 1:1-5.
Speaking releases the creative power in the imperishable seed of My Word. Call on Me and I will answer you. I answer you by sending My Word to heal you and deliver you. I put it in your heart and in your mouth but you must give it utterance or it remains just a seed.
Words are arrows you shoot at the mark. Swiftly runs My Word to achieve the end for which it is targeted. Sin misses the mark.
My Word is living and working, sharper than a two edged (mouthed) sword, penetrating between joints and marrow and the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Use My Word to shoot down the fiery missiles of the evil one. Intercept them with My Words. Move mountains with the dynamite power in My Words. Death and life are in the power of your tongue. My Words are not idle and evil they are life.
The opening of My Word gives light and you open My Word to yourself and others by speaking it. How can people have faith unless they hear My Words and how can they hear unless someone will preach it? And how can you preach it unless you are sent? But as I sent Jesus, so He sent you and then He breathed on you and gave you the Holy Spirit to guide you to all truth and give you Words and a wisdom no one can take exception to or contradict. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news of Jesus, who is My Word!
Move the mountains that are hiding the Sun of Righteousness with its healing rays. Let the light in to make meadows of fragrant flowers and the sunshine of My love. Let My Word bring you out of the darkness to a wide, airy, light and open space. Let Me light your lamp with My Word and dispel the darkness around you. Put on the armor of light. My glory shines on you. So arise and shine!
I called you out of darkness into My marvelous light. Why hang back in the shadows? The Light has come. A people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and He is the Light of the world. In you is light, the Light of the world, your hope of glory. Kings shall walk by your radiance. Do not put that light in you under a bushel basket of depression, fear, greed, lust, hopelessness, and surrender to the darkness. Let out the Light, release it by your words which match My Words. Be radiant.
Let Me share with you what happened with My Son’s friends Martha, Mary and Lazarus. Lazarus had died and was bound up in the darkness of the grave. But My Son who is the Resurrection and the Light came and called him out of that grave—out of darkness into My marvelous light. First the stone had to be rolled away (your stony heart) and then Jesus called him, “Lazarus, come out!” Out of death to new life. Out of darkness into My marvelous light. Out of weakness to strength. And he came, but was still all tied up by the past. So Jesus spoke again, “Untie him and let him go free!” And it was then he could see the light of life. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. My Son came to undo the works of the devil—to unite you and let you go free as children of light. The Light of the world has set you free from the darkness and enlightened you with the light of life.
When your eyesight is good, that is, the renewed mind of the believer which is the mind of the anointing and the anointed one, you are full of light, like a lamp was shining in and on you. But if your eye is evil, that is, dwelling in the things of darkness, you will be in darkness and how deep that darkness will be.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Light of the world, and on things above where He is seated with Me in the realm of Light, and where I have seated you too in Him, and this will light your lamp (your spirit and soul) and your whole body will be bathed in light. And Light makes everything it fills into Light. For the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Light always overpowers darkness if you just let it enter.
I love you. Why are you sitting in darkness when you have the Light? Open your mouth and dispel the darkness. You turn on the light by My Word. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. Do not speak darkness, speak light and the Light of the world will enlighten your life. Why do you sit in fear when you have the Word of faith? Open your mouth and dispel the fear by speaking the Word of faith. The light, the healing, the provision, the protection, the prosperity, the vision are in My Word, and the speaking of My Word releases it.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread? Psalm 27:1.
