“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
It is time that instead of beating yourself up over your sins and mistakes that you got thrilled with My mercy. Remember I sent Jesus as your savior and He still is. If you need a savior, call on Him.
You do not even begin to understand the depth at which you can live your life in and with and through Christ.
For if by the transgression of the one (the first Adam) death reigned through the one, MUCH MORE all those who receive the ABUNDANCE of grace and the GIFT of righteousness will REIGN in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17. The free gift results in reconciliation by justification. You are saved by His life. Romans 5:10. It is time you walked in newness of life. Romans 6:4. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Even so consider yourself to be dead to sin in Him who died, for the death Jesus died He died to sin once for all, but My glory raised Him from the dead and the life He lives, He lives to Me. So consider yourself dead to sin but alive to Me. I have saved you from the body of death. Sin is no longer master over you. You are not under the Law, but under grace. My Son did not come to judge and condemn you but to save you. Romans 6:3-14.
Why do you come before Me acting as one condemned? You have been made holy and blameless, beyond reproach before Me by what I have done for you in Christ.
It all has to do with where you set your mind. I have raised you up with Christ, so keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at My right hand. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died to sin in Him and your life is hidden with Christ in Me and He is hidden in you. When Christ, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4.
The mind set on the flesh is death. By the mind set on the flesh I mean when you live only by what you experience with your five physical senses, walking in the flesh and focusing on the things of the flesh, it is then fear enters in, as well as anxiety, anger, offense, pride, immorality, lies, and a host of other harmful things from the evil one. But the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, that is, walking in the Spirit focusing on faith, peace, love, forgiveness and joy.
You can live your life through Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. You have all those three in Him. You can abide in Him as a branch in a vine and bear much fruit by His divine life enabling you to do so. Put your roots deep down into Him and be like the tree planted near springs of underground water whose leaves never fades and who bears fruit in due season. Put your tap root, so to speak, into Jesus and the living water of the Holy Spirit that He pours into you.
Don not rely on your own merits but on His. I have made Him to be wisdom for you, sanctification, redemption and righteousness. 1 Corinthians 1:30. He emptied Himself and became poor so that by His poverty you could be rich with all His merits. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
Baptized in Christ your sins are gone and you are clothed in Christ. The same anointing is in and on you that was in and on Him. What you could not do on your own, I did for you in Christ. He is My gift to you. I have set you free from the body of death that Adam put you all in. He alone is your peace. He made peace through the Blood of His cross.
The Cross is My power. 1 Corinthians 1:18. And Christ crucified is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:23-25.
Clear out the old, purged by My Word, and bring in the new for a life of sin is no longer for you. You are a new creation. I am in you to will and to do the life of good deeds I prepared in advance in Christ Jesus for you as the work of My hands. Let Me make you into My masterpiece in Christ, formed anew in His image and likeness to live in the freedom of newness of life, no longer bound by the grave cloths any more but set free. The works of the devil in your life are undone by faith in the One who sent His Son to free you from sin and death. And that One is Me, I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself not counting your sins against YOU but imputing them all to Jesus. Renew your mind to who you are in Him and you will be transformed.
All people must know that they can grow from where they are to where they should be by receiving the seed of the implanted Word that can save your souls (that is, I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions, Psalm 107:20) and cultivating it each day until the harvest comes.
Have you received My Word? That is step one, and many never go beyond this, for as the in the parable of the sower, the seed that fell on hard, stony ground never took root but was snatched by the devil immediately when it did not penetrate into the heart of the hearer. You must actively cultivate and guard the seed of My Word, break up the stony ground and let it sink into you richly, and pull out the thorns (anxieties, fears, greed, lusts), the weeds (anger, bitterness, depression), and anything that would choke it off and stop it from reaching fruition, chase out all the little foxes (irritations, shame, guilt, offense). Let it grow to harvest and then you must gather it. Have you harvested your seed when it has grown or have you let the harvest rot?
Keep your eyes on the Shepherd. He alone can lead you to the land of your harvest and you must plant and cultivate the seed there, like Isaac, and he reaped a hundred-fold return. You plant and cultivate the seed of My Word and I give the growth. Plant the seed that will grow into the harvest you want. Do not plant the devil’s seed or he will give the growth.
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY THAN JESUS. He is the only way to Me. He is the Son and whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Jesus is the only way out of darkness ot light. He is the only way from sickness to health. He is the only way from death to life. He is the only way from captivity to freedom. He is the only way out of unrest to rest. He is the only way out of shame and guilt to perfect righteousness and a cleansed conscience. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OUT OF YOU SINS. Otherwise your sins hold you prisoner to fear. Just as Adam feared when he sinned. I told Joseph to Name the long-awaited Messiah, Jesus, for He would save His people from their sins. He paid the ransom for all. Once and for all. You will die in your sins unless you come to believe He is Lord.
Now I want to tell you who are discouraged and feel that you just cannot get your life right. Take note:
- I am not mad at you. I affirm that many places in My Word but here is a Scripture to back that up, “I have sworn that I will not be angry with you nor will I rebuke you.” Isaiah 54:9. Jesus took all the wrath that would have fallen on you for your sins.
- Go forward. I affirm that also in many places in My Word but here is a key Scripture to back that up: “But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead I press on toward the goal of the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14.
- Your sins and offenses I remember no more. “And the Holy Spirit also testifies to YOU after saying, ‘This is My covenant that I make with them, after these days says the LORD, I will put My laws upon their hearts, and on their minds I will write them,’ saying “And their sins and their lawless deeds, I will remember NO MORE.” Hebrews 10:15-17.
You are forgiven. But even more. You are BLESSED. Never forget that I AM the God of all comfort and I have given you the Comforter to be with you and in you forever.
I love you. You are about to embark on a whole new life if you will reach out and take it. Stop looking at yourself and look at Jesus. He is now your life and He is the beauty of your life. And He is altogether lovely. Song of Songs 5:16. It is time that instead of beating yourself up, you got thrilled with My Mercy. It endures forever.
