But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the Word of faith which we are preaching.” Romans 10:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Come and live your life in Me. I will set you O so free. I want you to know I love you so, I love you so.
You can be totally free of every encumbrance (mental, emotional, physical, financial) and the sin which so easily entangles you, so you are free to run along the path of life with Me. Hebrews 12:1. And I mean that you can never get weary, never burn out, never quit and not just walk, not just run, but soar.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for (qavah (קָוָה): to look for, to hope, to expect, to look to) the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31.
Shalom is My plan for your life—nothing missing, nothing broken, and never alone, in My constant care and provision in the peace and joy of perfect fellowship for I establish you in righteousness, My righteousness, in Christ.
How can you live so free of all that has so easily bound you? Fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of your faith.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
Jesus is My Word made flesh and in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, you have unfathomable riches in Christ.
My Word, faith in My Word. My Word is truth and truth sets you free of sin and death. You can live your life in, through, and with Him.
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. You who are in Christ are dead to sin and alive to Me. You are free to be carefree, worry free, anxiety free, depression free, fear free, sin free, and encumbrance (limit) free.
How? His life in you. How? Faith in My gift to you of Jesus who loved you and gave His life to free you from all that held you in the prison of condemnation and judgment with punishment ahead, no future and no hope. He set you free to newness of life in perfect love that casts out all fear so you can proceed by the new and living Way of Jesus with confidence to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace at every moment to supply ALL your needs (spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental, financial). And not just once, but over and over and over for now and eternity—grace upon grace.
You are super-supplied for I have given you the Kingdom now as a joint heir with Christ.
How do you walk in this? AS YOU HAVE RECEIVED CHRIST SO LIVE IN HIM.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:8-13.
LOOK AT THE ORDER: first, you confess (homologéō (ὁμολογέω), from homoú, which means “together,” and légō, which means to “speak to a conclusion,” i.e, to voice the same conclusion, to speak in full agreement; to align with (endorse)) with your mouth the truth of My Word. And second the faith, the belief in the heart takes root, i.e., is engraved there until you can speak it in agreement with Me. But it gets into your heart, will fill your heart, as you repeatedly say it until it has becomes you. And then you are saved!
First, you hear and hear My Word. For faith comes by hearing but it is released by speaking. I declare, say, and call things. And as you hear My Word, you begin to say it as your word. And then your heart takes hold of it and it writes on the tablet of your heart until you fill up the page with that and nothing else. Until there is no room for any other word because your heart is full. And it is then the mountain moves.
You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. Job 22:28.
Notice you hear, say, and then your heart believes. You take a thought by saying it. And that is how you get worried and anxious, you do not answer it with the truth but take the thought that disagrees with My Word. I told you I am your shepherd and you shall not want. That I am the LORD that looks ahead and provides. That you, always having all sufficiency, are able to give to every good work. That I have provided all you need for life and godliness.
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31.
Do not live in fear, little flock, it has pleased Me, your Father, to give you, My children, the Kingdom.
And Jesus confirms this many times:
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will happen for him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will happen to you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” Mark 11:22-25.
First, hear and know My Words. Second, speak in agreement with the conclusion in My Word (promise) to whatever is coming against you that is contrary to My Word, no matter how permanent it looks to you (mountains are big) speak the same conclusion. And say My Word until it is established in your heart. And it will suddenly get a hold of your heart and there is NO doubt you have what you are saying. You won’t be like the boy’s father who told Jesus that he believed in his head but not in his heart, in his heart he had unbelief. Why? Go back and look at what he was saying to himself and others.
A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.” “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” Mark 9:17-19.
And why did the disciples fail to cast out the demon that time when they had been successful before with others?
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not drive it out?” And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:19-20.
Remember the woman who had the issue of blood twelve years and never got better until she changed what she was saying because she heard about Jesus?
A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse—after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. For she was saying (legó ( λέγω): to say, to speak, to tell, and here it is written in the Greek imperfect tense which indicates continuous action. In the context of Greek grammar, when a verb is in the imperfect tense it describes an action that was ongoing or repeated in the past), “If I just touch His garments, I will be saved (sózó (σῴζω): to save, to rescue, to deliver, to heal, to preserve).” Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction. Mark 5:25-29.
Agree with Me, you who have died with Christ and been raised with Him, and say, “I am dead to sin and alive to God.” Write that in your heart and see the result. Stop saying you always fall into certain sins. Let the weak say, “I am a mighty hero.”
Stop saying you are depressed, anxious or afraid! Instead say, “Thank you LORD, I am free from depression, I am full of joy!” You have My Word on that, Jesus told you that He has given you His peace and He has given you His joy that your joy may be full. So, say it again like you mean it: “Thank you LORD, I am free from depression, I am full of joy!” Write that in your heart until you KNOW you are free from depression. That is walking by faith and not by sight.
My heart stirs and overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1.
My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments within you. Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your intimate friend; that they may keep you from an adulteress, from the foreigner who flatters with her words. Proverbs 3:1-5.
Everything you say you are writing on the tablet of your heart, it is filling your heart. It will keep filling as you repeat with consistency, whether good or bad, until your heart kicks in and what you are saying takes root and grows into a harvest. Then you speak it as what you know and believe. From the fullness of your heart the mouth speaks.
Faith comes by hearing, but it kicks in by speaking what you are hearing.
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.
That is why consistency in your words will bring the result of what you are speaking to manifest. The sower sows the seed of the Word, but many rejected it or choked it out. How? By speaking contrary to it.
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. . . If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless. James 1:21-22;26.
How do you deceive your heart? By speaking against My Word and not permitting your heart to rest in faith. That is what the Israelites did who never went in to enjoy the PROMISED land. They spoke doubt and unbelief to their hearts and it kept them up all night, weeping and crying out against My Word in their tents. And that was all their heart could speak.
Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end. Hebrews 3:12-14.
Did they have it in the beginning, yes they did, listen to their song after the Egyptians drowned in the sea:
“Who is like You among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders? You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them. In Your lovingkindness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; in Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation. The peoples have heard, they tremble; anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia. Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed; the leaders of Moab, trembling grips them; all the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away. Terror and dread fall upon them; by the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone; until Your people pass over, O LORD, until the people pass over whom You have purchased. You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place, O LORD, which You have made for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established. The LORD shall reign forever and ever.” Exodus 15:11-18.
Now compare what they said and did once I had safely brought them out of Egypt and across the desert to the border of the Promised Land. They forgot My signs and wonders, and just looked at what they saw, not at the conclusion I had told them would surely come to pass. They refused to look at victory and only saw defeat.
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are too strong for us.” So they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size. There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:31-33. Then all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. All the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron; and the whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness! Why is the Lord bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become plunder; would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt.” Numbers 14:1-4.
Of the twelve that went in to bring back a report of the promised land, ten came back and thought they spoke the truth, telling the Israelites they would be unable to conquer the land because of the giants and walled cities and their small stature, it was what they saw, but two, Joshua and Caleb, did not deny the giants or the walled cities but spoke the conclusion I had promised: I was with them, I had promised it to them, so they would certainly possess the land and not with a lot of toil but easy as eating bread. I called the report the ten brought back a bad report. I said Joshua and Caleb had fully done My Will. But they had not even gone in yet. They just agreed with Me.
Jesus is the High Priest of YOUR confession (homologia (ὁμολογία), it is the noun, earlier we discussed the cognate verb, it is a compound homo (ὁμοῦ), the same together, and logos (λόγος) the word). And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among you. And Jesus told you He spoke nothing on His own initiative but only My Words. He was in complete agreement with Me. We are as one and He prayed all you would be one with Me in Him too. How? Remain in My Word and let My Word remain in you. Then ask what you will and I will give it to you. Why? I watch over My Word to perform it.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and be to Me disciples. John 15:7-8.
Jesus is the High Priest of your confession, He brings it to Me when you agree with Him and I perform it. My Word does not return to Me void but achieves the purpose for which I sent it.
I love you. Remember what you say is writing in your heart and filling it up until it overflows, and then when you speak it happens by faith, but not until your heart is full. Be careful what you are hearing and speaking because sin and death work the same way. The devil tries to make you speak things that destroy you, but I will give you Words to cancel his weapons and give you days of Heaven upon the earth. Don’t let your heart be deceived by the words of your mouth. Instead put your heart to rest in My promises and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free, it will release your heart to joy and peace! Persevere. The harvest is near. Never say what would encumber and ensnare you into sin, be speaking the truth in love as I do.
