Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27.
For your husband is your Maker, whose name is the LORD of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, who is called the God of all the earth. Isaiah 54:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I have commanded you not to worry and to have no anxiety at all about anything but in everything to hand it over to Me in prayer and petition with thanksgiving and then to let My peace rule you heart. Do NOT let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid. Jesus gave you His peace. You must help with this by being diligent to shut the door to your mind on worry and fear, whatever it is that is occupying your thoughts that is bringing you down. When it starts shut it out. Slam that door and put your mind where I have told you to: on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovable and gracious, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, ponder on these things. Philippians 4:8. What I am saying is that whatever the problem is stop mulling it over and over in your mind. That will trap you in worry, stress, anxiety, and fear in the pit of your stomach. I have given you Jesus to help you on this: “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens.” Revelation 3:5-7. Let Him help you shut the door and set your mind above where He is seated at My right hand (and don’t forget that I raised you there in Him and seated you with Him). Set your mind there, the perspective is much better from above than beneath, not on the things that are on earth. Colossians 3:1-3.
Now, this may be a surprise to you because you may be in a situation where you are in trouble, but if you are doing this, that is, letting your mind dwell on things people are doing or you have done so that it is taking your focus off Me and destroying your joy, then you are being disobedient to My Word and the disobedient I call wicked and they cut their life short. I want you to understand what I told you through My prophet Isaiah when he wrote for your edification, exhortation and comfort: “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” Isaiah 1:18-20. If you are willing and obey by shutting the door to your mind to these anxious thoughts, that is, not permitting yourself to set your focus upon how awful your problem is or your inadequacies or the evil actions of others, but instead but your focus on Me (magnify My ability to set things right and cleanse you of all wrongdoing) and ponder the marvelous plan of deliverance and victory I have for you by entrusting the whole situation to Me with confidence that I have a way to heal and deliver you, then you will have peace in your heart and a wonderful day. But if you refuse to have confidence that I am working on your behalf to change things in your favor and rebel against Me by doubting My willingness to cleanse and deliver you, which you may not be doing consciously in that way but you actually are doing it if you keep concentrating on your inability to solve the problem and dreading what you have to do or what you have done and how to get out of it, then you will be devoured by the sword of your own words that will paralyze and destroy you. You choose, you can wield My Sword of the Spirit, My Words, or you can use your words of bitterness, accusation, desperation, anxiety, and doubt. And if you choose the later, you will suffer for it by having a tormented day. And it is not Me or even the problem tormenting you, it is your own thoughts. Death and life are in the power of your tongue and you will eat the fruit thereof.
But I have good news for you. I have made Jesus responsible for you, for your care and salvation. I tell you by the prophet Ezekiel that I Myself will shepherd My sheep and I have delegated all power for that to Jesus, sealed you in Him, and made Him responsible for your salvation in every area of your life. And as your High Priest He intercedes for you for He can save you to uttermost.
He is your good Shepherd and your High Priest and your Husband and Head of the Body, the church. Many of you are well versed in Jesus as your Shepherd and some in Him as your High Priest, but not many understand, as My apostle Paul did by revelation of My Spirit, the great mystery of Christ and the church. And yet you who believe are the church, the Body of Christ.
The church is called the “Bride of Christ” and I talk about the marriage feast of the Lamb, and My Son told the parable of the father who gave a wedding banquet for his son and invited many to come, and finally went out and tried to bring everyone in. Christ is the head of the church, just as I tell you that the husband is the head of the wife, but the husband joins with the wife and the two become as one flesh. And so it is with Christ and the church. Jesus is the Savior of the body. I tell you to submit to Me, resist the devil, and he will have to flees from YOU. But you will note that you first submit to My Word, be subject to My Kingdom. I tell wives to submit to their husbands, just as the church is subject to Christ (remember, I rescued you from the authority of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, the church) in everything. Ephesians 5:22-33.
As a husband loves his wife and gives his life to care for her, so Christ also loves the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:26-27. You are presented to Christ, I seal you in Him when you believe the good news of your salvation in Him, as his bride and then He SANCTIFIES you (remember the prayer of Jesus at the Last Supper that I would sanctify you in the truth, and that My Word is truth?), having cleansed you by the washing of water with the Word (renews your mind and cleanses you from dead works and impure thoughts and practices) so that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing. He makes you holy and blameless, beyond reproach and then presents you to Me as His bride, as His own body. And in that way you enter the New Covenant sealed in His Blood that He made with Me, you who believe are now one Spirit with Him, 1 Corinthians 6:17, and one with Me, for in Him, as His body, as His bride, you take your place as one with Him in His Covenant with Me.
Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the church, and wives submit to your husbands as the church submits to Christ. The great mystery of oneness. And it is the love of the husband for the wife that saves her, makes her wealthy, and cleanses her to be without wrinkle or blemish. Love consists in this, not that you have loved Me but that I loved you and have given My Son as propitiation for your sins. As your Savior. As the true and ideal husband. Your Maker has become your husband, the Lord of all the earth. Isaiah 54:5.
Do you remember what Paul wrote to Titus? “But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:5-7.
The marriage covenant on earth makes the husband join with his wife and the two become one flesh. The husband who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because you are members of His body. This should make you stop and shout “Hallelujah!” Do you see? Jesus has joined Himself with you and you have become one Body. I have sealed you in Christ by My Holy Spirit and as His Body, He takes the responsibility of nourishing you and cherishing you as His own.
Your actions are now actions of His body on earth. He is the head, and the members of the body follow the directions of the head. It is in your head you send the signal to your legs and feet to walk or not, whether to sit or stand, what direction to turn. Your actions are now His responsibility. He guides you in right paths for His Name’s sake. Please help Him out in this, not as unruly members that must be disciplined and brought under control, but as those who walk in a manner worthy of your calling, worthy of Him who has called you into the church as His bride, as His body. I have betrothed you to Me forever in faithfulness and love. Learn to hear My voice, learn to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, learn My ways as My spouse.
As your good Shepherd, as your great High Priest, as your husband, and as your Head, Jesus has given Himself, His life, and all He is and has for YOU. I gave Him to you so you could live your life through Him—a life triumphant, true, fruitful and powerful on earth. A life like His, of integrity, compassion, beauty, nobility, love, and truth lived through, with and in Him, drawing all you need from His riches for all He has is yours as your husband, Shepherd and great High Priest. Grace upon grace so that you may reign in life through Him. After listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation (and He is the Savior of the body)—having also believed (you must not only hear but believe in your heart and speak with your mouth), you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of your inheritance, with a view to the redemption of possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14. Do you see? The Redemption of Possession. You are His Body, and I have given you to Him as His bride and told Him He must raise you up on the last day. John 6:39-40. Redemption of Covenant Possession. Resurrection life is yours in Him, He who is the Resurrection and the Life.
And do you notice that I call Jesus, “the Holy and the True?” Revelation 3:6-7. He is My Word made flesh to dwell among you. My Word sanctifies you and makes you holy and My Word is truth. John 17:17. He is the way, the truth and the life. Get into, remain in, continue in, ponder on, speak, and abide in My Word. My Word cleanses you (washing you with the water of the Word), feeds you (man does not live on bread alone but every Word that comes from My mouth), heals you, delivers you (I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from destruction), gives faith to you (faith comes from hearing and hearing My Word), gives life to you (My Words are life to those who find them), and gives health to all your flesh (Proverbs 4:22). My Words are Spirit and Life. My Words are words of eternal life.
I love you. Are you ready to shut the door to worry and fear, cast those unclean spirits out? They have no place in the body of Christ. Remember Jesus told you that Satan had no place in Him, so as His body, Satan has no place in you. Cast that trespasser out and shut the door. You have two gates to your heart, what you let in and what you let out. Watch both. And remember, Jesus is the High Priest of your confession (what you say in agreement with Him, He performs).
