And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:18-19.
But the wicked are like the tossing sea, for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up refuse and mud. “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Life is not worth living if you are living in stress. Life is only worth living if you have entered My rest.
You cannot stay in My rest if you allow fear, gossip, bitterness, anger, to enter your heart. Rebuke them, slam the door on them when they knock. And cast out those unclean spirits. Do not entertain them by thinking what they are presenting to you. They will cause agitation and stress, and that produces every evil work in you. It will make you dread your life and have no joy.
I am going to show you how to live and how to die.
The answer is simple if you want days of Heaven on earth and want to die satisfied and full of peace: Live your life by My Word. Live and die by My Word. Live and abide in My Word. See into another level. The one who keeps My Word is wise. There is great reward in keeping My Words.
Purge out the old and bring in the new. Set you mind on things of the spirit and not things of the flesh. My Word is Spirit and life. My Word is life to those who find it and keep it. This is where it all begins. It is time to clean out all that is holding you back from living a life of rest. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened, for Christ your Passover also has been sacrificed. Celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:6-8.
Enter My rest. What kept the Israelites out wandering in the wilderness for forty years instead of entering My rest? They did not mix faith with My promises. Unbelief kept them in stress and out of My rest. It also kept them in disobedience. They had My commandments but they did not keep them.
How can you enter the rest? What did I do for the Israelites the day before the Shabbat? I gave them the double portion. Then they could rest. In Christ, being in the firstborn and joint heirs with Him you have the double double.
And the promise remains of entering My rest, for I called you into that from the beginning of the world. Adam got out of My rest but I gave the Israelites the Shabbat to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them. Exodus 31:13. And I still invite you to enter My rest (the Shabbat is fulfilled in Jesus who is the Lord of the Sabbath day), He is your peace, and to be a sign between Me and you that I am the one who sanctifies you. And how do I sanctify you? Jesus told you I sanctify you in truth, and My Word is truth. John 17:17. I sanctify you and set you apart in My rest by My Word cleansing you of worldly strife and every evil work. My Word will do a deep cleaning in you to purge out anything that is not of love.
I told My prophet Ezekiel: “I am the LORD your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Sanctify My sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the LORD your God. Ezekiel 20:19-20.
How do you keep yourself in My rest and not get into agitation and strife? Say nothing harmful small or great, Sirach 1:6, and consult Me before you do anything. Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things which you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3. Stay in the company of your good Shepherd and hear His voice. He will lead you out of strife and into peace.
Be careful lest you fall short of entering My rest. For you have had the good news of redemption, just as the Israelites redeemed from the slavery of Egypt did; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. The one who has entered My rest has also rested from his works, as I did from Mine. Therefore be diligent to enter My rest, so do not fall away through following the same example of disobedience. For My Word is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. All Scripture is Spirit-breathed, given into men’s hearts by My inspiration, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that you who have turned your hearts towards Me may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
You cannot put new wine into old wineskins. It is time for you to renew your mind and wake up to righteousness. And then you will be far from oppression. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. And He is still the same.
Put a guard on your mouth and your thoughts. My servant Paul was very aware of this, he took every thought captive for Christ and watched himself. He wrote, “But I keep control of my body, and bring it into subjection, lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:27. Self-monitoring will keep you in peace. Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5. And with Christ in you, then you are aware of His presence not by feelings but by faith, so that you can walk in a manner worthy of so great a treasure.
It is time to get serious about living in righteousness, peace and joy. Too many people, even believers, are living lives of self-destruction. They are tormenting themselves. They are prisoners to their thoughts of fear, worry, anger, resentment, and dread. Hating and being hateful. But that is not what you learned when you received Christ. Do not let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid. O more nonsense—sin makes no sense. Its wages are death. Grow up and enter the rest. Babies fuss and cry, they are selfish, but the mature are calm, cool and collected. Leave behind your idos and walk in My marvelous Light. Come up to where you are seated with Christ. The air is clear and all is light. I have rescued you from the domain of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of all your sins.
So how do you live and how do you die? In My rest. I created you on te sixth day to enter into Shabbat with Me. All the work was done in creation, you have only to cultivate it.
Living in My rest is being held in My everlasting arms. The good Shepherd carries the lambs in His bosom. Jesus came forth from My bosom (the quiet, still place of rest), and He takes you in with Him. He has prepared a place in Me for you. He is the only way in.
Rest from your emotions, from your striving, from your fear, a place of peace (Jesus is your peace) deep in My bosom. The mystery of My presence—of God in you, your hope of glory. And in My presence, there is fullness of joy, the delights at My right hand forever. And that is where I have seated you with Christ.
That is how to live and die, in My Bosom, the Bosom of your Father. In My everlasting arms and there you will find comfort and rest from all that would distress you. I bear you on eagles’ wings and bring you to Myself. Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Exodus 19:4-6. I have borne you all My life and will continue to carry you even to your old age, even to your open grave and then into eternity, and My Son will come to take you with Him. But He is with you and in you and you in Him even now.
Keep My Word. It will give you joy to be above all that you used to be so enslaved by. Walk in new freedom as you walk with Me in goodness and love. You will be filled with heavenly sweetness from above. The rest. Make it your business to promote My interests and no just your own. It is time to let go and move on with the show.
I love you. I make all things new. Including you. You can’t put new wine into old wineskins, it will burst. Enlarge your heart with a renewed mind. Watch your words and watch your thoughts, let them be focused on the Word and victory in Me. No matter what has come against you.
