Today your LORD (יהוה) God says
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27. I have given you peace that passes understanding.
You may be in the middle of the worst storm in your life, but I have given you peace. I have given you the power within to rebuke storms and take down mountains. How? By faith. For by it the men of old gained approval. Hebrews 11:2. And by it you gain My approval too, without faith it is impossible to please Me. Hebrews 11:6. And as Joshua told the grumbling and whining Israelites: “The land which we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the LORD is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us—a land which flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the LORD; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our bread. Their shadow of protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them.” Numbers 14:7-9. But instead of making faith declarations and not permitting their hearts to be troubled, all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then My glory, which they had seen hovering over the tent of meeting leading them across the desert to the promised land appeared to all the sons of Israel, and I said to Moses, “How long will this people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst?” Numbers 14:10-11. I was asking them to believe what looked impossible to them from the evil report of the ten spies, Joshua and Caleb, however, gave them a faith report, they spoke with a different spirit, but the crowd went with the fearful ten. Whose report are you going by? The words of the world, your flesh, and the devil, or My promises and My Words of victory? I do not care how impossible it looks or who or what caused it, nothing is impossible for Me and all things are possible for those who believe that. Do you dare to trust My Word? It is not an idle word as those are of the world, My Word is your life. It gave you life and it sustains your life, and everything else too.
I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies and of man who is made like grass, that you have forgotten the LORD your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, that you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, as he makes ready to destroy? But where is the fury of the oppressor? The one in chains will soon be set free, and will not die in the dungeon, nor will his bread be lacking. For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea and its waves roar (the LORD of hosts is My name). I have put My Words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:12-16.
How can you have this faith that turns everything around? That levels mountains and stops storms? That rebukes fevers and casts out unclean spirits? Simple. You use My faith. Faith that comes through the Name of Jesus. That is how Peter and John raised up the man who had been crippled from birth and had never walked in his life so that he was leaping, jumping and running about in joy. Peter told the astonished crowd, “It is on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16. The faith that comes through Him. And Peter had told the crippled man that what Peter had he would give to him. In Peter was a deposit, the measure of faith, that I give every born again believer. Romans 12:3. It is My faith I put in you. And it is a fruit and gift of the Holy Spirit in and on you. 1 Corinthians 12:9; Galatians 5:22. Peter wrote to you who believe that you have received a like precious faith with him. 2 Peter 1:1. And you received it with the gift of righteousness. You can now have confidence that all I have is yours for I have made you righteousness and in right standing with Me. I have established you in righteousness. And faith is the basis for all the beautiful virtues and knowledge that lead up to perfect love. And if you lack faith in My goodness and love for you, then you are blind and short sighted in spiritual matters, having forgotten your purification in Jesus form your former sins. 2 Peter 1:5-9.
So how do you move mountains and rebuke the devourer? With the authority of the Name of Jesus which I have given to you and there is no other name given among men by which you can be saved. Do you remember what Jesus promised you, and He is the way, the truth and the life? He is My beloved Son, listen to Him. He speaks My Words. “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14. When you ask in that great and exulted Name that I have given Him, that is contained in My Name, things in Heaven and on earth and under the earth move and tremble. The Name of Jesus brings Jesus and anything He you will get the same result that the disciples got when they woke Jesus in the boat during the storm and called upon His Name. He rebuked the storm and asked them where their faith was. He was with them and whatever you ask in His Name, He does. Looks like you do it, like Peter and John with the crippled beggar that now walked and jumped about in joy, but Peter told the awestruck crowd that he was not the source of the miracle though he had called it into being. There was another in him and it was the power in that Name and the faith that came with that Name that made the impossible come to pass. You are strong in Me and the power of My might. Attach to Jesus as a branch to the vine and you will bear much fruit. Not only productive labor but the glorious fruit of the spirit which will bring joy to you and all who associate with you. Without Me you can do nothing, not even breath. You know that you did not create yourself, I did.
And did you notice that Jesus told them “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” He wanted all for the praise of My Glory (My goodness, presence and power). He is the Light of the world and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of Life. And He told you, who are believing in Him and have Christ in you, your hope of glory, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.
And this principle is so important, Jesus told you again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” John 16:23-24.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, do not permit them to be afraid. I cannot emphasize this enough; you must fight fear off with faith. Words of faith alone will take down fear. Nothing else will work. You have to open up your mouth and speak the result that I have promised you and not your circumstances. That is what Joshua and Caleb did and it turned out for them just as they said. They lived the impossible and enjoyed it. But the others who chose to speak what they saw and not what I promised, never entered the Land of Promise and never enjoyed the fruits thereof, though I had prepared the victory for them in advance. All that kept them from seeing the impossible come to pass was that they refused to proclaim it. They spoke the opposite though they thought they were speaking the truth, but it is My Word that is truth and will ultimately prevail, not contrary circumstances no matter how firmly established they seem.
There are many of you who have let what is happening in the world and in your lives now begin to make you question Me and walk in fear and evil forebodings but you are giving in to the enemy who is coming against you now from every side for he knows his time is short. Have you noticed? One thing comes against you and just when you think that one is going down, multiple matters, great and small, rise up in the wake of what you thought had to be the worst it could be and made the matter before look small in comparison. It is becoming the tossing sea. But you need to calm it in the Name of Jesus. What did He tell you to do? To have My kind of faith and speak to the mountain and tell it to be lifted up and cast into the sea with no doubt in your heart that it will do so. Speak it with authority like you mean it and do not permit the mountain to remain. And then pray and ask in that great Name I have entrusted to you for the good result you want instead of speaking the dire outcome. At the Name of Jesus things move.
You have Him in you. And you have My Spirit in you. Why are you so afraid?
Be anxious for nothing but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to Me. Do not hide in shame your weakness or your mess, make a request that I clean it up and make you strong. I am here with you, and I go before you to make a way and I come behind you as your rear guard. Remember My Son asked the blind Bartimaeus, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He wanted a concrete request. And I asked Solomon to tell Me what he wanted, what his heart desired. And I have not changed. And then let My peace, the peace Jesus gave to you, which surpasses all understanding (lets you sleep right through a storm, like Jesus in the tossing boat and Peter locked in a prison cell condemned to die in the morning) will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Get serious about this and stop letting the spirit of fear trouble you. Cast that unclean spirit out and then fix your mind on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8. And this will produce peace. For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace. Isaiah 55:12.
It all depends on where you set your mind, on My Word or on the world. Your choice, but only My Word will give you peace. And the truth is you already have peace. I gave you Mine. And nothing shakes Me. I am your everlasting Rock.
