Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become new; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.” John 5:14.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:5-57.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

When My Son healed the man by the pool of Bethesda, He gave him a whole new life. And My Son cautioned him, “Behold, you have transitioned into a new realm (in Greek, the original language of this Scripture, the word used here is gínomai – which means to emerge, become, transitioning from one point (realm, condition) to another), do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.” John 5:14. What did He mean by that? Recall, Jesus did not speak on His own initiative but only My Words of eternal life. Sin makes no sense. The wages of sin is death. Sin cuts your life short and destroys everything that is valuable in your life. There is no peace for the wicked.

Sin is lawlessness. It is a breaking of Covenant. It is a breaking of My Commandments. It is a lack of love and loyalty. It is a break in faithfulness. It is selfishness and hardness of heart. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Think about that a moment. If a bee does not sting you there is no pain or poison, but if the bee stings you there is pain and poison. If you die in your sins because you have not taken Jesus as your Lord, and had all your sins taken away, then death is the end for you of all that is good in your life. You will get the judgment of the master you are serving. And Satan’s judgment is hell and eternal fire. And if you are not under grace by receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are under the law. And if you break the law intentionally there is no relief for you, no place of repentance, under the law. But under grace, sin no longer has power over you for it is no longer your master, for Jesus has taken all your sins and all punishment on Himself and nailed them to the Cross wiping out any condemnation and giving you eternal life. He redeemed you from the curse of the law. You are no longer under the law where there is no mercy but you are under grace where there is superabundant mercy and that is given justly for in Jesus your sins have been punished in His flesh and are gone. I have rescued you out of the realm of darkness and transitioned you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son and qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in Light. And fair indeed is your inheritance! Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that I have prepared for those who love Me. And I have revealed them to you through the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11. My power working in you can do far more than you can ask or imagine.

I have given you the victory through your Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:56-57. Therefore, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in My work knowing that your toil is not in vain in Me. I will bring it out in the Light on the Last Day to reward you. Each man’s praise shall come from Me. Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, even on yourself, but wait until Jesus comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from Me. 1 Corinthians 4:5. Do not curse yourself. Do what I do, bless yourself. Never release death with your words. You are blessed so you will only be speaking the truth. And this will release showers of blessing!

Jesus told the crowd, “For the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works I do—testify to Me, that the Father has sent Me.” John 5:36. The works of Jesus testified to My glory, do yours? Do people see the goodness in your life and the way you treat others as showing you are a believer and give praise for My goodness? Jesus was anointed with the Spirit and power to go about doing good and healing those oppressed by the devil. And so are you.

Jesus asked the Pharisees and leaders of the people, “How can you believe when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” John 5:44. Many people are about their own interests and seeking the praise of men but they care little about keeping covenant with Me, they will break faithfulness in a moment if they think they can gain worldly advancement or promotion by so doing. But I am the one with whom you have to do and I alone am your ultimate judge.

Why does sin destroy you? What is its sting? You were made in My image and likeness, you were made in the image of Christ, and there is no sin in Him. There is no evil, no darkness, only light and love. So in sin you are like a fish out of water, you are in the wrong medium, so you die. In sin, you are under another jurisdiction and it is one that is self-destructing.

You do not have to sin. My Son has set you free. He has set the captives free! Sin has no power over you if you are under grace because the grace in which you now stand through faith is a whole new jurisdiction. You are no longer trapped under the jurisdiction of the devil.

Entrust your life to Me, your faithful creator. Stop tormenting yourself. I have sworn never to be angry with you again, so release yourself. I tell you to forgive all who have wronged you and that includes yourself. It has not so much as entered your mind the beautiful things I have prepared for you. In Christ I have prepared a life for you of amazing deeds of excellence far beyond all you can ask or imagine. Why don’t you lift up your eyes and see? Do My Works that I show you and say My Words and you will always win the victory. John 17:26.

Jesus is the example of a perfect, sinless life. He never spoke on His own initiative but only said My Words. He only did the works I showed Him. He worked out what I worked in Him. And I am at work in you as well. Christ in you, your hope of glory.

You have an excellent Spirit in you, do not grieve Him. Do nothing that would grieve or quench the Holy Spirit and you will never sin. He is your counselor, guide, leader, and teacher.

This is eternal life, that you may know Me the one true God and Jesus Christ the one I have sent. John 17:3. And how do you know Us? By the Holy Spirit. I have poured My love (which is Myself) into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is your teacher. He witnesses and testifies to Jesus. John 15:26. And He shares with you My innermost thoughts. 1 Corinthians 2:10-16. My thoughts no one knows except by My Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:11. I share My thoughts with you by the Spirit in words taught by the Spirit, not words of human wisdom but of My hidden wisdom. You speak My Words in a mystery. 1 Corinthians 2:7. For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to Me, 1 Corinthians 14:2,  for no one understands, but in the Spirit, he speaks mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:13. Therefore when you speak in tongues, pray that you may interpret so that you will pray with your spirit and with your understanding.

I cannot begin to tell you the glory that is yours in Christ and all you can take hold of and bring to pass in your life even now. Why are you so fearful? Why do you doubt? I have commanded you not to fear and not to live in unbelief but to believe, lift up your eyes, read the Word and write down My amazing promises and then declare them over your life and your trials. And then move mountains and take down Goliaths. Put your hand in Mine and let us pray and declare the victory together! I watch over My Word to perform it, even in your mouth. Give Me something to work with so I can take you up on eagles’ wings and carry you off away from harm and strife to a wide and open space in Me as My own special possession.

I love you. Never forget that I have sworn never to be angry with you again. Isaiah 54:9. Everything I have is yours in Jesus. And that is Covenant. And My Covenant I will never break. I will complete the good work I have begun in you if you will let Me. Do not grieve My Spirit and shut Me out. I am knocking and if you open your heart to Me, I will come and dine with you in sweet fellowship and we can make great plans together of mighty works for you to perform. And then your works that I give you to accomplish will testify to all people that I have sent you. Just like when Peter and John raised up the crippled man to walk made perfectly whole the priests, elders, scribes and rulers, seeing the confidence with which Peter and John spoke, and seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say in reply. Acts 4:13-14.
