When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” Acts 12:11.
No trial has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tested beyond what you are able, but with the trial will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
But to which of the angels has He ever said, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:13-14.
For He gives His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Today I am continuing to journey with you on your road to freedom. If you continue in My Word you are truly My disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. And today I am showing you one of the many ways your great good Shepherd delivers, protects, and defends you and gives you the victory. But you have to learn not to neglect so great a salvation, else how will you escape and have the victory? Hebrews 2:3.
Psalm 23 begins, “The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want,” and we were looking at what Jesus does as your good Shepherd who gave His life for you. And in that Psalm, David sings of being led to green grassy pastures where the Shepherd has him lie down and relax, and to healing waters of rest, but he also speaks of going through the dark valley of the shadow of death and of a victory banquet set out before him in the sight of his enemies and foes. For you will have trials in this life, whether of your own making by wrong decisions and actions, or by others who have authority or influence in your life. David also sings about the Shepherd leading him in right paths. We will talk more about these, but today I want to talk to you under My Name of the LORD of Hosts and show you that one of the many ways My Son provides you with all this care is the ministry of the holy angels sent out to render service to you who are heirs of Salvation. Hebrews 1:14. Joint heirs with Christ, Yeshuah. For many of you are neglecting this area and thus loosing a means of deliverance, escape from harm and evil intentions of others against you, provision, and healing.
Do you remember in the Garden of Gethsemane, when Jesus told Peter to put the sword away, Jesus explained that He was choosing to fulfill Scripture and go to His death but He could have stopped the evil activity of those who came to arrest Him. How? Jesus explained, “Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” Matthew 26:53. He knew I am the LORD of Hosts and that the angels are ministering spirits that I send to serve you who are heirs of Salvation. And Jesus, as you recall, is the Prince, that is, the Captain of the angelic host. Do you not remember when He appeared to Joshua under that title as Joshua and the Israelites headed towards Jericho? Let Me remind you, for Jesus was born as a man to dwell among you according to the flesh in time, but His goings forth (His appearances) are from eternity, Micah 5:2: “Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” He said, “No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the LORD.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, “What has my Lord (Adonai) to say to his servant?” The captain of the LORD’s host said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.” Joshua 5:13-15. Sounds like what happened when Moses encountered Me in the burning bush. Holy ground. And with Christ in you, your hope of glory, and My Spirit in you, you are on Holy ground wherever you are. Act accordingly.
And the angelic host can move things and shake things to give you deliverance and victory. The walls of Jericho went straight down with no human hand touching them. And My angel let the apostles and later Peter out of prison and opened all the locked gates to walk them out. And when Paul and Silas prayed and praised as they lay chained to the floor in the innermost prison cell, the whole place shook, the chains came off all the prisoners, and all the gates flew open. Talk about a means of escape! In all these situations it looked like there was no way out, but I never let you be tried beyond your strength, I provide a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
And consider when Hezekiah prayed to Me for protection and deliverance from the surrounding Assyrian army when there looked like no escape. Do you recall? I sent an angel into the enemy camp who took down 185,000 of the enemy army. One angel did that. And those that remained of that vicious army packed up and went home.
And how about when Elisha was surrounded by the Aramean army and it looked like no means of escape? But with the eyes of the spirit he knew he had the victory for outside his window, on the hills where the enemy was encamped, a great number of My angelic army took their stance with chariots of fire. And they outnumbered the enemy.
There are myriads of angels that are with Me, Hebrews 12:22, and these minister to you who are heirs of Salvation. Only a third went with Satan (then Lucifer) when he began his rebellion against Me. So the ones with you greatly outnumber the demons (unclean spirits), which are what the fallen angels have become in their slavery under the devil, that is, Satan.
My holy angels are pure, like shafts of white light, translucent but not transparent, beautiful in form and countenance. They look like you but when you have the privilege to see one you know that their bodies are made of a different substance than yours. Pure light but having a solid form. They are flames of love lit by My love for you, coming straight from My heavenly Kingdom. And you will be amazed at the love, My love, you see in their faces. They are of different sizes and functions. Guardian angels look very much like the one to whom they are assigned, yours looks like you, but perfect in size, proportion, and maturity. And they dwell within the Kingdom that you have access to within you, that is, you who are believers and thus heirs of Salvation. So they are as close as your heart and I can send them forth to minister deliverance, protection, provision, and direction within a heartbeat of your call. For I have given command to My angels to guard you in all your ways.
Those who have not been born again by receiving Jesus as Lord are still aligned to the jurisdiction they were born in from Adam’s corruptible seed, which is the realm of darkness, and within them dwell demons who are in the kingdom which is accessed within them. You know that, when demons are cast out, they come out from within the person they have oppressed.
Please note what Peter said when My angel came and led him out of prison the very night before Herod was planning to have him executed. You see, the Church was praying to Me on Peter’s behalf and Peter’s good Shepherd led him out to freedom by the ministry of an angel. My Son is the captain of the angelic army. And once Peter became fully awake (he was peacefully sleeping lying chained in prison about to be put to death by Herod the very next day, does this tell you something about being anxious about nothing but casting all you cares on Me? Peter wrote that in his letter to you later, “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7), this is what he said: “Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” Acts 12:11.
What are you facing right now? Declare with Peter, “Now I KNOW FOR SURE that the Lord has sent froth His angel and rescued me from the hand _______________ (put in here whoever or whatever is coming against you), and from all _________________ and the devil and his demons were expecting!” Shout it out NOW. And watch what happens.
And as LORD of Hosts, I want to add a promise I make to you through the Words I spoke to My prophet Malachi. The name “Malachi” in Hebrew means “My messenger,” and that is the same word “malach” (when you add the “i” sound at the end it means “my”) that is usually translated as “angel.” People and angels can be My messengers and give service to you. But herein I have been speaking of the angelic spirits (such as your guardian angels) and the angelic spirits which comprise the host (warrior angels). The promise is this, if you are a tither, the devourer (he comes only to steal, kill, and destroy) cannot take your goods, your life, your freedom, your dignity, your finances, your children, your spouse, or a whatever you are facing, for I, the LORD of Hosts, have promised you who tithe to OPEN the floodgates of Heaven to you and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. Then I, the LORD of Hosts, will rebuke the devourer for you, so that he will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes and all will call you blessed. Malachi 3:10-12. And who do I send out of those floodgates of Heaven? The angelic host. Call on Me and I will answer you. Do not neglect so great a salvation or how will you escape?
Let Me just show you that David was aware of this and often called upon angels to fight for him. And you have to know they did. For thirteen years Saul chased David with the entire army of Israel and sometimes he would pass right by him or even be in the same cave with David, but Saul never could capture David. The ministry of angels is a wonderful protection, and David called Me his Shepherd. Here is David speaking in Psalm 35, make it your own, “Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of buckler and shield and rise up for my help. Draw also the spear and the battle-axe to meet those who pursue me. Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.” Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life. Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me. Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD chasing them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.” Psalm 35:1-6. And the result? “And my soul shall rejoice in the LORD. It shall exult in His salvation. All my bones will say, “LORD, who is like You, who delivers the afflicted from him who is too strong for him, and the afflicted and the needy from him who robs him?” Psalm 35:9-10. And how does Psalm 35 end? “The LORD be magnified, who delights in the prosperity of His servant. And my tongue shall declare Your righteousness and Your praise all day long.” Psalm 35:27-28.
And David told you what brings the Holy angels to take up your cause and deliver you, “Bless the LORD, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His Word, obeying the voice of His Word!” Psalm 103:20. The angels perform My Word, My promises, even when the voice that speaks My Word is yours.
I delight in doing good to you. I Myself will shepherd My sheep and on My mountain, Mt. Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem where myriad of angels are gathered with you in festal garments, there will be showers of BLESSING. Call on Me as LORD of Hosts and watch My promises come to you by the Holy angels. They are just waiting to be released by My Word, even in your mouth, to render service to you who are heirs of Salvation. Do not neglect so great a salvation for if you do, how can you escape? Remember Lot? I had to send the Holy angels to take his hands and drag him out of Sodom before My angelic host destroyed it.
I love you and to My angels I have given command to guard you in all of your ways. Isn’t it time you stopped neglecting so great a salvation? My angelic host. They never lose because the power is from Me, the LORD of Hosts. YHWH (יהוה) Sabaoth (צְבָאֽוֹת). And by faith, you can begin to see the action of the Holy angels in your life. Just call for them by declaring the victory in My Word, they perform My Word and obey the voice of My Word.
