“Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions.” Deuteronomy 32:11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Stop crying and start flying! You have a safety net. Life in the world is like walking on the high wire, but I AM your safety net. You may fall, but you will not be hurled headlong to crash, for like the eagle that hovers over its young, I spread My wings and catch you and carry you on My pinions. Deuteronomy 32:11.
And where do I carry you? I rescue you from your distress and bear you up on eagles’ wings and bring you to Myself. Exodus 19:4. An eagle’s nest is in the high cliffs and is inaccessible to those who would harm its young. There is no snatching out of My hand. I have raised you up with Christ and seated you with Christ at My right hand.
I told Moses that I hover over My people like a great eagle. Deuteronomy 32:11. The word there for “hover” in Hebrew is “rachaph” and it is the same word I use in the opening of the book of Genesis, I tell you that My Holy Spirit hovered over the face of the waters as I spoke creation into being. And the Holy Spirit hovered over Mary as My Word implanted in her heart and produced Jesus for the world. And now My Spirit hovers over you to implant My Word in your heart to create and regenerate you as a new creation in Christ, to conform you to Christ, to restore in you My image and likeness, to make you My dwelling place, and a temple of the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit not only opens you to spiritual revelation, He also gives new life to your mortal bodies, heals your flesh, and raises you up from death to life. Romans 8:11.
Never worry that you could fall off that high wire you are walking on and end in the pit. I, the eternal God, the Most High, even I, am your dwelling place, and underneath are My everlasting arms. I shall thrust down your enemies from before you and shall destroy them. Deuteronomy 33:27. I will make them a footstool under your feet. Psalm 110:1. How? I seat you with Christ at My right hand far above all rule and authority, power, and dominion of the realm of darkness, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:20-22.
I speak to you of carrying you on wings, like an eagle, and that those who wait for Me will gain new strength, that they will mount up with wings like eagles, and they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. I want you to understand the pinions I am talking about and a wonderful way I have of delivering you, protecting you, and picking you up when you fall. Do you not know that I am the LORD of Hosts?
Have you never read, “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:11-12.
Now, I want to talk to you about becoming a prophet. You are all called to prophesy. That is, to speak My Word to edify, encourage and exhort yourself and others. Become the prophet of your own life by declaring My Words over yourself and watch things begin to move in the right direction.
Abraham, while still called Abram, at 99 years old did not yet have the faith to have the child I had promised him. Thirteen years before that he and Sarai had figured out a way to make My promise come to pass on their own efforts. But it was not My Will or the way I had spoken it. It produced Ishmael, the son of a slave, and not a son of Sarah (then called Sarai). But Abram listened to the logic of Sarai’s voice over My promise. Genesis 16:2. It ended in heartache and I am still working to resolve that mess but Jesus came to undo the works of the devil.
Now at age 99, twenty-four years after I called Abram and promised him a son by Sarai, was still without a son and still trying to get the promise his own way. But suddenly things changed and as Paul tells you in his letter to the Romans, he became fully persuaded that what I promised I would perform. He stopped looking at his own body and the dead womb of Sarah and “in hope against hope he believed, so that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken.” Romans 4:18.
What changed him? I told him to go forward and walk before Me and I gave him a new name. I called him “Abraham,” which means “father of a multitude,” while Abram just means an exalted father. Genesis 17:4-6. And I included Sarai in the name change. I renamed her “Sarah,” which means “princess,” while Sarai meant “commander.” Which she had been, and Abraham had listened to her voice over Mine. And I added that I would bless her and she would be a mother of Abraham’s son, whom I named “Isaac” (meaning laughter) before he was born, and that kings would come from her. Genesis 17:15-16.
After this you will note that I tell Abimelech that Abraham is a prophet. Genesis 20:7. Yes, he began declaring My Word as truth, fully persuaded that what I promised, I would perform. Like Me, he started calling into being that which did not exist. Romans 4:17.
I reveal My secret counsel first to My prophets, Amos 3:7, so that they can speak it into the earth so that I can perform it. When I have spoken, who can but prophesy? Amos 3:8.
Why can’t you just believe My Word and stand on it, let the worry and fear go and believe what I have spoken? You are healed, beloved, provided for, saved, and blessed. Nothing wrong with those things. So why is your soul not at peace? No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue raised in accusation against you, you shall prove false. Your righteousness is from Me. Isaiah 54:17. Just believe, receive, and smile. You will never be put to shame. The Blood of Jesus and the words of your testimony overcome all evil, all the works of the devil in your life.
I love you. It starts by being a prophet and it ends in the birth of the promise. Prophesy over your seed and watch it grow. The Blood of Jesus is cleansing you, speaking for you, paying for you, atoning for you, opening the new and living way for you to My throne, to fellowship, to answered prayer, and to joy unspeakable filled with glory. How can you but rejoice? Dare to walk the high wire, even run on it! You have a safety net.
