Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;  Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;  Who satisfies your years with good things, your youth is renewed like the eagle.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Today I want to teach you about the POWER of praise.  I taught this to David many years ago and he learned it well.  He is remembered as the sweet Psalmist of Israel.  2 Samuel 23:1.  It is the key of David that opens doors no man can shut and closes doors no man can open. Revelation 3:7. It is the reason that in the end David always came out victorious and on top no matter how dark or hopeless it looked in the interim.  It is the reason that even though he fought more battles than any other person in the Bible that he was never wounded and always came out unscratched.  It is the power of praise.

But not just any praise.

Simply put, it is declaring My Word over your life and the lives of others in praise.  Praising Me by declaring My Word is prophecy.  It builds you up and builds up others.  It remakes your world, your body, your finances, and your health.  It edifies.

In Psalm 149 I instruct you how to do it.  This is the power that can change you from sickness to health, from depression to joy and from lack to abundance.  It did all this for David and I am no respecter of persons.  If you do it, you can experience the same victory and favor he experienced.  And may I add it also did it for Moses, Joshua, Shaddrach, Mischak and Abednego, Mary, Paul and many others.

Let Me open Psalm 149 to you. It begins with the basic “how to.”  It begins with praise. “Praise the Lord!” and then I tell you how: “Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing; let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation (I clothe you in the garments of Salvation, which is Yeshuah in Hebrew, which is the Name of Jesus, and when you are baptized in Christ, I clothe you in Him and you are holy and blameless in My sight in Him).”  And then I tell you the central point here:  “Let the godly ones exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds (when you are down and alone and it is the dark night)– the high praises of God in their mouth, and a two-mouthed sword in their hand.”  And this will vanquish all enemies—the world, flesh and the devil with his entire cohort.

High praises in your mouth and the two mouthed sword in your hand.  The sword of the Spirit, which is My Word.  Two mouths, My mouth (man does not live on bread alone but on every Word out of My mouth—they are life to those who find them and healing to all their flesh) and your mouth.  Two witnesses establish a fact.  Jesus only spoke My Word, He is My Word made flesh, and in the Book of Revelation He does battle by the sword out of His mouth.  So do you.

High praise is exalting Jesus.  I have given Him the Name above every other name to whom every knee shall bow and declare Him LORD!  But you exalt Him by My Word.

Let Me show you how to praise.  You do not beg Me for things I have given you already in Jesus.  Begging and pleading is NOT praise or prophecy and it is not effective prayer.  It is NOT a prayer of faith.  You have to know My Word to pray effective prayers.  You have to know My Word to prophesy.

This is praise that I desire, it is worship in Spirit and in Truth, and I seek such worshippers.  Jesus told the Samaritan woman that by the well.

And here is an example of how to do it.  Say that the symptoms of a cold or flu are beginning to invade your body.  Or you have been diagnosed with a serious illness. You do not grumble, crumble and give in to it.  That is not an overcomer, that is a coward who is witnessing with the devil.  You are to stand up and fill your mouth with praise but praise wielding the two mouthed sword, the testimony out of your mouth that agrees with Mine and allows Me to perform My Word in your life.  Say to Me, “LORD, I praise you for you are My Healer, by the bloody scourges of your Son I am, was and will stay healed.  No sickness can invade My body and no affliction enter My tent. You forgive all my sins and heal all my diseases!  You rescue me from the pit and surround me with love and compassion!  You fill my days with good things and renew my youth like the eagles!  Hallelujah!  I rejoice in You that you are My Helper!  I run to the strong tower of Your Name and I am safe and saved.  You raised Jesus from the dead as my great good Shepherd who supplies for all my needs and restores my soul.  Thank You, My Father, that you always hear Me when I call and deliver Me, You give me the victory in Christ Jesus, You deliver me out of all my troubles. No weapon formed against Me can prosper!  I am blessed in the Beloved.  You are my strength and my song and You are my salvation (Yeshuah).”

As another example consider this: When you feel that all is going down and you are not able to come up for the victory, when your world is coming apart and you are in a time of trouble, do not weep, do not fret, and don’t give up. You will not feel a bit like it, but this is the time to praise using My Word in prophecy so I can pull you out of the pit. It is then you need to clap your hands and give a joyful shout and declare with David, who knew many such days, “I love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1. Call upon Me like that and you will become strong and the tears will stop, for you have called upon Me as your strength and you will be saved from the enemy that is harassing you. Even if you caused the problem. With Me that is not going to stop your victory when you call upon Me in joyful praise by faith as your strength and take refuge in Me.

Just read Psalm 91 and you will understand now what is being declared there, “Say to the LORD: my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!”

The first person to praise Me is Leah, the unloved wife of Jacob.  She had a choice. She could be depressed and believe her life a desert of affliction since her one desire to have Jacob love her was not happening or she could lift up her heart in praise of what she had.  She realized on the birth of her fourth son that having his children was not making Jacob love her as he did Rachel and that all her efforts in that category were failing BUT she looked at her life and saw her precious sons that I had given her and that despite his not wanting her as his wife she had become the wife of Jacob whom she loved and he never left her or forsook her.  And she had learned about Me from Jacob and realized all the good in her life was My doing.  So she turned her attention off Jacob and put it on Me.  And she bore her fourth son in joyful praise.  “Now,” she exclaimed, “I will praise the LORD.”  And she named the baby “Yehudah.”  Which is My Name that I revealed to Moses at the burning bush with a dalet (d sound) in it. And dalet means door.  And that door opened up to bring My Son to earth as a descendant of Yehudah (Judah) according to the flesh.  And My Son was born in praise too as myriads of angels shouted joyfully in praise over the fields of Bethlehem.  In the valley of trouble you open the door to your miracle (for hope does not disappoint) by singing there as Israel did in her youth.  That is, when I began forming a nation to the praise of My glory, the people Israel, which was when I redeemed them out of Egypt and brought them through the Red Sea.

And it was there, for the first time, a people sang together a song praising Me in victory celebration.  Moses wrote it and all the people sang it.  And what did they sing?  “The LORD is my strength and song (zimrah in Hebrew which means a joyful song of praise) and He has become to me salvation (Yeshuah), He is my God and I praise Him, the God of my father and I exalt Him.”  And what happened after they sang a song of praise declaring My goodness and mighty works on their behalf?  Read on.  I made the bitter water sweet by the wood of the tree (Jesus hung for you on a tree) and proclaimed Myself the LORD their healer.  And then I gave them manna in the desert without toil or labor on their part every morning and quail in the evening.  And then I gave them water out of the rock. All that from joyful praise as they declared My Word as written by Moses under the inspiration of My Spirit.  And they are singing his songs in Heaven still.  Did you never read in the book of Revelation about the vision of Heaven where it states:  “And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!”  Revelation 15:3.

But when that generation of Israelites that I redeemed out of slavery no longer sang songs of praise to Me declaring My Word to them, and instead complained and wept saying My Word to them would never be fulfilled, they lost the promised land and died in the desert. Selah.

You can praise your way out of any problem.  Jehoshaphat learned that, 2 Chronicles 20:21-26, as did Paul and Silas, Acts 16:23-34.  And Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego praised their way out of a fiery furnace unharmed.  Daniel 3:52-90.  And so can you.

When you sing praise declaring My Word as a sure thing, I come down to fight your battle for you. 2 Chronicles 20:15.  I am enthroned on your praises.  Psalm 22:3(4).

And now let Me share with you a Word I gave to My prophet Isaiah that you would do well to apply in your life if you want to live the abundant, triumphant and fruitful life I have planned for you since before the foundation of the world. I told Isaiah:  “I am He who blots out (totally removes) your trespasses for My sake (on Jesus so that we can be one again in loving fellowship) and your sins I will not remember.  Put Me in remembrance (remind Me) and let us judge together, you sefer (in Hebrew this word means “book” or “story”, so I am telling you to recount to Me what I tell you in My Book, the Bible) that you may be righteous.”  Tell Me that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and remind Me why.  The new and everlasting Covenant in His blood shed for atonement of all your sins whereby the Holy Spirit testifies that your sins and offenses I remember no more.  Hebrews 10:17.  And what did Jesus tell you on the night of the Last Supper as He took the bread, broke it and said, “This is My body which is given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.” Luke 22:19.  And the same with the cup after eating, He said, “this cup is the new covenant in My blood, do this, as often as you drink, in remembrance of Me.”  1 Corinthians 11:25.  Put Me in remembrance of the sacrifice of My Son.  Do it with the Holy Communion as you partake of the healing and forgiveness in My Son and remind Me of what He did for you. And you too must remember what you have in Him. Never forget the One who paid your debt by His blood.

My Holy Spirit puts you in remembrance of all Jesus said.  John 14:26.  And He testifies to Jesus, and so also will you.  John 15:26-27.  For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  Revelation 19:10.  You overcome the devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony.  Revelation 12:11.  Make sure you are testifying to My Word or you will never overcome.

Jesus told you that if you remain in the Word and the Word remains in you, you may ask what you wish and it will be done for you.  Why?  I watch over My Word to perform it.  My Word in your mouth in praise will move any mountain and make it into a valley.  Have you never read: “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of hosts.  “What are you, O great mountain?  Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain, and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:6-7. Shout a joyful shout of praise at your problem, “Grace, grace to it!”  My grace is more than sufficient for you.

You exist for the praise of My glory, and My glory is the manifestation of My goodness, My power, and My presence.  By declaring My Word in praise you release the power that sustains and maintains the universe and it can rearrange your circumstances and pull you out of any pit.  I send My Word to heal you and deliver you.  And that is your assignment for that will make you a light to the nations as you show My Yeshuah to the ends of the earth.  Isaiah 49:6.

I have set you as a people apart for the praise of My glory.  Isaiah 43:21; Ephesians 1:14.  Be like David, the triumphant man after My own heart, and he sang that My praise was continually in his mouth.  Read Psalm 34 and you will get the idea of declaring My Word in praise.  It pulls you out of the pit and puts your feet on a height, the rock, and  new song in your mouth of praise.  Psalm 40:1-3.

Remember Leah and know that praise opens the door in your life for Me to come to dwell with you.  And when I am with you, who can be against you?

The salvation of the righteous is from Me. I am your strength in time of trouble. I help you and deliver you. I deliver you from the wicked and save you, because you take refuge in Me. Psalm 37:39-40.  Praise is strength and strength is praise.  It is POWER.  The power of praise.  Use it if you desire good things and a satisfying life.

I love you.  Isn’t it time you stepped into your office as a prophet so you can be healed, blessed and have the abundant life I sent Jesus to give you?  I tell you to pursue love, yet to desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. Start today you can do it 24/7 and it is a wonderful way to live and I am glorified as you allow My goodness, power and presence to manifest in your life.  Reconstruct you world by declaring My Word in praise.  Everything else will be added to you.  Don’t just sit there and lament, get busy with highest praise in your mouth and the two mouthed sword in the hand of your tongue.  (Life and death are in the hand of your tongue is the way it says it in Hebrew).
