“I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:14.

I will sing of the goodness and lovingkindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth I will make known Your faithfulness from generation to generation. Psalm 89:1.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

My glory is My goodness. I told Moses that when he asked to see My glory, I told him I would answer him by passing all My goodness before him as I proclaimed My Name, LORD (יהוה). But I cautioned him, saying, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!” Then I told the downcast Moses, for he very badly wanted to see My glory up close, “Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock; and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.” Exodus 33:20-22. And that rock is Christ at My right hand and I have put My Words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My hand. Your life is hidden now with Christ in Me and when Christ, who is your life, is revealed, they you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:3-4. I clothe you in Christ and upon His Face you can gaze on My glory. And as you behold Him, My Spirit changes you from glory to glory until you are filled with My glory, filled with My Spirit, filled with My goodness. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.

And now I show you My glory by Jesus Christ. He is My goodness to you. David sang, “Only goodness and lovingkindness follow, pursue, and surround me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the House of the LORD forever (length of days).” Psalm 23:6. Where did all that goodness come from? Look at how Psalm 23 begins. “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Those who seek Me want for no good thing. Psalm 34:10. Goodness comes to you through the Good Shepherd who gave His life for the sheep. John 10:10. His title? The GOOD Shepherd, that is, My goodness, My glory shining in Him who is the radiance of My glory and the exact representation of My nature. Hebrews 1:3.

The good Shepherd. My hand feeds you, provides for ALL your needs—all sufficiency and an abundance for every good deed. 2 Corinthians 9:8. I set a table before you in the sight of your foes, I anoint your head with oil, your cup overflows. Psalm 23:5. With what? Goodness. Your earthen vessel filled with all the fullness of the divine nature in Christ. Christ in you, your hope of glory. Goodness. David was fascinated by My goodness to him and his house, he sang “How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, before the sons of men!” Psalm 31:19. And again, “How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.” Psalm 65:4. And again, “O taste and see the goodness of the LORD, blessed and happy is the man who takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8.

Jesus is not only the good Shepherd; He is also the door for the sheep. Anyone who enters through Him is saved and will go in  and out to find pasture. John 10:9. And once you enter that door you become a member of the little flock to whom I am pleased to give My Kingdom. And once you enter through faith in Him, He becomes your shepherd forever. Revelation 7:17. You are His sheep and you hear His voice.

And He leads you out and leads you in—into the Kingdom within and out to the world. When Jesus called the twelve disciples, He called them to be with Him and to go out to preach, teach, and heal.

Jesus, the good Shepherd, came so that you would have life, and have it ABUNDANTLY. John 10:10. He emptied Himself of His riches to enrich you. 2 Corinthians 8:9. He gave His life for the sheep. John 10:11. And He knows His own and they know Him, even as I know Him and He knows Me, and He lays down His life for you at My command. John 10:11-18. I love My Son for giving His life for YOU for I Myself love YOU and have given My Son so you will not perish but have eternal life. John 16:26-28; John 3:16. Only I know My Son and only He knows Me, and anyone to whom He chooses to reveal Me. In seeing Him, you see Me. John 14:6. I am the ultimate good Shepherd. I Myself will feed and tend My sheep but I have appointed over you forever My Son as Son of Man, a descendant of David according to the flesh and Son of God according to the Spirit, to shepherd you rightly for My Name’s sake. Ezekiel 34:23. I Myself am your God and My Son will be prince among you. Ezekiel 34:24. And He will feed you Himself and be your shepherd forever. Ezekiel 34:23. And His flesh is real food and His blood is real drink, and whoever eats His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life in Him and shall live forever.

Jesus, your good Shepherd, told His disciples the night before He laid down His life for the sheep that He was going to prepare a place for you and then He would come back and receive you to Himself, that where He is, you may also be. John 14:2-3. Where is He? In My bosom, deep within Me abiding as One. John 1:18. And He pulls you back with Him through the new and living way He has inaugurated for you through the veil and as your great good Shepherd and great High Priest. Hebrews 10:19-22. A way right into all goodness. For I alone am good and the source of all that is good. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, from My Kingdom, coming down from Me, the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:17. Pure goodness, pure love, pure light, pure life. “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.” Psalm 36:7-9.

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every GOOD thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom the GLORY forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21. Jesus gave you all He is to equip you with every good thing.

And He is Prince of Peace, shalom. And He gave you His peace (shalom), so do not let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid. How? Because your good Shepherd is walking with you to protect, feed, bless, heal, and keep you. Look again at Psalm 23 as your own:

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside restful waters of healing. He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the dark valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed my head with oil. My cup overflows. Only goodness and lovingkindness follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (for length of days). Psalm 23:1-6.

I love you and that is why I gave you a great good Shepherd. I know just what you need and He has it all. Have no fear. He gave His life for you and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
